We've always enjoyed KFC having grown up with them however, o er the past few years, their food prices have steadily risen while the quality and portions have unfortunately gone down! We've also noticed that this location, while timely in ensuring that your order is ready fails to ensure that you receive all items including your dipping sauces, serving ware and napkins. While we appreciate the timeliness' of our order, the frustration in arriving home without out the extra and normal offerings is a wee bit frustrating and driving back the extra 20 minutes to pick them up is asking too much - checking and double checking before the order leaves would not just better their scores it would improve their overall service and meet our expectations!!! read more

I would think before you put a person taking orders thru the drive through you'd be sure they talked loud enough and were able to be understood... That being said, we went through drive through at about 5 pm Saturday. We could not hear or understand the person taking the order. My husband enjoyed the chicken pot pie. I hate that the only KFC near me is this one because I loooove their chicken, but this location is the worst. The employees have so much attitude that it's clear that the owner doesn't sweat the customer service. I laughed as I thought, maybe this place just teaches the basics and you can learn hospitality next door at Brewery City. But anyone coming from here can't make that jump. They'd have to move up to the Taco Bell up the street to learn how to NOT grimace at the customer. My guess as to why their service is terrible? Most likely the owner started lousy hopeful but years of employee theft and laziness made his heart die, which made him not care, so the employees are miserable and now they don't care. It's a vicious cycle. Shrinkflation has really hit this location. The chicken pieces are tinier than ever, yet the prices have never been higher. I paid almost $50 for three meals. At KFC! And here's a tip: Don't buy your items a la carte. I paid $15.99 for 6 chicken strips but a 5 piece combo only costs $1 more and you get a drink and a side with that. Fast food used to mean affordable, but for families with stretched out budgets, KFC is now a luxury, so start saving up now if you want to afford your next fix One more thing, at the end of my meal that's when I found some green carpet looking fiber cooked into the batter of my chicken. At least I hope it was carpet because I don't want to know what it actually was. Was it mold? About once every 8 months to a year I decide to try a childhood favorite restaurant. Paid $11 for this new pizza chicken. Saw some reviews from another state looked good. I got Luke warm chicken, cold sauce, unmelted cheese, and way overcooked pepperoni. We keep paying these workers more every year and their quality is shit, prices go up, and employees don't give a shit. I'm not sure how kfc is still in business. I really, wanted to like this place. Ordered an 8 piece chicken only extra crispy for $20. They sold me a 9 piece chicken only extra crispy for $13 that would be done in 3 minutes. So far so good. Was told to park and she'd bring the chicken to me. Getting to the parking area was dangerous because you must cross two lanes of traffic twice to get there. Then I waited about 20 min. A fellow finally brought the chicken. It was DISGUSTING. Yes, I just shouted. The crisp coating was hard yet somehow revoltingly greasy. How they accomplished this amazing seemingly contradictory result is beyond me. Oh, the chicken was a huge congealed lump in the bottom of the bucket and i had to turn it out of the bucket to disentangle. There was enough grease left in the bucket to fry a big ol' mess of hash browns. I had two legs and threw the rest away. Lesson learned. read more

Went to the drive thru to order a meal for my family which included 12-piece chicken nuggets for my son. Came home and found that they did not put the nuggets in my order. Called them to let them know that now we do not have enough food to feel my family tonight due to their error. Was told by employee they would record that they owe me and I can get the nuggets on another visit. Told her that I wanted a refund because I do not have enough food and they messed up. My co-worker and I went to the drive thru for lunch and each order a 3 piece tender, when we returned for work 30 minutes later we opened our food and it was a kid's meal. I immediately called KFC and was asked what did we order and what did we get in a very condescending tone. I explained to the person on the phone that I am at lunch and do not have time to drive back there to get a refund, she stated that is the only way we can refund your money. I then asked are you going to pay for my gas to drive there, she responded that she would pull it out of her bank account. I stated, did you just sass me, she then replied did you. Worst service and food!!! Ordered 2 meals for a family gathering food was missing, the chicken thighs, legs and strips were tiny and obviously old. The food was average KFC chicken. The issue was the service. It was obvious that David, name supplied by the manager?, did not really want to be there. I said hello and my nephew and I placed our order. My nephew likes to get the fries and the potatoes to dip his chicken into. I had a problem explaining that he wanted his sides as this. Went to pay and the order was 33.01. I gave him 40 and then was able to find a penny to give him so I didn't get a lot of change back. He handed me a 5 dollar bill and 1.99 in change. I said I should have got 7 back because of giving him the extra penny. The manager came over and asked what was wrong. I explained what was going on and she took money out of the till and said he didn't have change and went and got 1 dollar bills. At no time did David say they didn't have ones and would I mind change. When the manager came back she gave me the 7 dollars and basically threw the change in the till. To be honest if my stuff had not come up at that time I would have canceled my order. David then threw the cups onto the counter where I caught the one rolling toward me but the other one rolled back his way and fell on the floor. I asked for my cup that fell on the floor when he threw it. He picked up the cup off the floor and tossed it back on the counter. I asked for a new cup because I didn't want to drink out of a cup that had been rolling on the floor. The manager was right there when this was going on. No apologies for bad service. She said "I will talk to him". I have to admit that I think this is only the second time I have ever done a restaurant review. I have worked in customer service jobs and everyone has a bad day. The disrespect was so blatant I could not get over it. I don't complain if things are forgotten which has happened at other places. I will be calling this restaurant when it opens this morning. The food is good, it is KFC after all, but for some reason this one won't give you sauce. I've shopped here maybe 30+ times. I ordered sauce 30+ times and actually got it maybe 5 times. They're truly horrible about giving you sauce. I recommend sitting in your car at the window and actually finding the sauce in your order before you pull away from the window. This place scares me. Everytime I come here I swear it's the last time. However, I grew up eating KFC because it was my mom's favorite place to get "home cooked" meals without having to cook it. But we stood there for a good solid minute before any of the employees in the back acknowledged us. It was not busy in there, so I understand not having someone stand at the register if there's no customers, but couldn't there be something on the door that alerts them to someone walking in? Anyway...we ordered, got a table which I had to clean, and waited. Food was bland. Hot, but bland. I know...it's fast food...I shouldn't expect perfectly seasoned food...but a little seasoning? Maybe? Hubby couldn't eat his...cookie was good though...But I`m a sucker for chocolate chip cookies. So, once again, I say I'll never go back. Time will tell. Don't bother trying to order this through a delivery app. You'll order a standard family fill up (white and dark meat) and when the order comes you only get legs and thighs. When you call the restaurant to complain, they tell you only dark meat is available for $24. I asked why them didn't they post both prices so I could get what I wanted. The "manager" did nothing to make this right even though they could clearly see that i wanted both types of chicken. At least last time I got comped the chicken. Every time I've visited this location, they've gotten something in my order wrong. This last time, on Christmas Eve was the final straw! I purchased a 9-piece chicken-only bucket at the drive-through but when I got home, there were only 7 PIECES - and two of those were skimpy wings! I immediately sat down and wrote to Corporate about it - took them three days and I got a "canned response"; they apologized and would contact the appropriate persons. The wife and I go to the Tumwater KFC 3 - 4 times a month. We always get the # 9 (3 tenders, side, roll, drink and cookie). This time we also ordered the new desert Cinnabon Desert Rolls. I just went through the drive through, ordered 8 piece dark meat and 2 large slaw. 1st she came back with me ordering original, I said extra crispy she asked me what 2 sides and I said just 8 piece dark meat extra crispy and 2 large slaws.
