Our family had a wonderful experience at Kit Cuts. We have an 8, 5, and 17 month old all in need of a haircuts and called to see if they did same day appointments-- they do not. They're first come, first serve. We got there just before 5 and there were two stylists working on clients. We added our kids to the waiting list with two patrons ahead of us and waited about 25-30 minutes. DeeDee worked on our boys (8 and 16 months) and Sandy gave our girl the cutest bob with side-swept bangs (our daughter's choice). All 3 cuts turned out better than expected. Our youngest even got a certificate for it being his first haircut. Both stylists were patient and paid great attention to detail. Will definitely be returning. read more

This is the rudest shop ever. i came here today and because my daughter who is 3 years old didnt have a mask they wouldn't help us. told us we needed to buy her a mask for $3.00 and then they would cut her hair. Great haircut but not a very pleasant experience. To sum it up I don't think my toddler will want to get a hair cut again. Not sure if it was a language barrier or my child but she hardly talked to us, cut his ear and wasn't super patient despite there being no one behind us. Was probably the most stressful haircut I've had with my 2.5 year old, I'd recommend meridian kids over this place. Both women in there had screaming kids in their chairs before us, they both didn't really seem to have child type personalities off the interactions while we were there. Just from the second we walked in and didn't get acknowledged to checking out and having her watch my tip amount, was not very pleasant. Will not return. This was our first time at kids cuts and were not disappointed! It was extremely clean and the ladies were excellent with our kids. Our daughter was very nervous and started by having to sit on my husband's lap to have her bangs cut. Had Dao cut my kids hair this morning. Dao was super nice and patient with all my 3 kids specially with my 2 year old that was crying because he was scared of getting a hair cut, also was his first hair cut. I totally recommend her service Dao was friendly and understanding. She gave us a punch card and she explained that after the 10th cut you get a free cut. I understand that places like this get busy but they need to work on their scheduling & time efficiency. We showed up today at 10:54 AM and there were FIVE children ahead of us plus TWO kids getting their hair cuts but only TWO people to cut hair. By 11:35 they finished the two kids currently getting their hair cut and just started two more. So we would have been there AT LEAST another hour and a half. That's impossible to expect children to wait over two hours to get their hair cut. Not to mention, no one acknowledged us the entire time! No "sorry for the wait" or "thank you for your patience". The place also smelled like food. Yuck. We used to come here often when Lucy worked here and they were a lot quicker & friendlier. Such a bummer. read more

The most amazing place for a child to get a haircut. My so. Usually screams at the top of his lungs when I cut his hair. I had been dreading it for almost 6 months. Yesterday I had finally had enough of my sons mop top and brought him in to Kids Cuts. I was please with the waiting area. Many toys to keep a kid busy for an hour or 2. Once we got called back my son had several different options of cool vehicles to get his hair cut in. He chose the race at of course. He stayed perfectly still and the staff treated him great. The haircut turned out amazing and they were very patient. The prices are so good that you cannot refuse. I highly recommend and I will be bringing my son back in a few months. read more

I was satisfied with the cut itself but we did have to wait pretty long. I normally wouldn't care too much about waiting but I guess I expected maybe some toys of some kind for a specialty kid's place. There was literally nothing but an open waiting area with benches. After a looong quarantine my two boys (age 4 and 2) were desperate for a cut. We love coming here and it was comforting to see them taking precautions to keep customers safe. Masks were worn by all employees and recommended for guests. If your little one can stand to wear it the entire time, excellent, but I don't think it's a deal breaker. There was ample hand sanitizer available and chairs were disinfected between customers. If anyone is hesitant at all to come out for a cut I assure you they make it feel very comfortable. I took my nephew to get his hair cut and the older white lady was so rude and awful to my nephew I will never take him there again. He has autism and she told him to listen and I told her that he has autism and she said oh and was still rude to him. I am a hairdresser and I would never treat a child like that when you work in a kids hair salon or a client like that. We had a good experience here for our son's haircut. It was our first time here and came in today at 10am (Friday) and there are already 4 kids ahead of us. The great thing is, there are 3 hair stylists too! So we didn't have to wait much longer. Our DS was also busy playing with the toys in the waiting area. Chi was the one who did our son's haircut. She was very patient with my son because he was wiggly and cried a little too. I saw that the other 2 stylists were patient too with the kids. I'm giving 2 stars because the waiting area is good to keep kids entertained until it's their turn. We went there about 8 months ago. My son was around 14 months old. It was a terrible experience. The people that work there were very rushed to get all the kids through. It was my son's first time getting a cut. They had him sit on my husband's lap. My son was very apprehensive about the whole thing. The lady was pushing my son's head into my husband and forcing him to stay there so she could use the clippers. He was very wiggly, which is understandable, but she never tried to call him or stop so he could see what she was doing. So he was screaming the whole time and she just kept going. For the price they charge they should be more patient with the little ones. It took a long time to get the courage up to take him again to get a cut. I will never go back here again. read more

Came in yesterday at 10:00am waited about 30 minutes. 2 other moms with 2 children each. Slowly more and more people started showing up. On a friday morning I would hope for more stylists. The toy area is out dated, toys didnt look very clean but at the end of the visit my son looked good and got a really good haircut. Frim the looks of it seemed pretty clean for a kids haircut place. The woman was very good with my son!!! 18+ dollars for a haircut is a little ridiculous but.. I guess you can charge that much and people will still come back. Well come back for sure. read more

I think the shop is great, beautiful chairs for kids and a play area, but i almost feel they're over charging for that very reason. Tons of toys in the waiting area, "vehicles" to sit in during the haircut, and TV's at each station to distract the kids if needed. 30 minute wait on a Saturday at 11 AM. It's been a month but I had to review because I continue to get compliments on my daughters hair from strangers and friends alike. We were here a month ago for my daughter's first real (not mom) haircut. Dee Dee did an AMAZING job. Stick straight hair isn't very forgiving for a stylist working on a wiggly 19 month old but she magically cut an adorable bob that was even stacked in the back. It's growing out beautifully and other moms are constantly asking me who cut her hair and where. Dee Dee did a great job of keeping up with my toddler's short attention span and cutting quickly and precisely. They have lots of toys on hand. Wish we lived closer!
