Kfc has really gone downhill in several ways. I used to enjoy the evening buffet, but unless you're there at 5:00 PM when food is put out fresh, the rest of the evening the steam table has nothing but dried out crusty food. Mashed potatoes and gravy are not supposed to be dried out and crusty. The cobblers, dried out and rubbery. Corn and beans, hard as a rock. The fried chicken has a large globs of fat and tendons under a thick coat of breading. That too, is very hard to eat. About the only thing that is enjoyable anymore are the little packets of honey for the biscuits. And speaking of biscuits... I will also add that this is probably the dirtiest restaurant I've ever seen in my life. Be afraid, be very afraid. read more

This is the worst place to go if you'd like some nice staff. Cierra was so rude and disrespectful and she kept yelling at us. She has spit got outta her mouth while yelling at us for asking politely for sauce. Then another girl pulled up as we were eating in the parking lot and asked if we were waiting for somebody I said no. We sat in the parking lot for a total of 4 minutes before she told me that she works here and she got told that we were sitting here for a while. After a recent trip to Australia (where KFC is excruciatingly delicious) I saw a Hulu ad that the Colonel had re-committed to quality, and that chicken would now be hand prepared at each location. I have to say that they really have increased the food quality. No longer do you realize what a terrible mistake you made the next day. It's now as good as what I remember it to be when I was a kid. I've only ever been to the drive-through at this location and the service is quite quick and generally accurate, and I think it's a pretty good value too. read more

EVERY time I eat here there are multiple screw ups with our order. Last month we went through the drive thru like always and got home to discover that we didn't get what we wanted so we called them and they seemed to understand so they put our name on a list so we could get a free order of chicken strips. Today when we told them our name they said they didn't have us on the list. And I got frustrated when they wouldn't honor their word to the free chicken. Terrible service, mediocre food, extremely dirty eating place. I may be making a big deal out of this but I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The new improved building may look nice but the people running that place are hardly quality staff. The two time I went through the drive thru since the new place opened my order was wrong both times. I didn't call the first even though I paid for food I didn't receive. They made my order incorrect which isn't a huge deal but also forgot things in my order when I called the manager had an attitude right away while answering the phone. She didn't even let me know it was kfc so I thought maybe I called the wrong number and asked if it was kfc and she rudely said "yep what do you want" and I told her she doesn't need an attitude I just called about my order and she said "whatever I don't have an attitude what do you want" and I said to talk to a manager and she laughs and said "I am the manager" I said okay I'll call back when a different manager is here and asked her for her name and she laughed and said "have a nice day" then hung up. I have an app that records phone calls luckily and have reach out to corporate already. I tried to call back again after she hung up and ask for her name again and she answered and didn't say anything while I asked twice then hung up again. Luckily corporate will be able to see I was being beyond nice while she was being bitter. If you don't have good customer service skills you probably should have done something better with your life more suiting for your attitude towards people. These people NEVER get an order right. For reasons I can't get into, we bought thanksgiving dinner ahead of time. Can't do Thanksgiving this year. They got both orders wrong, not discovered until we arrived home, my husband had to drive 15 miles to have them fix the order. I couldn't eat what they gave us! Horrible service. Went to KFC in Vancouver,WA today to get the Go Cup posted on the outside menu board for $2.49 each + tax, ordered 2 and was told total was $5.40. Got to the window and I was now told my total was $7.57 because the price went up on each up by $1 plus tax. I told the gal at the window that the price on the board was $2.49 after verifying that was correct the best she could do was give me a 10% discount and couldn't honor the posted price. She had no way to make her computer minus out $2 and the difference in tax. Needless to say, no purchase made on the principle the price was incorrect and they need to honor the posted price or figure something out to make it fair to the customer. We are very disappointed that KFC on Gher Road in Vancouver, WA didn't indicate on their drive thru menu that they are "out of" biscuits. Additionally, we were told they are not substituting another product for them because "the biscuits are complimentary and don't affect the price." What does that mean? If I just wanted biscuits they would give them to me? I think not. The cashier claimed there was a notice on the menu board, but perhaps it blew away, or is not obvious. At any rate, that's not a customer's responsibility. Additionally, as the particular bundle we purchased is to include a "half gallon of soft drink," that's what we expected-not too large cups that are not each 32 ounces. Finally, 4 cookies do not equal 5 cookies. No apologies were offered in the drive thru, and I determined after leaving the line that I simply needed a refund because this particular store wasn't able to fill the order as indicated on the menu, yet charged its full price. We went inside and were told by an employee "There is too a sign!" She beckoned a manager who was friendly, apologetic, and ultimately refunded us and disposed of the food. Ironically there is no apparent signage indicating a lack of biscuits, nor the upper management decision to not compensate customers for this in any way, at the front counter. read more

Service and food was fantastic. Entertainment was amusing too. Got to watch a guy throw a child-like "i'm going to show them" tantrum over not getting the sauce he ordered with his meal. And by child-like, I mean bully, talk-smack, threaten the poor employee with "you'll regret the review I'm going to write". If you are so unhappy, talk to the manager! What's the big deal with talking to the manager and explaining what happened? You will get a lot more mileage than posting an online review! It is the type of behavior that is part of the problem in this country. The situation wasn't addressed with restaurant management before writing a review, therefore they were never given the opportunity to fix the problem, and I'm sure they would have done something to make it right! Now the restaurant is subjected to a poor review without even being given the chance to fix it. Everyone makes mistakes! If they won't make it right, then review them. read more

