I called multiple times and all they said was that they did refund me (it had been over a week at this point with no refund). I've spent the last 2 hours on the phone with chase trying to dispute the charge. Very upsetting to rip off a young girl, and then lie about refunding the money. Take your money elsewhere.

This past weekend I was trying on the dress I got for my best friend's welcome party for her destination wedding. The zipper got stuck, then it broke, and my panic for having a new dress for this occasion in under a week set in. I used Yelp assistant to put in a request to local alterations spots and let them know I had a broken zipper off the track of a formal dress and I needed it fixed before Tuesday. This request was sent on a Saturday afternoon, so to be honest I was not very hopeful of any replies but Carolina replied right away. Her studio is right by my apartment so she told me to take my dress in right then to see if it could be fixed. She fixed the zipper on the spot, and when we actually tried on the dress we realized that I did not fit. Welcome to my nightmare. She had the brilliant idea to alter the dress and add fabric on the sides to give me the inches I needed. The result is essentially a custom dress that I am obsessed with, and at a great price. I am definitely going to keep Carolina on speed dial for any of my alterations needs as she is super sweet, detail oriented, and very well priced. Her studio is located in a blue building on Mediera and there is street parking right in front. Thank goodness for both request a quote and Carolina for saving my dress fiasco.

The suit, of course, is dry clean only and I needed it done in a hurry...(insert Best Dry Cleaners) I yelped and yelped and couldn't find any dry cleaner with decent enough reviews, that was close enough to my job or delivered same day service so on a whim, I got in my car and drove down Alton in desperation....(insert Best Dry Cleaners) I pulled up to one next to a Blockbuster, which is going out of business within a month so go get your used DVDs at a discount kiddies, and they tell me they do not have same day service but suggested I try the dry cleaner across the street...(insert Best Dry Cleaners) I got in my car, wrestled with the awful construction on Alton and pulled up to a tiny, FULL parking lot. Naturally, I parked the whip in a no parking zone because it just had to be done and jetted over with my nasty ass blazer and pants (hadn't cleaned the suit in months, yeah I'm cheap). This place is situated next to Jimmy'z Kitchen and it is a small establishment. The guy at the front counter was nice and told me he would take care of my suit by 4 pm (it was probably around 11 am) for about $20. Done deal, I left and returned at 4, as promised. I can't tell you if it's a rip off or not because I think dry cleaners are always expensive. All that mattered to me was that the suit was cleaned in the time frame requested. Thanks, Best!

Patricia at the front desk provided the worst customer service I've experienced…read more I dropped off two suits on Tuesday and even paid extra to have them ready by Thursday. When I wore one on Friday night, it still smelled like sweat and clearly had not been properly dry-cleaned. When I returned to have it corrected, Patricia refused to redo the service, claimed it was "impossible" to remove the smell without even attempting to fix it, and also refused to offer a refund. Completely unacceptable service for a dry clean business. Avoid this place at all costs.
