Great experience here with last minute alterations! Perfection and done with extreme precision!

Overpriced and dishonest. My teenage daughter was charged almost $200 to have a dress taken up 2 inches. I had her walk back in after realizing how ridiculous that was, take the dress back and requested a refund. We were never refunded. I called multiple times and all they said was that they did refund me (it had been over a week at this point with no refund). I've spent the last 2 hours on the phone with chase trying to dispute the charge. Very upsetting to rip off a young girl, and then lie about refunding the money. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Great place. I took 5 pieces of clothing to be altered and they were so attentive to detail and got it right. I like very much te heir location and will definitely be back! read more

Ok folks. THE best at his craft. I've had many a tailor over 5 decades but Ray tops them all. Convenient, responsive and timely. He mentioned he may be moving to another state so in the meantime he's here for all your tailoring needs! You're the best Ray. God Bless John 3:16 read more

Sometimes you must write a review. I forgot I had a dress tailored for an upcoming trip, I called right at closing time (on a Saturday) and Ray literally stayed and ran the dress down to me!!! I greatly appreciate the generosity of his time and extra effort! Thank you!!! read more

Very disappointing experience. Totally unreliable. Hours told they were open were incorrect. Almost caused me to miss a very important meeting. Also hours posted inside and outside the store are different and not correct. I waited outside the store and two other customers walked away as they were confused as well as the store wasn't open. Please get it together! How difficult is it to stick with a schedule and have the correct hours of your business posted???? Just lost a customer. read more

Khai Le's Alterations - They're not on time! 26 minutes late and shop still not open!!! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Miami Beach, Florida

Khai Le's has been my go-to for tailoring and clothing repair for over a decade! I have followed them around 3 different locations and will go to them if they ever have to move again. The quality of service and friendly staff cannot be beat! Highly recommended, don't trust anyone else with your clothes. read more

Friendly staff and quick service. I enjoyed my experience. It's roughly $20 to dry clean a suit. I think they completed that in 2-3 days, not bad at all. Finding the building is a little difficult. They're on Lincoln Road across from the Gap, on the second floor of the building. read more

I was desperately looking for a tailor to shorten one of my dresses.. And according to yelp, this place was the only place on South Beach that does alterations... The reviews were great so I thought I'd give it a try. There's not much to say, it's quite pricey, but it's SoBe, I guess I can't complain, the work is great. Definitively didn't ruin the dress.. The tailor himself wasn't the friendliest, but at least he showed me that he appreciated my business, then again, who doesn't appreciate $40 business... Dropped my dress up on a Monday & picked it up on Friday... read more

Professional, expert alteration, friendly and quick. What more can you ask for W SOUTHBEACH JENNIFER MILLER STORE

I am going to be a bridesmaid next month and the dress I ordered was way too tight and long. So, after searching for a reputable tailor/seamstress on South Beach, I decided on this one. Thank goodness!! He let out the back, then I came in to have it remeasured for a new fit and measured for hemming the bottom. Picked up the dress today...perfection! This is a the true definition of a talented tailor! Very kind, friendly, patient, and fairly priced as well. The space they work in is clean and the dressing room is spacious and clean as well. It's not always easy to find quality people on South Beach to perform work, but this man was A+ If you live on South Beach and have been searching for a tailor...look no further! He is worth the travel if you don't live on the beach. read more

Khai Le's Alterations - Outside entrance, he's in suite #410. - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Miami Beach, Florida

Incredibly friendly and responsive. Place is very clean and comfortable. Prices are a bit high but it is Lincoln roads

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little alterations business near me. They were professional, quick and friendly. I will be coming back soon and will recommend anyone I know to go there as well. read more

