I mean you can get a "tude" if you let them, but I've been working in a health care office environment for years and I know how to "shut it down". Repeat their rudeness in earshot and they will change their tune immediately, because as we all know, EVERYBODY is listening : ) no matter how "busy" people look. I went to the Doctor first, then the PA on my follow up. I liked both, but my doctor seemed disinterested in truly finding a reason for my ailment. I came because I was sick, and I got the impression she did not care/have empathy for my ailments. It is true, you will wait a good bit when visiting, but I think that is the norm with Providers nowadays. But the lobby was empty!! How can they not be ready to see me. Let alone the wait once you are inside the room. Remember, you can walk out and office cannot charge if the provider has not stepped in the room. You must stop at the desk and tell them clearly you are leaving, you don't have to give an explanation because of HIPPA but they cannot charge. It is reasonable to wait 15min but NOT an hour ++. Next visit I went to the P.A. and I was happy. I will continue to use this office for my care because it is very clean & neat. I just wish someone would water the plant in the waiting room...geez.

I became a patient of his recently after retiring and not having had a personal doctor for many years due to 12 hour night shifts. He was recommended to me by another doctor I've known for 30+ years. He's a soft spoken but deeply attentive, efficacious physician and a great listener and very considerate of his patients. I think his staff are most considerate and courteous and deeply committed to him, his patients, the practice and its success. I would highly recommend him.

Within two months he had surgery at INOVA Fairfax to replace his valve and he's doing great.
