Server brings a bucket of hot charcoal and place it inside the grill and then we started grilling!! The meat is high quality and flavorful. After dining here a couple of times during my time in Prague and really loving how authentic and delicious everything is here, my friend and I decided to venture back to try their galbi, a typical Korean dish that is basically marinated beef. Boy, this was such a bad decision. First of all, if you order anything that requires a grill, they make you order two portions (I'm assuming because it's a hassle to get the grill out and heated). Our two portions were ridiculously small, and each portion was about 290 kc which is absurd. Each portion had maybe three pieces of meat? Which is so unreasonable. Secondly, the meat was really weird. I've grilled galbi numerous times before, as had the friend who was with me, and we've never seen raw galbi like this. The texture was very grainy and the meat was basically all bones... barely any meat. It ended up tasting okay, but that's definitely what galbi is supposed to taste like. The third annoying aspect was that the waiter was being absurdly condescending to us because we weren't Korean. Which is just about the stupidest thing that I've ever experienced in a restaurant. I've experienced racism abroad, that's nothing new. But racism in a restaurant? That's just rude especially because we're paying so much to eat there. The waiter just kept giving my friend and I crap for not being Korean since we asked whether or not it was really two portions because it was one plate with barely any meat and we weren't sure how long we were supposed to grill it.. We also ordered the za jiang mian (not sure of the Korean spelling) which was absurdly overpriced but not bad actually. Too much sauce for my liking, but a good portion to share with a friend also, every single time I've come back, the side dishes get worse. Don't have high hopes for that. tldr; the other normal food and safer choices (bibimbap, udon, etc) are great options. I think some of the other authentic dishes might have been okay, but stay away from the galbi which is absurdly priced and not authentic at all.

Maybe it is caused by the fact that I am not able to appreciate the Korean flavors but at the same time it might be cause by the poor service and for me not that interesting interior and rather unpleasant ambiance. It is nice to come here once or twice if you want to experience something new as there are not many Korean planks in Prague but I do not believe this is a place that would become one of your favorites.

They were definitely all freshly made. When we came back for dinner to-go, it was way more packed and they recommended reservations. That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.
