I have never had any issues with Yukon KFC. A few times I have noticed a small staff. Actually one person ! Despite that, she was fast did a great job. She was doing multiple functions and wore plastic gloves when handling the chicken. I have always been happy at KFC. Chicken is the best. The KFC creator lives in his recipe. So, decided I wanted Chicken for dinner. Drove to the Yukon KFC and was instantly disappointed because all their lights were off before 9pm. Decided to try the drive through and oddly they were open. We ordered the 8 piece meal with 2 large sides and 4 biscuits. The woman working was slightly rude through the Intercom. She also mentioned she needed "to check if they had enough for an 8 piece meal." I'm not sure if their hours have changed, but on their website they are open until 11pm. I asked at the window what time they closed and was informed that they closed at 11 which confused me because all of the lights were out. We ordered two of the 3pc box meals and hurried home. Several years ago, my father (who is in his 70's) ate here and got very sick. I am talking beyond food poisoning. My mother had shared every meal with him that day EXCEPT for the KFC he got from this location, so it was easy to narrow down what caused it, since she did not get sick. It took him a month to recover, and his hands started to shake some after the incident. He thought the chicken might kill him at one point. This instantly turned him from a life long KFC fan to someone who will NEVER eat at another KFC again, no matter what. At the time, this location had very sleazy looking employees with their pants hanging down, chatting on cell phones behind the counter, bickering and just looking disheveled and dirty (this could have changed by now but I wouldn't know because none of us will step foot in the store). I wish he'd chosen another location or something to avoid all of this. The doctor at VA told him what had happened, some kind of poisoning, but I can't remember the name of it now. I've never been a fan of the mac and cheese from here but it seems like they have recently changed the recipe. It's delicious now! The chicken, both crispy and grilled have always been cooked perfectly, never dry, and I always go about an hour before closing because that's when I have the time. KFC on Garth Brooks in Yukon, OK. After working 10 plus hours as most of us do and not wanting to cook I pulled in to get dinner for my family only to receive the most horrible service ever. I have been in customer service for years and never treat my guests (customers) the way i was treated whether it be by a manager or employee. To be in the drive thru and ordering (spending money with this establishment) and being told when just asking a question "ma'am I am busy and do not have time for this" again just 1 simple question (what all came in the box) just so i knew what to order for the family....smh. That really pissed me off and I should have driven off at that moment but was tired and just wanted to take care of my family. I will never go back to this location as long as they continue to treat customers that way. Times are hard I get that but the customers are the reason we have jobs in the first place. I was surprised to see the 1 star review of this particular KFC after the great experience we had there. We ordered got our food fast and it was still hot when we got home to eat it and tasted fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well, overall it was a great experience. Maybe the management or staff is different then the 1 star review in 2014 because we had no problems with the service or food. --Update 07/16/16--- I had to drop my review in half (had to drop to a two since how their was not an option for two and a half) due to not being consistent and to the horrible food we got from here tonight. We ordered a chicken sandwich combo (potato wedges, drink) and a kfc bowl in the drive thru. We waited 10 minutes and was given the excuse of they were making the order fresh, I think we were lied to because the only thing that was acceptable was the chicken on the sandwich and everything else was cold or not any good. The bread on the chicken sandwich was dry and firm like it was borderline stale, the wedge fries were shriveled up like under a heat lamp for a couple of hours, the kfc bowl that was supposed to have like popcorn chicken on top had no chicken it was like little balls of breading with no chicken in all fairness I think 1-2 chunks of breading had chicken in them. The drinks (fruit-punch) were like water like the syrup needed changed or something. Don't think we will be back. read more
