I went to this place expecting one of my favorite Vietnamese spots so was disappointed to see they were gone (as has been the case unfortunately with so many of my favorite restaurants). I saw they had a similar offering with an addition of Asian Fusion. After taking a couple of days & getting over my disappointment, decided to give Khanh a try. They are a couple of minutes walk from Triangeln station
The set-up is very similar to the previous restaurant. A smaller cozy dining area. They had Pho, Ramen, Panko fried, Fried Rice & Dumpling offerings. Duck and Steak as protein options were a plus.
Ordered the Mamma Bao Buns as appetizer but these could be a meal. Got them with marinated Duck which was tender and tasty. Overstuffed with a plethora of fresh veggies, chili mayo & Bao sauce, this is a fork/knife Bao.
For main, decided to try the Banh Mi. Went with the Panko fried chicken. A substantial sandwich. 1/2 was enough. Lightly fried chicken & filled with veggies & the Soy Sriracha and Khanh sauce taking it over the top. Added the eggs which are a must. Only thing missing was Pate which I suggested.
Orders are placed at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Semi busy a little after 7 on a Tuesday. Note that they close at 8 M-F.
Friendly people at the counter and some aspects remind me of Nois. Looking forward to returning and trying the rest of there Fusion offerings! read more
