To be clear - this is for the 24-hour laundry associated/attached to this account - and not for the "Same Day Cleaners" operation proper. For the last five years, we've taken up two adjoining rooms in the Ramada (just a mile or so down on the Trail) and we love it there - save for the fact that no laundry room is available. So... ...This is the closest option. It's certainly not a 5-star 24-hour coin laundry operation (not a single massage chair in sight, champagne (or ANY tipple) isn't offered) but the staff is accommodating and the equipment works. Some suggestions: 1. Use the largest washing machine possible - $6.00 and worth it. 2. Divide your drying load across 2-3 machines (that's just thermodynamically sound advice) 3. After going here for probably going on four years now, enough is enough. I'm done. Most of the time, I have the same order, my 3 work shirts and 3 pair of pants. My only request is Heavy starch and creased sleeves on the shirts. I am in the Hotel industry, so I need my work clothes looking crisp and professional. They do fine with the heavy starch. No problems there. My shirts are usually like cardboard, but that's how I like it. But, for some reason, they just can not master the art of putting a crease in the sleeve of a shirt. It is hit or miss. One time they will do it, the next they don't. It is even written on the work order ticket about always crease sleeves and heavy starch. So, after talking with the girls that work there and that not really helping the situation much, I decided to speak with the manager. I explained to her my situation and she apologized and said she would make sure it was right on my next order. I told her I was going to stop bringing my stuff here if they couldn't do what I want. Sure enough, it was perfect. Great. So, this last week, I drop off only 2 shirts and was going to drop the other off, the next day, after I picked up my order. So, my 2 shirts are not creased. The next day, I go to pick up my other shirt and I speak with the manager again. I am wearing my work shirt to show her the uncreased sleeves. She says she is sorry again and says she will check my shirt I am picking up to make sure it is right. I tell her, it doesn't matter if it is right or not, because I am not coming back anyway. As it turns out, this shirt was uncreased, as well. My problem with the whole situation is that this manger showed very little real concern for my situation. Yes, she apologized, but she could have done more. Like maybe taking the time to ensure that when they received my order, she PERSONALLY checked it to ensure it was done correctly. Especially, after I told here I was not going to come back if they didn't fix this problem. Even then, after me picking up this last shirt, she didn't even attempt to get me to reconsider not bringing my stuff here. Not saying I would or would not, but at least ATTEMPT to continue doing business whit a loyal customer of 4 years. And to make matters worse, she said something about them combining two stores orders, or some BS. Not my business. I don't care about that. I don't need to know about that. Not my problem. Don't make excuses. To me, she just did not show the kind of concern for her business that I would have expected. So, needless to say, I will not return there. read more

I needed a last minute clean and pressing of a new shirt...on Christmas Eve no less. The management went above and beyond in letting me know they could take care of me, even calling to make sure I made it in time. Not only that but the quality of work was perfect. I've used Tide Dry Cleaners for several years for my normal dry cleaning needs and while this is my first review, this is the kind of customer care and convenience that's come to characterize Tide's service. They ruined a new shirt. There was a drop of olive oil about the size of an small eraser tip. They ruined the shirt putting some type of chemical/ scrubbing out the color. Then they put a tag saying they could not get the spot out. Spot out ....you took the color out. When I asked about this they were rude and could care less. HORRIBLE PLACE read more

I asked for an estimate to clean a 3.5' x 6' rug. She then asked me to describe the size because she couldn't comprehend 3.5 x 6 . She had no square foot price chart, and then asked me the type of fabric. It shouldn't matter, the type of fabric. Square-foot is square foot. Then she seemed to guess and randomly gave me a price of $55. Too much $$$!!!! Next, I went to the other location on Tamiami Tr. He didn't know either, nor did he understand the measurements, so he called the other location. Of course she said that "That woman was just here. I told her $55." and I said "Yes, You charge too much money. In the end, I called a (chain) commercial carpet cleaner that charged $1.00 per sq. foot. and dropped of at their site, watched them do a fantastic cleaning job for LESS THAN HALF the price quoted by Same Day Cleaners! read more

Staff is lazy and not very friendly. I went in to pick up a few dress shirts and nobody was at the register. A lady in the back saw me and said nothing, went into the back, and came out to help me a minute later. I told her I had a pick up and her first response was that "the computers are down." I needed the shirts for work that night, she just didn't want to manually search for my clothing. I had also dropped of an alteration the week before, they told me to call back the following wednesday. I called back the following saturday around 10am to check if the order was ready and nobody answered the phone until my 4th time calling. The lady on the phone told me to call back around 4 because the computers were still down and she would have the alteration lady find my pants. Basically, she didn't want to look right then. This place blows. We chose it for the convenience/location to our home. Two very busy professionals, we don't have time to run around town every week. Especially during season when traffic SUCKS and one risks life and limb being on the road with the 150 year old drivers. The first few visits were ok... Then the trouble began. They have effectively ruined at least 3 of my boyfriends shirts. When he brought it the stain that "appeared" after having been serviced at this business, they took it back and "recleaned" for free. Yeah, came out looking the same with the same tea colored stain on the white sleeve. Not cool. Gave em another chance, because they INSISTED it must have been "there already".... After the next pick up they had re-sewn a button that had come loose. Great! ....But it was sewn back on crooked/not lining up with the button hole. The real kicker was the black marks that came back on a (very) expensive designer shirt. This time, my boyfriend called and insisted on speaking to the manager, but has not had any success. Also....seems he is missing a few white dress shirts. They insist we have picked up all the shirts but I'm not too sure. Oh well....guess we will look for another service.... this girl is not a fan of laundry or ironing. read more
