The market is very small but has a decent range of food options including burgers, pizzas, and ramen. When we arrived, someone was giving announcements for future events at the Market. To me, this didn't seem like a big deal, but the bar vendor kept giving us dirty looks for talking. And they wouldn't take our order until the woman was done. I don't know if they had ever been in a market before, but they are loud, hectic, and made for the convenience of everyone being able to get what they want quickly and meet up in the same space to enjoy. I am not required to participate in your events, I am here for food. The ramen was good but they made ordering too complicated and the menu is more of a fusion than authentic ramen. I had the shrimp and steak and the steak was burnt. My husband got a calzone and it was okay, it really could have been improved with some seasoning on the crust. You have to order from the vendors individually and then also check out again at a different vendor to get basic soft drinks - which were $3.50 each... I really appreciate what they are doing here, and I hope they continue to improve and work out the kinks.

Tried CM Chicken in Avon for the first time and it was a fun experience overall. The dining room…read morewas pretty quiet for a Friday night, but there was a steady stream of takeout orders, which is usually a good sign. The menu is about 90% fried, one salad option. Chicken, with wings, drums, and tenders offered in several heat levels. I went with the Curry tenders (medium), and my husband chose the Hot Honey wings (also medium). Both delivered exactly the right amount of heat--noticeable but not overwhelming. The crunch factor was definitely there, and the chicken itself was moist and flavorful. Sides are ordered separately, so we added onion rings. They were large and looked great, though they were just okay for me. Portions, however, were huge. Our total was around $32, which felt a bit pricey, but the amount of food made up for it. Honestly, we could have shared one entrée if we ever agreed on the same thing. They do serve beer, milk teas, and smoothies too, but we took our order home and enjoyed our own drinks. The atmosphere inside is casual with a giant screen playing K‑Pop videos, which adds a fun vibe if you dine in. Overall, I liked it and would return--next time with fewer items or more people to help tackle those portions.

But most of all I was impressed by the food. Truth be told I'm not a huge lover of fast food. I cook a lot (and quite well too thank you very much! Lol) so when I eat out it's usually for more than a drive thru. With that said, all norms get thrown out the window when travelling. So with this location being super close to the hotel I was staying at, and although I'd never heard of the chain before (just found out it was one) I was hungry and thought I'd give it a try. So happy I did! I ordered the 2pc tenders (one medium, one hot) that comes on 2 pieces of bread with cheese fries and a drink, extra pickles (bc I'm extra lmao!), and the kale slaw. The chicken was seasoned perfectly (the hot was more like a nice medium for my palate) and was super crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. The fries were also crispy & delicious, and the cheese sauce was tasty (I had mine on the side). The kale slaw which the staff person said they make fresh every morning was really good and definitely tasted fresh. The Dave's sauce was a spin on a 'Thousand Island' type of taste, and the honey that came highly recommended, pushed me well over the edge... Pros: Courtesy & professionalism of staff, fun ambiance, well-cooked/great tasting food, portion size, and price Cons: No grilled chicken items on the menu for those of us trynna behave ourselves on the road Would I go back? Absolutely I would, and it may be today!!!

Chicken slider was too much, the chicken did not fit the bread or visa versa. The tender was served very hot, which was nice, much rather have something served hot rather than cold. Ordered the tender with medium flavoring for heat, next time I would probably go a step down from medium because it was spicy. Seemed well staffed and the staff there was keeping busy. Not sure if I would go back, the flavor being delivered via a dusting might not be my cup of tea.
