I was referred to Danielle, who made this process so easy. She knew what we wanted and guided us every step of the way. She was attentive and easy to get ahold of for any questions we had. Thank you again Rants Group!

Toxic mold pit and rude condescending management. Held my deposit from a housing department when…read morethey said it was clean when I left because of course I scrubbed it as much as I could so the next person wouldn't get as sick. There was mold coming out of the dishwasher, mold, coming out of the bathtub mold on the ceiling mold on the window ledges. The apartment was dirty when I moved in and contained toxic mold. The facility around it you have to deal with Planned Parenthood, which I didn't know about being in the same facility and protesters. Homeless people, jumping the fence in the back in the middle of the corridor so they can do their drugs on the bench out there and Sleep. A dead rat sat in the parking lot squished the whole time. I was there for six weeks. When they said they'd let me out of the lease due to the mold, took forever to get that money back. People need to be aware of how rude these people are that work there. Management was extremely rude. Did not want to work with the housing agency on returning the owed money. I'm not keeping this quiet anymore. I'm really tired of people taking advantage of the state assistance housing programs, as well. You guys have moldy Apts you do nothing about it. You throw a fit when someone says hey there's hypodermic needles back here. Obviously people jumped the fence doing drugs left the evidence. Big dog poop all over the place at the time I lived there. I've never been so stressed in my entire life. I would never ever rent from this very unprofessional, rude management company. They will take your money and they will do nothing when you need repair repairs done good luck! Make sure you run a mold kit before you rent any apartment near the water. It's been painted over doctored up. My esa cat has asthma from this whole situation. I would never recommend living here. I would give zero stars for the way they treated me like I was a piece of crap like I didn't matter. Like I did wrong when I rented a place asking for it to be cleaned not a toxic mold pit. As far as they know, someone moved in right away so they must have thought my cleaning was good enough for a toxic mold pit. Never again.

Yes, we…read moresigned the papers--It doesn't surprise me that he would try to rehash everything publicly rather than take some constructive criticism. I only intended to leave an honest review of our experience with IBA. I stand by my one-star review. As our broker, their job was to represent us and get us the best deal possible--not just push a deal through. The buyers already had their own agent. It became clear that closing the transaction quickly was the priority--not our best interests. That's not just poor service--it's unethical. Mortgage lenders need to know whether they're financing a home or a business. Blurring those lines to push a deal through isn't just questionable--it's potentially harmful. We were not properly represented, and we paid the price for it. I recently posted an honest review about my experience with IBA and noticed they still have a 5-star rating. I probably wouldn't have checked back--except I received a letter from an attorney representing IBA. Here's what it said: "They are chagrined that you posted an online review of IBA suggesting otherwise, and we demand that you remove the review you recently made of IBA NW Business Brokers on Google." To be clear, I shared a truthful account of my own personal experience. I did not name the broker involved, nor did I exaggerate any details. It was a simple, honest, one-star review summarizing what was, for me, a very disappointing experience. I don't appreciate being pressured to remove it. A company that can't accept fair criticism without resorting to legal threats raises serious concerns. There are many business brokers in the Northwest--I'd encourage others to do their research and choose one who values transparency and accountability. Original review: I recently worked with a broker from IBA to sell our business and home together, as the business operated on our property. My daughter and I had one chance to sell the small business we built and dedicated ourselves to for ten years, and unfortunately, we were met with disregard and a lack of respect throughout the entire process. The very first interested buyers ended up purchasing it. While it turned out to be a great deal for them, it was not in our best interest. We felt misled and unsupported from start to finish. If you're a small business owner, I would strongly caution against using this firm. In our experience, their practices were misleading and did not prioritize our needs as sellers.
