One of the more favorable Kickback Jack's I've been to. Nice and clean. Food was good and they had all the games on with sound.

Stopped in on our way to South Carolina. Never been to a kickback jacks before. Reminds me of a Jeremiah's or Tully's etc from Rochester. Spinach and artichoke dip was delicious. Fair amount of choices on the menu. Service was friendly and she came back often to check on us. We were initially told our wait would be 30-35 minutes and our table was ready in 3 minutes. Quick place to stop for food. Walking distance from the hotel we stayed at.

Used to live in Asheboro & I remember loving the grilled chicken wings with the sweet Thai chili sauce. So that's what I ordered. It's still number one in my book! Now, at first they got my order wrong. Instead of grilled they brought it out fried. Had to return them. Then, they brought it out with drumsticks instead of all flats like I had ordered (it's $3 extra). I didn't mind accepting them because I had to wait a while for the first and second batch and I didn't want to wait again. The waitress insisted on taking them back to make it right. I ended up with extra wings on the house! So that was super nice of her! Other than my wings, we had ordered the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls as our appetizer. Crispy outside texture with a good amount of ground beef oozing with cheese! It was fantastic. My fiancé thought it had a heavy onion taste to it, but I didn't seem to notice. He ordered the firehouse burger. It had fried jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. If you love spicy food, this is a great choice! It may not be as spicy as one would hope, but it has a good flavor. Even though they got my order wrong, they made it right & gave us extras. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

If someone had told me you're walking into NC's family friendly equivalent of Applebees, I probably would have kept walking. That being said, I had no idea what the food might be like at this restaurant next two the major hotels in Asheboro and gave it a try. As it was 7 p.m., I didn't want to make a big production for dinner. Post meal, however, I trudged back to my hotel knowing I could have done better. The steak was barely seasoned Select grade, wings were average, wine mediocre...even the loaded mashed potatoes lacked excitement. While this foodie may not jump at the chance to return, Kickback Jack's, it IS a hopping place for families! If your group is looking for a venue whose menu appeals to everyone, this is a great place to dine. A solo business traveler, looking for the one thing that makes life on the road fun--hard pass.

Stopped into grab a bite to eat after traveling all day. It was across the street from our hotel. They put us on a list and sent us text when our table was ready. They said about a 15 minute wait but it was more like 5 minutes. It has a sports bar atmosphere, lots of TVs and it was quite loud when the tables were full diners. Our waitress was pleasant. Food was good. Average sports bar quality. The only downfall was that service seemed slow after our food was served. Waitress seemed to be missing. Would definitely go back again.

New Orleans Pasta!!

I've been to this restaurant before and have enjoyed my dinner but this time I was super pleased with my New Orleans Pasta dinner. It's was amazing! Lots of chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage with corkscrew pasta and the sauce was perfect on it! Not too spicy but flavorful. (For $13 it was a bargain). Plus enough left for lunch the next day. The whole group of five enjoyed their dinner, too. Chicken and broccoli pasta, seafood platter, chicken fingers and the tallest mushroom 'n Swiss burger I've ever seen. It was a stretch but he got his mouth around it! Our server was attentive and helpful. Monday night Wild Card game was on the tv but the sound was down so the room wasn't noisy. We could actually talk to each other! Restrooms were clean. What more can you ask! Wish I came by here more often. This would be my "go to" spot!

Waitress is very nice, but food is so so. One thing is my first time to see " Fry with peel".

This is a great place to watch sports with TVs everywhere. The food is good. The service is slow and that's what cost them an extra star.

The place has a very interesting and quirky vibe. I really loved all the pig art and sports decor around the place. They also have a few TVs so it was nice to have a chance to catch up and watch some NFL games. I love trying random things and have never heard of fish dogs before so I had to try those. Overall it was really good. I love the sauce that it came with and the fish was very crispy. The buns could've been a little bit softer but it wasn't a deal breaker. The seasoned fries also had a really good cajun seasoning on them. The only thing better than the food was the service. Out server was also pretty quirky in the best way possible. She had a very happy and welcoming vibe. She was extremely nice and attentive throughout the meal and made sure we had everything we needed.

From the moment we sat down, Kat brought a level of energy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality that completely elevated our experience. She doesn't just "take orders"--she reads the room, anticipates needs before you even realize them, and makes every guest feel like a VIP. It's a rare skill, and she has it in spades. Her drink recommendations were spot-on--thoughtful, tailored, and clearly backed by real knowledge of her craft. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every detail, from presentation to taste. Even during busy moments, she never seemed rushed or overwhelmed--just focused, friendly, and completely in control. What stood out most, though, was her attitude. Kat has that natural ability to connect with people--warm, personable, and effortlessly engaging without ever being overbearing. It's the kind of service that turns a good night out into a memorable one. Management should know: Kat isn't just doing her job--she's setting a standard. Employees like her are the reason customers come back and recommend a place to others. Give that woman the recognition she deserves.
