The 2nd location (Trail Dr) is a little smaller but has most of the amenities and more (5 tennis courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, 2 racquetball courts, a sand volleyball court, a miniature golf course, and a children's play area and daycare). Therefore, patience is needed to gain membership at SRSRC. the resident membership waiting period is about 2-3 years.

She should never teach swim to ANY child. There is absolutely no instructor half of the time and the people that do arrive seem to be busy on their cell phones. Mama Bear Vent... I…read morewas looking into summer camp for my boys. I called Outpost thinking an outdoor camp would be fun for them. I spoke to Sam (4/11/2024) and inquired about inclusion programs and what supports they had for autistic children. Here's how that went: Oh, I'm sorry, we don't have inclusion programs. If your child is autistic, they just won't fit in with us. We don't offer aides. If your child cannot follow instructions, they won't do well. I get it - it may be hard for the kids to follow instructions. Ok, what if I hire an aide for them? No - we've had aides in the past and they just get in the way of the child learning and it makes them stand out too much. In 19 years of parenting 3 children on the spectrum, have I EVER come across someone who would talk to parents and about kids like this. This is NOT a summer camp that requires skills. Hiking, forts, mud and exploration are our foundational principles is what is says on their website. Funny that they would say: *It is important to us to be inclusive. We invite our non-binary and transgender campers to select whichever program would fit them best - Day Camp Girls or Day Camp Boys. To each their own, but I would STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

My 7-year-old daughter has been attending classes and summer camps here for over two years, and…read moreit's the one extracurricular activity she always wants to keep in her schedule. She adores her teachers and feels so proud of her artwork, which we display on our dining room wall and love showing to our guests. Jaci, the owner, is wonderful: always quick to respond to questions and very accommodating with schedule conflicts. We were thrilled to see our daughter's artwork displayed at the SD County Fair through Drawn2Art. Thank you, Jaci and team, for helping her build confidence and express herself through art!

Art is beyond creativity. Drawn2Art offers more complex services than drawing on paper or painting…read moreon a canvas. Ask them about the array of services. Sometimes art is about cultivating the virtuoso-ist within. Parents woo at the abstract art from their little ones with a sparkle in their eye. Educators strive to balance right brain and left brain. Even aficionados need to fine-tune their artistic skills. Wherever you define the art continuum, Drawn2Art can meet your needs. My 60+ mother took the weekly class for a month when she visited out of state and she's naturally talented. My 10 yr old has been in weekly classes for 1.5 years and her skills and knowledge improve every week. The benefits of a structured art business, is... It's structured. Every student takes an art assessment for each level. Maybe the student is a beginner, maybe not. Students start their learning at their skill range. Drawn2Art capitalizes on each students strength. Students learn the basic fundamentals of colors, blends, acrylics, shading, pencil, portrait and more. The best value for you money is the 1.5 hour class and pay the monthly fee which is basically $40 bucks or less a class for art skillful training. Every week the student progresses, when the picture is done, the picture comes home. Precision, accuracy and knowledge are the take-aways. Not just ohhs and aaahs. No matter the age, a student is a student. A talented student is welcomed. An exploring talent is welcomed. It's like art therapy without talking. The goal is up to the student with teacher guidance in a structured environment at the student's pace. What's cool is that is you only compete against yourself and you leave encouraged after each class. The only drawback is more often than not, class ends almost 10 minutes prior to the actual end time. On the other, hand camps and holiday classes are ALWAYS offered for focused specialty areas (anime, clay, 3D etc). The owner is professional, uses various effective modes of communication, and works hard to accommodate the consumer. If art is a "maybe" in your consideration then Drawn2Art is a "yes."

As soon as we got there, there was no introduction no review of rules or expectations. They brought all the kids in this small room with shiny equipment and they had no plan as to what they were going to do for the time. It was so chaotic and unorganized. The teacher had little to no energy and clueless as to how to grab little one's attention and then the manager walked in pissed off and was so unprofessional I would not trust my kids with them. It's such a shame because the place is actually really nice. We got to great pictures at least! Too bad they missed out on 3 student's enrollment.

He has always had a passion for music and the SOR family has helped him really learn and grow. Everyone from the owner, staff, instructors, and students are great. They really care about their students, music, culture, and overall community. SOR Scripps Ranch provides a safe, welcoming, caring environment for all their students. The opportunities available to the students over the years we have been there have been amazing. They have even performed at such iconic places as the Whiskey a Go-Go in LA, House of Blues in Anaheim, and the Hard Rock Café on the strip in Las Vegas to name a few. Steve and the staff have had a huge part in preparing our son for his college auditions and interviews. Programs such as House Band really helps prepare these young musicians for their future. The show groups are great as well, there is a real sense of teamwork between the instructors and students. It can be nerve racking for most to get up in front of a group of people (large or small) and not only perform but to answer questions being thrown your way. So thankful for everyone at School of Rock Scripps Ranch and proud to be part of the SOR family.