Should I begin with the fact that the business card has Mr. and Mrs. (?) Le's cell phone numbers? No, I will get to that in a moment...I will start with my dilemma and why I'm going to request that Mr. Le be put in line for beatification. Sigh. I'm not going to lie; I'm not a tiny a girl, not a big girl, just a normal tall girl...who is a little, uh, naturally busty. So when a girlfriend (God bless her) asked me to be one of her nine bridesmaids I was honored. It's her day, so whatever she wants is good for me, but ladies keep your bridesmaid's figures in mind when choosing a dress. The cute strapless, cocktail Badgley Mischka dress will--I have little doubt--look amazing on the tiny bridesmaids I will be towering over on Sunday, but me, well--I needed Khai Le! The dress was supposed to me my size, hell, I even went a size up from the measurements. When I tried it on and tried to zip, well it stopped right at the level of, ahem, the girls. PANIC! Wedding was 20 days away. I stopped eating all carbs or anything that resembled a carb and sent an emergency email out for "the best tailor." I arrived at Khai Le's with 19 days and told him just take it out as much as you can. I figured between starving myself and some help from the tailor, it would be tight but it would fit for the day. 12 days until the wedding I went back and to my dismay...the dress could not be taken out--at all. AAAAH! I put the dress on, secretly hoping the carbs had caused me to drop a cup size and lose 2-3 ribs. Surprise, still no zip. Khai Le said, no problem, I will take some of the lining and add panels under your arms. Come back on Thursday to try again...I handed him back the dress and told him I was counting on him! 4 days until the wedding I returned, nervous. I was putting a lot of faith in his handy work but he knew not fitting wasn't an option. He handed me the dress, smiling and I took it with a furrowed brow. I slipped the dress on...ZIP! Not only did it fit--the damn thing was loose. I came out and wanted to twirl in my happiness!!! He made some final adjustments--to take it in at the bust "for support" he said and measured the hemline. I'm going back on Saturday morning to pick up the dress for Sunday's wedding. Khai Le saved me, literally. I told him he was a genius. Work crazy hours like me? Khai's "house of genius" opens at 7am. Don't want your tailor to criticize you but just get the job done, he is your man. I think I have a crush... read more

Ever had a pair of pants or special occasion dress you were afraid to have tailored for fear it would be ruined forever? Well I have... and if you haven't you're really lucky. But I'm lucky now too because I found Khai Le! Located in a small office above the hustle and bustle of Lincoln Road Khai Le is the best tailor I have ever met! From daily wear pants to a really important maid of honor dress his skills with needle and thread are nothing to shake your finger at. Don't be fooled by his prime location, Khai Le is affordable and typically has items ready for pick up in just a few days. Khai Le's number is one everyone should have on speed dial! The combination of professionalism, courtesy and overall niceness I experienced bringing my clothes to Khai Le is one not soon forgotten. read more

Khai Le - expert tailor and life-saver rolled into one. I had a bridesmaid's dress that needed fitting, mainly in the shortening department, and after reading the great reviews on Yelp, decided to give Khai Le a try. Initial impression: the shop is cute and clean, and Khai and his wife are extremely friendly and professional. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, promising to pick my dress up in a couple of days. Events beyond my control prevented me from picking my dress up when scheduled. So I ended up, the evening before I was supposed to leave for the wedding on a 6 am flight, walking through a rainstorm over to Khai Le's, only to find that I had arrived after about 25 minutes after closing time. I was not going to be able to get my dress. My heart sank, as I thought of the consequences. Then I saw that on the door-sign, Khai Le and his wife have both listed their cell phone numbers. Hoping against hope, I called Khai Le, and he actually, and unexpectedly, answered the phone! I explained to him what had happened, and that I would completely understand if there was nothing he could do. He graciously told me to wait for him, as he would return to the shop to get me my dress. "You have to have it, right?" he said. He came back and cheerfully rang up my dress, which fit like a dream. That kind of service just doesn't happen anymore. If there were six stars on here, I'd give them the extra star. read more

