WORST place! Omg. I ordered an Irish trashcan after craving one all day, and it came and was so nasty I couldn't even drink it or return it. Then I ordered a draft beer. After ten mins I finally got my beer and the glass was dirty. Then my boyfriends shot was weak/watered down, and the shot glass was broken!! What a low budget, low rent, horrible place! Sat and watched waitress outside with 2 other waitresses laughing and talking to what Im guessing were friends and playing on cell phone. Ten minutes later..still no appetizer but here comes main entree. Told waitress that brought food we had ordered appetizer and said she would check on. Never heard back from her. Bottom line, we never complained but was visited by manager and she compd the meal at no request of us. Waitress then came up and apologized which we did appreciate. Kickback jacks in asheboro nc had their opening debut yesterday , by. The Time I arrived the place wasn't busy at all , which was around 8 pm . I was seated promptly my soda arrived shortly after that, I place an order for the 10 oz steak medium. Surprisingly with an army of wait staff ,bartenders and between 5 and 6 mangers on hand there was absolutely no Interaction with anyone not even a hello from the time I placed my order until I got my food. Most of the wait staff was too preoccupied with chatting with their friends to do much actual work, I couldn't even pick out who was my waitress in a line up ! My steak arrived it was not the medium I requested but rather over cooked on the outside and blood raw inside! The best part of my meal was the over baked potato . The management was apologetic and took care of my bill ........that wasn't what I intended I would love to have this place improve greatly , Asheboro needs this restaurant to succeed . We will see if anything changes tonight when I try again. read more

I come in every week anywhere From 1-3 times a weeks. I have gotten a pitcher of beer with my brother everytime so therefore most of the employees Have served us alcohol but this evening when we came in When asked for id i showed a photo proof drivers license (non-expired) And they didn't accept it. Then I even went as far as to show proof of when I was in the military in 2015. (6 years ago and you have to be 18 to join). 18+6 in 24 last time I checked and what do you know that's my freaking age. So tell me why these morons wouldn't sell me my evening beer with my dinner. I decided to try this place for lunch one day, I got take out. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. I didn't really check it before I left, the lady showed me but it was dark and she said buffalo as she read my order so I didn't think much of it. When I got back to work I took a bite out of it and it tasted nothing like buffalo, it tasted like honey BBQ, which I hate. I checked the order, sure enough it said Honey BBQ sandwich. The lady read me back buffalo, which is what I ordered, and my idiot self believed her. I called to complain and they said they wouldn't do anything to fix it since I left with it and my bill said Honey BBQ. I said I left with it because their lady said it was buffalo and it was to dark in the corner to even see the color of the chicken. I was here on a business trip we had about 20 in our party service was good they set us all in the perfect spot right outside it was good food. We had three servers waiting on our group We didn't tell the restaurant that we were bringing a large group they the staff was so nice and our food came out like clockwork. ribs were totally perfect. A "Your Mileage May Vary" restaurant and bar. I've been here couple times with friends and have had vastly different experiences. Servers and bartenders may act like they care or leave you to wonder if they still work there. Food can be average bar fare, or be greasy ballpark food. I've had both. They have seasonal menu specials. I had one of those menu items and it was ok one night, and one week later extremely under-seasoned and greasy. One star for horrible consistency of food and service. We went to try this place last night because every time we past it is always busy. The food was good. The wings are really tasty. So was the buffalo chicken wrap. The waitress was great and very friendly. There was no wait which was great. However do not order the steak because they do not know how to cook it right. Plus never send anything back because when you get the "corrected thing" it is so over seasoned you can not even eat it. This happened to my husband last night. The manager did not even come back to check to see if everything was alright or discount anything on our bill. This was our first time and might give it another shot just because of the food/service. Came here recently with a party of 7. We asked at the beginning if we could run 2 separate checks, one for drinks, one for food. Service was slow and sloppy (spilled a drink in my daughter's seat, luckily she was not in it). Food was pretty good. My burger was not quite medium like I ordered it, but not rare enough to send back. It tasted good- nobody had any complaints about the quality of their food. At the end of the meal, the waitress came out with only one check and handed it to the person who we were trying to treat to dinner instead of the 2 people who were supposed to split the check. read more

***Terrible Service*** We were greeted by a very welcoming hostess who sat us at a patio table and cordially offered a sling seat for our infant.....and that's where our enjoyment came to an end. Twice we were passed up by our server who greeted and took care of 2 tables which were sat after us (we were literally the 1st table as your u entered the patio area) after 20 min my wife walked over to the host stand were there were 4 other servers jus chatting to make them aware that we were waiting to be served. The Manager on duty caught wind of it and unenthusiastically attempted to apologize and quickly offered an appetizer of the house (which by the way never materialized). Our server finally made it over and took both our drink and meal order. Not only was my wing order the wrong flavor as well as I paid extra to have just flats and they were mixed but to add insult to injury I was charged extra for a side of the flavor I actually ordered. Now I get it in the grand scheme of things this isn't the end of the world but when you pay for something you should at least get what you ask for. I tipped 22% percent because I really wasn't upset with the server (she was young, perhaps inexperienced and maybe was just having a bad night) but what really upset me was the fact that the Manager never came back to check on us. Everything could have simply been resolved with a heartfelt apology, a "we appreciate you business" or just an acknowledgement of the situation. I don't need a free this or that, I don't believe in stiffing the server who doesn't even get paid minimum wage for a very hard job but I do expect good service. When dining out with my wife and 2 small children we expect to get what we pay for and that again is service but unfortunately this place exceeded at being terrible! read more

I sat there with my mouth open at the stupidity. I have been a server before and am typically very forgiving and also aware of things outside their control. It is well within the control of a server to actually listen to their customer though. The waitresses seemed to work hard and be engaging to their customers at the tables but the bartenders were just not all there. It took us forever to get our food. They messed up our order and our fries were burnt and our burger was dry and the pasta was not cooked all the way threw and not enough pasta sauce. The waitress took a long time to come and take our order and it took very long to get our order. And our order didn't come out together or at least close together. This was probably the worst experience we had while traveling this week. While the food was okay they would not adjust our bill when we requested after receiving hot overpriced wine. Seriously it wasn't worth it to them to credit us 9$. When I spoke to the manager she refused and said she didn't care if we gave them a bad review. I've worked in sales and service all my life and really can't think of a time when taking 9$ off a bill (90$ bill) was that big a deal. Then our waitress who was very sweet and kind during this whole experience came out in tears and informed us she'd been fired. Not because of us complaining but because of her service to customers - which she seriously couldn't have been sweeter and more attentive. Food came out fast and was well below average. Literally over half of my fries were fingernail size from the bottom of the basket. Then the waitress runs my card for $26 for another table plus mine and told the funds would be back in a couple days. With "at least I told you" and "I'm really cute." My daughter came from Ct with grandkids last month and stayed at Hampton next door I said great you can walk to Kickback Jacks . We met them there once and had great food and service. After that they wanted to go there again before they left so we did 4 adults and 2 toddlers all had another good experience.I have been there many times and never a bad meal or service. read more