Prbly THE worst kfc I've ever been to. I know this one has been here for a while, but I really don't know how. The employees are lazy, at least the cooks are. It was around dinner time when we went and my husband wanted extra crispy chicken and they told him they were out and weren't going to make more for the night... And then when we decided to just order anyway they told us they ddnt have Mac n cheese because it was still frozen! Ridiculous! I had to drive all the way across town to get to KFC because the one in my neighborhood is closed down for repairs. Upon arrival I had to wait for a manager to tell one of the cashiers to take my order because she was just standing around. After placing my order request I was asked if wanted any sauce... Nashville hot sauce on my burger and in a side container an order of ranch and barbecue sauce none of the sauce packets were delivered with the meal... We had to get our own napkins. And after getting our sauce packets by walking back up to the counter two of them were open. I have never had such deplorable service from any restaurant I have ever went to and that's saying a lot. Just to add insult to injury after addressing the food on the table on several tables I was told I'll just grab a napkin and wipe it off... As well as the nasty amounts of floor food and sticky substances. Management made 0 attempts to make this right. read more

I decided to try the new KFC on Gher Rd. I wanted to try the BBQ chicken tenders that they have been advertising. Went in at 11:30am and ordered, took 15 minutes to get my order. Yesterday I asked my grandson to stop by KFC and pick up two large mashed potatoes because I had made a nice dinner and ruined the mashed potatoes that I had made. They went through the drive-thru, ordered the potatoes, paid for them and started to take off. All of a sudden they noticed a sign that said, 'If we do not give you a receipt your meal is free". So my grandson says whoa wait a minute babe to his wife in the car and said we didn't get a receipt I'm going back to get our money back. So they pull around back up to the window knock on the window to get someone's attention and put it out to them that they did not get a receipt so they would be getting their money refunded. The woman was obviously angry and slammed the window in his face. They sat there a while longer and she came back and said we cannot refund your money you have the food. And slammed the window again. So they knocked on the window again and she opened it and they said we want to talk to your manager. Eventually the manager came to the window and did her best to try to get them to just move along they did not want to honor their sign. My grandson is pretty stubborn and he wasn't about to leave till he had the money back in his hands! So by the fifth time they opened the window they practically threw him his money and slammed the window back shut! LOL! I'm wondering if they went out and immediately took that sign down!? How petty can a big company like KFC get? KFC just needs to be grateful they hadn't ordered $50 or more worth of food. All they were out with a couple of large mashed potatoes LOL! Come on KFC! I don't know where to start with this place. It's dirty, run down, service is slow, and it's always a long wait for product they should have ready. How does a place that specializes in serving chicken run out of chicken? I love the KFC brand, but I really dislike this place. Unfortunately, it's one of two locations in town. Anyhow, back to the matter at hand. Ordered an 8-piece meal to go. After a long wait finally got my order. The gal at the counter apologizes and says they were out of legs so we threw in an extra breast and biscuits. Sweet! Compensation for my long wait. Got home to find no extra biscuits, I did get an extra breast, but I noticed I only had seven pieces of chicken, so apparently it's okay to short me because you threw in an old dry extra breast, no napkins, and no utensils. This review is for the KFC on Gher Road in Orchards (Vancouver), WA and I would give ZERO stars if I could right now. This particular KFC was just remodeled and recently opened back up. I have been trying to call them (360/254-0906) for two weeks to try to place an order but all I've gotten up to now is a busy signal. I wanted to see if things had actually changed at this location plus I just wanted some good ole' KFC!!! APPARENTLY NOT!!!! The place looks real nice but customer service hasn't changed a bit. I've been trying to place a phone order again tonight and after several hours of getting a busy signal it finally rang through only to have someone pick up the phone and hang it back up. After this happening several times I then got an answering machine telling me that they could not take my call and to try back later. So NO CHANCE AT ALL of getting through on the phone. Don't even waste your time trying. Now, once again, I'm heading to POPEYES where I can get AMAZING customer service with a big huge smile!! Thanks Sabrina, Kristina and Zee as well as the rest of the crew!! No upcharge to get a thigh instead of a breast. Ridiculous KFC!! AND POPEYES WILL ALWAYS COOK IT FRESH!!! In the past KFC always cooked my chicken to order and I felt I got fairly good customer service, however, the last 10 times before the remodel when I called in to ask for fresh chicken they refused even though I was willing to wait and gave them ample time to compensate during busy times. I'm so irritated right now at this KFC. I had been trying to reach them tonight for hours and as I drive by on my way back from Popeyes I see that they have a total of four cars in their parking lot and absolutely no line in the drive up. As many times as I've called in the last couple of weeks there is absolutely no excuse in the world for someone not to answer that phone. So, so done KFC ORCHARDS WA LOCATION!!! This KFC is one that has good food, great service, but in the bathrooms they are disgusting with slippery floors and a sink that does not stop running. So if you want a quick drive through it is good, but try not to go to the bathroom. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. read more
