It's since been upgraded and is quite nice. What a lovely McDonald's, with free wifi and bathrooms for 10 CZK (about US$0.40). It has a separate McCafé counter and the entire establishment boosts some nice modern design elements in keeping with current international trends. The interior is quite possibly the nicest McDo I've seen anywhere. There's even a counter with electrical outlets. The food is about standard for McDonald's, perhaps on the tastier side, but I might be biased because of the proud capitalist historical tradition of this particular one. As an American, I'm ambivalent about American global fast food chains but at least they seem to acquit themselves quite nicely. Bathrooms: Really nice. Modern aesthetic design with dark woods and those space-age oval thingies for urinals and touch-less faucets. Even eco-friendly, with one of those stick-hands-in blow dryer things.

They specialize in Azerbaijani cuisine and offer several entrees and durum. One night I also enjoyed baklava, sekerpare, and bülbül yuvası. We spotted the BK and easily talked each other into it. There was a line but once I got to the counter it was easy to order and it only took a couple of minutes to get the food. They have some sandwich options I don't think they have in the US but we both opted for The Whopper. The burgers tasted just like home.
