After my insightful review of the KFC on the VMP, I thought I'd take a venture over to the West Side and try their KFC. A world of difference. The service was quick and the food was hot and delicious. The manager working the front counter (Hispanic gentleman) was super friendly, like he enjoyed his job and was glad that I visited. I would have given them 5 stars but the bathroom could have been cleaner. Pretty smelly. But that is pretty much the standard at most fast food places. Also, take 38 seconds and put the toilet paper inside the nice smoked plastic dispenser. Next time I want KFC, I'll probably venture back over here for some good dining with my family. Usually we love this place- Tonight not so much. Tonight I ordered a 12pc meal and received 7pcs of chicken, 4 biscuits, and miraculously the three sides. Aside from the fact that I went home 5pcs short of chicken, it was so greasy it was like the grease wasn't drained off the chicken before serving it. Several years ago I said I wouldn't go back to this location. I did and have been for several years. I avoided the buffet as it looked like a pig trough. I WONT BE BACK AGAIN THIS TIME!! I placed my order online for the first time at KFC. If I spent enough, I got a free sandwich for using the app. So far, so good.I paid online so like McDonalds, I simply had to pick up my order. There were several cars ahead of me, but no big deal. I said I was there to pick up my order. They said I had to park and go inside. When I got to the door it said customers must order at drive through and door dash, etc must come inside. Now I have to wait for them to help me. When the guy waited on me I said I'm not a customer it appears and not a dash driver either. You still can't dine in at this location. He said they were short staffed and this made it better. I don't see how but they must. About me, I can hardly walk without extreme pain so drive throughs are a blessing for me. I avoid places where I have to go inside to pick up orders. What would I do if I simply couldn't walk? Beg for an exception? THE GOOD NEWS!!! POPEYES is now open in Lafayette and will open by month end in West Lafayette. This restaurant isn't very good. The staff is slow but friendly. The tables are dirty and not well placed. For some reason all of the tables are seated for six. Also, they are far too narrow which makes it difficult to get in and out. The dining area feels far too cramped and uninviting. The ordering area is too small with the buffet which makes one feel stressed. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Pretty good for a KFC. I had a delicious $5 famous bowl deal with a side of macaroni. Keep in mind this is KFC so there's some disheveled patrons inside but kind and mindful staff that must deal with them. My only complaint is that I didn't get my cookie in my to go bag and didn't realize until I got home. I always double check the bag as I should as a patron but I didn't because I'm a worthless piece of shit. I hate myself, I'm going to end my life soon. read more

First of all I have never been so disappointed in this KFC. The crew was very not professional, let alone screaming fuck you in the dinning room. Now for one I am a Manager at a fast food place and that sir was no manager. You can not even control you own crew actions, it seams like you do not really care for your job. Second the food was cold, if I wanted that I would of went to the store and got something instead. I had my wife and baby girl of one there with me and I feel like I was disrespected with what I just went throw. Now with me saying that I will get something out of spending money at a place that does not care for there customers. My family has been going to KFC for years and now I am afraid to go back and that is said. You need a new crew and a Manager that cares for the company let alone the customers that goes in you place of work.
