The immigrant/refugee population I worked with in this area was primarily Somali, and while they're still here in large numbers, it appears Columbus has also opened its doors to a large number of Nepali refugees as well. Their food seems to be a wonderful mix of their geography and history...a delicious mix of Indian and Chinese. I sampled the delicious momo dumplings (veggie) which came with an interesting tomato-based sauce and a smaller sized plate of samosa chaat. Reasonable prices, wonderful flavors, and great service... Our family ordered four meals for carryout tonight. Mine was way too spicy to eat and the ones that were supposed to be medium hot were hotter than the surface of the sun. My family has ordered a few times since but I never get anything, until today. But this will be the last time. I cannot tolerate a chef who is makes the food to his preferences no matter how you request it. I did call and explain what happened and the lady offered to remake mine but no one was eager to go back out in a rainstorm when it was likely that the chef would disregard our preferences again. This is obviously a pattern with them, like a chef who likes his steak very rare so he refuses to cook it any other way. But if you like your food nuclear hot, it's a good choice.
