Purchased a shape toy for my grandson, it didn't work and they said it needed batteries. I washed to toy, removing the sticker; NOT KNOWING that I needed the sticker to return it. IT IS JUNK!!! Doesn't work even with new batteries. I called and they said even if I had the receipt, which I do, they will not take it back without the sticker. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. Kid To Kid is AWESOME! It's a second hand shop for kids and you can find really good clothes for super cheap! They have a baby section and clothes organized by gender and age with tons of options. While visiting Grand Rapids, our friends told us its the best kids store in town. We ended up buying a handful of like-new dresses, pajamas and even shoes for our four-year-old daughter. Kid to Kid is worth a stop and browse if you are looking for basics. Sometimes, particularly during sales, you can find some real deals. The selection is not as great as Once Upon A Child but the Kid to Kid store is cleaner, more easily navigable, and spacious. Their pricing, however, is terribly inconsistent. Way overpriced "designer" brand wear in the corner near the entry. Wait for those items to go on clearance! I did sell to them once and felt like they were overly picky and didn't provide a good cash-out on premium brands. Funny when you have like-new items rejected for being "not current" (3-4 years old with very little wear) while you discover stained, pilled Walmart brand leggings that would be sent to the rag/bulk bin at Goodwill for sale on their racks! read more

Skip buybuybaby and come here. You'll be surprised to find more than just clothes. I came here just to check out some of the toys but didn't buy any of them. I ended up getting a bunch of nursing shirts which I have been needing but telling myself it's not worth buying and spending so much on when the pandemic is keeping us mainly stay home where I can just be topless. But then... these prices here just drew me in AND I got most for 50% off. Meaning some of my shirts were as low as $1.50 with the 50% off deal and then as high as $12.99 for full price. My husband found some great outfits for our twins too. Typically I dislike him buying clothes for our kids because he tends to spend a lot and these babies grow so fast and poop on clothes anyway, it's not worth shopping so much when we have soooo many hand-me-downs. But with the prices here and clothes still in good shape, I couldn't say no. At check out, we learned that Monday's are maternity Monday's meaning you can get 15% off maternity items. Also for being new customers we got $5 off our entire purchase. Now I have a good number of nursing tops for so cheap, I'm so happy! read more

I've been here a total of 3 times now. I've purchased some items- they've all been good quality and fair priced. Some items are overpriced, but I just don't buy those. I also had my first selling experience here last week. I brought in over 40 items. They kept 11. I was paid 39.50. Meh. I was underwhelmed. I thought I picked really nice things to consign, but they selected only my top brands and left the others. If I'm in a pinch, I'll shop here again, but I think I'll consign elsewhere because it's a lot of effort for them to only keep 11 items. read more

I stopped here to sell some barely used winter baby clothes and it was not overwhelming where I cant find anything or get lost like I do at Once Upon a time! Lots of baby to kids size clothes, footwear, dancewear and even a small selection or maternity clothes. Most are of good quality, but some look kind of over used for my pickings, but priced relatively fairly for what you get and helpful I'm sure for those with tight budgets. You can get brand new items at regular retail stores on sale for less than some used clothes stores I find though. They do sell new items too. Cash or store credit for clothes/kid items like toys, booster seats, strollers etc. which is nice and better than consignment stores or dealing with Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. I prefer to donate than deal with the latter two for anything they don't buy. Great customer service. My wife and I tried to take a large amount of clothes here, before they opened; as they advertised that they 'needed to stock their shelves / inventory'. They didn't want 90% of the clothes. None of the clothes had rips/tears/stains. But they weren't in 'pristine' condition. And this is a USED clothing store for kids. Not coming back. read more

I hate nothing more then walking into a business and not be greeted... you had 2 girls at the counter that turned around and looked me when I walked in but couldn't have the common courtesy to greet your customers but i thought id still take a look anyways.. the prices are extremely over priced. I had been coming here since before they opened (when they were stocking up before grand opening) and it was great customer service, very polite. I continued going and everything still fine. But the last few times i have gone it hasn't been so great. Theres a lady with long brunette hair working there, that just has a snotty look on her face, and just ruins the vibe while shopping/selling. The last time i was there i took a bag full of clothes and shoes, I drop it off as usual. I get a call back an hour later and a lady with an attitude is telling me that she can't take my stuff because its not organized with its suited pair...... so i have to pick it up and properly organized it in order to sell... they're interested in my stuff but just not in the order it was given .... I've always brought my items in the same way and have never had an issue like today's.... i will not be returning to this establishment from now on and would strictly recommend improving your customer service and way of approaching customers read more
