** WARNING ** DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT be lured in by their £19.99 MOT because that will be your first mistake. My 'MOT' cost me £885!! They kept my car for two weeks, it was driven every other day. They told lie after lie about them working on it stating it was in the garage being worked on when, in fact fact my tracker showed it had been parked 2 streets away for 3 days. The receptionist was a sneering insolent individual who just just shouts over any challenge made about their supposed service. She was THEE most OBNOXIOUS individual I have had to deal with in a long time. Making cheeky comments and talking over me. I gave up trying to find anything out. When I finally got my car back, I found the paint work on my front bumper has been scratched off, but there would be absolutely no point in contacting them as they would just lie, again. We never chose this garage to service our car it was allocated here under the umbrella company Servicing Stop, they lure you in with cheap prices then grab you by the balls and hold you and your family to ransom. read more

Totally ripped off me and my husband, let me see the problem, although I didn't know what I was looking at, and continued to do more work that I couldn't afford without consulting me. After the first time this happened, he continued to carry out expensive repairs without consulting me and after had specifically asked that I was consulted. I did not have a chance to call another garage about the repairs for a quote. My husband took his car in wary of my experience with my car, and asked for no work to be taken out until consulted. He listened to him, for some reason, and came back with an excessive quote. He rang several other garages for quotes, all coming back at least a third cheaper, we saved hundreds of pounds going somewhere else with the second vehicle. read more

Got my car back from this garage after using servicing stop to get my service and mot done during Covid 19 ,,never again , the car was fine when it went in but after disgruntly paying through the roof (excuse the pun) to get my car back from the garage, I was lucky I never had a serious accident as the car s driving seat wheel only had 1 out 4 locking nuts secured tight and according to Kwik fit (who were excellent ) they also used the wrong grease for the nuts , absolutely out of order and trading standards will be getting contacted ,please avoid for your own safety ‼‼‼ read more

Avoid this garage! Naturally I was lured by the attractive £20 MOT, but the problems began very quickly. After doing the MOT test the garage informed me that 2 bushes on the rear axle needed to be replaced. While frustrating, it was a job that needed to be done. Apparently they ordered these parts but had me waiting weeks and weeks before the parts actually arrived (not sure when they really ordered them). In the meantime I had left the country for work and wanted to be updated as soon as there was any development with the car. Never got any phone calls - every time new information or updates were available, I only heard about it because I called them myself. No initiative with customer service! Eventually they went to replace the bushes and found out they are incorrect for the car. Subaru no longer offers the parts, but this should have been better researched! I took my car to them thinking they would handle it as experts, but Khan was only slow and careless. They insulted my wife on the phone, never emailed any pricing, photographs, quotes (as promised!) and gave me different amounts nearly every phone call (I should also say that if they want to be understood they should not mumble into the phone ). It was very unpleasant dealing with them, and unbelievably the whole repair took 2 months! That is completely insane - the situation could have been clarified earlier if Khan autos had shown some initiative when handling my car. Never going back and I pity the poor people that think it's a good deal. NOT a good deal, just a cheap atmosphere all around - no customer courtesy - and the whole place feels a little shady. I could go on, but let's just say it was an awful experience and I am posting this so people do not make the same mistake I did. DON'T DO IT! read more

Went to do the MOT test for my 3 year old car and wasn't expecting it to have any issues as it's a new car and not too much driven (less than 20,000 miles). However, Khan Autos made a big deal that it had exhaust emits at an excessive level. Went to another place on the same day and the car passed the MOT test no problem. I would NEVER GO BACK to Khan Autos to get a professional MOT test of my car. The staff were unwelcoming and the service was not great so wouldn't go back to them. They provide you with a cheap initial rate to only then find extra ways to empty your pockets.Also, there seemed to be some dodgy tax evasion activity going on with their business. I would definitely give it zero stars if i could. WORSE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR FOR AN MOT TEST!!!! read more

