I recently found out my friend's daughter is a student there now. She and her little friend were wide-eyed when I told them that Miss Liz had been my teacher. I told their parents that the training and experience I received there has served me well every since, and it is very true. Far beyond dance and fitness, it cultivated posture, poise, confidence and yes, discipline, precision, attention to detail. I was never more than average as a ballet dancer, but the body awareness I learned there thanks to the Cecchetti method has helped me in every single physical pursuit I've made since, be it yoga, flying trapeze or skydiving--or just sitting properly at my desk or walking into a room with my head up. "Ask and your body will respond," instructor Paula said once in class. I have never forgotten this. At the time it was in reference to executing a triple pirouette--which seemed so daunting at the time--but it is amazing what your body can do if you simply ask it, and stop getting in your own way. DanceStation pushed me and it was a good thing. I appreciate the top-notch instruction I received there, and my two sisters do, too. Keep on doing what you do, DanceStation!

The space is welcoming, clean, and calming, and every class feels thoughtful and well-run. I've taken classes with Lisa, Rachel, and Janelle, and each of them has been fantastic in their own way. They are knowledgeable, encouraging, and great at cueing, with just the right balance of challenge and support. I always feel like I'm getting a safe, effective workout while still being pushed to grow stronger. Since starting here, I've noticed real improvements in my strength, posture, and overall mobility. What do you need?" it was extremely off putting and I ended up booking with a different studio, which is truly unfortunate since this one is closest to my home.

The teachers are great and they take their time with each kid to make sure they advance, they get to know every kid and push them to their limits. My son loves his Hip-Hop classes as well as his jazz and ballet (this one not so much :), come on is a 5, very active, year old boy, but he understands the importance of this class). This studio even gives the opportunity for kids to attend master classes and most important to be themselves. This place makes you feel like going to a relatives house, everybody know everybody by name, they take the time for the kids to connect to each other and build friendships outside of just dancing.

The workout classes vary between 45 minute isometric and 15 minute high intensity workouts. Jenn signed me up, with a one-time enrollment fee for the first month. Then the following monthly fee is $60. The facilities are clean with 9 saunas, each with adjustable temperatures.