Look no further for a tailor! I moved to Miami 7 months ago and was extremely nervous about finding a reliable tailor. I am quite tiny and am constantly taking dresses and paints to be hemmed and tapered. I've gone to places before and had tailors completely ruin an expensive pair of pants, so I knew how crucial it was to find a great tailor almost immediately after moving here. I perused Yelp for what seemed like days to find a tailor and decided to go with Khai Le. I originally dropped off a pair of pants that I wouldn't have been devastated about if the alterations didn't turn out well. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised?! I was greeted by Khai Le who first of all is such a nice man! He takes the time to talk and get to know you; you aren't just a customer to him! He told me he would be able to have a turn around of a couple days which was great to hear, because another place I had taken alterations to and told me 7 to 10 business days, which frankly I think is ABSURD to have pants tapered an inch or two. When I came back to pick up the pants, they fit perfectly! I decided to return with several other items to have Khai Le work his magic, and once again he didn't disappoint. I even brought in a jacket the other day that was beyond repairable and what do you know? He made it look brand new again. I can't endorse Khai Le enough. He's nice, remembers me every time I go in, and always gets the alterations done in a quick, timely fashion. His work really speaks for itself though. Do yourself a favor, stop looking any further, and trust Khai Le to make all of your garments look AMAZING! read more

He fitted my dress shirts perfectly, not too tight and not too loose. Mr. Bellevue up North actually made my shirts too tight. Living on South Beach with tight shirts was not a good combination. Khai or his wife do all the work and they've been in the business forever. I'll be coming here from now on. They also don't hand off the jobs to assistants so the quality is consistent. read more

Khai is the man. Excellent service, quick turn-around, great attitude and good prices. Yes, you can get a cheaper price somewhere else (not Lincoln road) but you pay for what you get, and well location is convenient for a lot of us. read more

Had to review this yelp find! I was really sick and tired of my usual tailor and needed a serious fitting for a dress that fit wrong in the right places... I yelped a local tailor and khai popped up.... He was also the only one open on a Saturday... So in I went with my special birthday girl dress that needed to be let out in the hips and taken in at the sides...I do not have an easy body to dress and am very tall...yet not slim! Hahaha darn!!! Khai was really helpful and suggested a panel for the hips and pulled the sides in.... He even worked out a 7am fitting two days prior to the party to double check the work....overall he rocks! Although I do think he is pricey I don't care because his work is worth it for me....this isn't the type of tailor to fix a button or hem pants go to him when you need something to fit perfectly for a event, party, etc.... read more

Whether in need of a quick stitch, an adjustment to an old garment, or wanting to get that sexy dress to fit just right, every girl should have a trusted tailor to run to. You should feel very comfortable with your tailor and be able to openly explain exactly what it is you want/need out of your clothes in relation to your body. Some tailors like to share their opinions and judgments even when they haven't been solicited, which is a big pet peeve of mine. However, Khai Le is very professional, very friendly. He understands what I'm requesting, with no judgement or criticism. He also does quality work and always has a fast turn around on the completion of my items. The prices are a bit steep (probably bc they are located on Lincoln Rd) and they will not call you when your items are done, so be sure to mark the date on your calendar! read more

I recently purchased a nude colored bodysuit covered in crystals to wear to an event in Las Vegas. I was unable to try the outfit on prior to purchase, and needless to say, when I received it, it was way too big for me. I brought it to Khai Le, and he was able to alter it to fit perfectly in just a couple of days! Fast and amazing quality. Reasonably priced too! Thank you Khai Le! read more

Khai Le is an alteration master. I brought in a pair of bell bottom jeans that needed to be brought in just about everywhere and he did a spectacular job. They looked as though I bought them just like that. The only thing I was a little taken back buy was the price. Maybe he's on par with other great alterationists but it seemed a little pricey. read more

The service in this place is amazing. My husband bought two very expensive shirts and a suit which were both tad big on him. Khai Le was very nice, attentive to details, and a real pleasure to work it. Both shirts and the suit were professionally altered and they now fit him perfectly.
