Longer story: Our carpet and rug needed cleaning so we called a few people and decided to go with Mastercraft. Mike arrived on time, actually a few minutes early which is extra on time in my books. He set up quickly and started in spraying the carpet with the cleaning solution. He then waited for the solution to soak in so we asked if he did ceramic flooring also. He quoted doing the floor and we asked if he could add it to the job. He said no probs and then started on the carpet. Years back I was in the flooring industry, had a couple of stores and I know a bit about the cleaning process. Many cleaning companies will spray a cleaning solution and vacuum it up in the same sweep. They tell you that the vacuum is so powerful that it removes virtually all the soap and leaves the carpet clean. What they tend to gloss over is the fact that since the carpet hasn't been properly rinsed there is a little soap residue that remains and will grab and hold dirt after it's dry. Vacuuming won't clean up as much because of this. Better companies like Mastercraft will spray the solution over the entire carpet, let it work and then use steaming hot water to pull the solution and dirt right out of the carpet. The carpet is well rinsed and this process gives a far better result imho. So anyways Mike did a great job on the carpet and rug. Then he started scrubbing the grout lines and tiles. He couldn't believe the amount of effort he put into getting it all looking new. We were really impressed with the job and when we need cleaning again we know who to call. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It's certainly not a 5-star 24-hour coin laundry operation (not a single massage chair in sight, champagne (or ANY tipple) isn't offered) but the staff is accommodating and the equipment works. Some suggestions: 1. Use the largest washing machine possible - $6.00 and worth it. 2. Divide your drying load across 2-3 machines (that's just thermodynamically sound advice) 3. Now here is my experience- from a real Yelper. :) They were quick to schedule us in for an appointment. We called this company because we received a coupon in the mail for their company. The coupon was for 15% off carpet cleaning. They arrived- in fact, they were early! :) This was a mother and son team. They were very friendly. They came in with what appeared to be a small steam cleaner- only it didn't steam clean. Is it rented? I don't know. I have had my carpets cleaned by Stanley, and they come in with huge equipment and many products and protective booties and whatnot. They cleaned our living room, dining room, stairs and bedroom- for a total of 767 square feet, for $397. We presented them with the coupon, but they said they wouldn't honor it because it was another franchise. What????? We were then told our dog cannot be anywhere near the carpet for 2 hours! What kind of chemicals are they using? ugh. The carpet looks decent- cleaner than it was for sure. There are still many stains (we recently purchased the home, so they are not our stains). I'm not sure if they will come up or not if we went with another company. I was surprised they were out of here in less than an hour. I was surprised they didn't honor the coupon. They did an alright job, but next time, I will hire the bigger company, and I will pay less. :) P.S. I called Southwest Chem Dry, and they would have charge $158 less!