If you know little or nothing about cars, keep clear of Khan Autos. They are total rip offs. They will deceive you and charge you ridiculous amounts for doing nothing. Staff is the rudest, they do not care for you or for your property. They made me wait 3 hours for a job which took less than two minutes to do. Kept on claiming they were busy when their staff was taking regular ten minute fag breaks. Please shop around and get quotes before deciding which garage to use. read more

Hi, I had booked in for an mot and car service. And ended up with a massive bill. They really padded out my bill, took 2 days to complete the work. Lied on the phone as to when it would be completed.Also the female "receptionist" had no customer service skills at all. Staff were dour and surly and I would advise anyone else to not to go near this place.They pull you in on a cheap MOT and then rip you off on the faults they "find" and charge you a fortune. Ripped off to the tune of several hundred pounds. I will never ever go here again. Also on other sites you see fake reviews written by their family and friends praising them. I was attracted to the great price and while you wait mot. My car was serviced by the brands dealer so I expected no faults. The staff took my personal details. I arrived at 9.55am on a Saturday morning. I was left to wait in an area with a TV but switched off. The mot inspector started the inspection at 10.57am. I moved to the inspection area. I was most surprised at his arm movments at the area under the drivers footwell. Constant and relentless arm jabbing. I also clearly observed the car flopping about like a slipper on the machine he had shaking the front of the car. When he saw me looking horrified he stopped and put chuck blocks at the two rear wheels. Car failed on damaged front rubber bushels . I was most surprised. I .....head down.... paid and went to another non franchised dealer who charged me for replacing both front rubber bushels which had clear cut marks. And very clear chalk marks on the underside of my car done by khan autos.And I had to pay for an mot pass cert.I could and would not take my car back to Khans after what I saw them doing. The other garage were kind enough to volunteer to allow me to see the damage because the mechanic said he had not seen this type of damage before.The bushels did look their age but the clear linear cut marks were odd looking to any soul. They were clearly damaged because of the unexpected linear cuts. I found it comical the person who took all my personal details at Khan autos beckoned me by shouting the brand and model and fuel type of my car.I left when they drove my car out at 12.17pm for me to collect. ...hardly while u wait in comparison to others. They also had my details so invited me for another low cost mot after 12 months.I declined thier "personal invitation" Iv never had such an expensive experience in my dealings with a garage cos Im 48 and owned a car since 1 Was 18. hope you and your car have a better experience with a garage where genuine people tell the truth about thier experience. My car was so poorly treated & came out worse than it went in. They had not done all the work they said they had & had to go elsewhere to get what they had done redone as it was wrong. Biggest con & am so upset as I had saved up this money to get the work done & am now in debt because had to pay another garage to sort out the mess they caused. Car came out with dents and a big chip out the paint too. Am tired of fighting with them. Once they have your money they dont care. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Have used Khan's for a number of years now for mots and they are absolutely first class . I have an old 480 volvo and they have been 100% accurate in the identification of faults . The staff are friendly and I have personally recommended them to a number of my friends and colleagues who have all been satisfied with both the service and cost. read more

SERIOUSLY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.had mot and knew my handbrake needed tightened,(megane scenic.o2)they said i needed a new cable and took two days to get one apparently,was originally quoted £150 ,then next two days was told when fixed £170.went to the garage was told £200.waited 25 minutes to be seen as they were all standing about talking yet would greet other asians minute they walked in the door.they put my receipt and mot in envelope and turns out it was a basic receipt which said WORK DONE £200.bill wasn't broken down or anything,my handbrake failed three days later,took it to renault and they said all they did was stretch the cable,wasn't new at all.i went back to khans and kicked up hell,left car to be fixed but they insisted was a new cable,got it finally sorted AGAIN but was told if it fails again i would have to pay for it.never use this garage,they should be investigated, one final thing,they also lost my centre wheelnut cover saying it wasn't on when i came in,complete bullshit cos they were really hard to come off and i distinctly remember seeing them all on when i walked around the car before leaving garage. read more
