This place doesn't even deserve one star .... I went thru the drive though around 845pm I ordered my meal and what not. Then the girl goes "oh let me check if we have some left" excuse me ?! It's no 10pm so if you are out of stuff you go make more. I wanted potato wedges and she tells me it's gonna he a TWENTY MIN wait because they were "cleaning" their fryers ... why are you cleaning if you don't close till 10pm? I wanted to change my order and they come out to tell me they have no mashed potatoes left ... then I come to the window and my coupons weren't even applied after I told him twice to apply them. NOT SATISFIED!!!!!!! read more

KFC - Fast Food Near Me - Oakdale, California

We normally expect a delay from KFC, simply because we know our food will be warm, fresh, and cooked correctly. This is perfect. This did not happen here in Oakdale. Never has a KFC ever been a problem for me. Heck my first job was KFC , and I know its usual quality. Ordered a full meal, over 60 Dollars. Chicken was very, very dry, never have I had this happen at other locations. I pulled up to the window, and was immediately handed food. Should have known. Old food Gravy! Gravy was bitter, could not eat anything. Family night dinner ruined. read more

I would give half a star if I could. First things first. Most of the employees attitudes are less than nice. There's always a new problem. Such as card only. Or this machines down... etc. Ordering through the drive thru is a nightmare because they never have anything available. You would think classic chicken would be cooked and ready on a slower day... no, 25 min wait time. And it's a common occurrence. I don't plan on getting this KFC anytime soon. I'll drive to Riverbank. Do not recommend. read more

Tried the kfc Nashville Mac and cheese bowl and it was cold and gross 10/10 don't recommend this location

Very dirty restroom. Their dine in is closed but when you go inside, the dining area and restrooms are filthy. Workers are unmasked. I don't trust them touching my food. So we left. read more

Lame!!!! Over an hour to closing and they can't cook me anything I want to order.... on the plus side last time I came they let me add bacon to my famous bowl.... no other locations ever let me read more

Love kfc great chicken and sides the only place for anyone to get deep fried chicken it is quick and easy an always nice and hot

Awful service, never gets your order right. Rude employees who do not care about fixing the issues. The employees there are just incompetent. If I could give them negative reviews I would read more

IF I could write a review on Yelp with no stars...I would! I have given them the benefit of the doubt for the past several visits. It never fails that whatever I want...they are out of it! How can this happen? I am only asking for a product on the menu!!! I asked for the manager yesterday to get the phone number for the owner...and the manager said there was not one! So YELP is the only platform to voice my frustration. My recommendation is to NOT go to this location! Absolutely - a poorly ran fast food chain with no awareness of good customer service! You have been warned! read more

Ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich with no sauce at KFC in Oakdale. Was told that sandwich is made with spicy sauce only. I asked if I could be given the sauce on the side and was told NO. Once I was given the food, I asked again and was told it's not their policy to give sauce on the side. Went in to talk to the manager and a young lady said she was the manager and NO sauce , it's not their policy. I'm not really bothered that I couldn't get the sauce, but how I was told not only from the manager, but her staff. Customer service is lacking in this KFC store. It's not what you say, BUT how you say it. Won't be returning. read more

I will be surprised if this place is open in 6 months. What a mess. This is one of those combo places where they have A&W Rooter and KFC. They can't do either of them correctly. I'n not sure where to start - came by for hotdogs and root beer - 30 min later had hot dog and no root beer (This is an A&W Root Beer). The workers were utterly confused and focused on the drive though leaving the people inside to just sit around. They seem to have a problem with the root beer. I heard the girl say 3 time over the course of 30 min's that she is refilling the root beer and it would be 10 min. It never got refilled. I got 3 hotdogs, a large root beer float and a small root beer. The hotdogs took 15 min and I got a medium root beer float in a paper cut (not glass) with what tasted like water and syrup and only 1/2 full. I did not even try to do a refund - I would have been there for an hour more - This place was utter confusion. The food was horrible and the service was even worse, even for fast food. Stay away - they will be out of business soon..... read more

KFC in Oakdale, CA has to be the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I have come through here multiple times over the last couple of months and the service is horrible, the wait is 3 times what is it anywhere else, the bathrooms are disgusting. I will not ever be back. read more

And DOWN it goes again. The issue here seems to be inconsistent management practices. Apparently they cook chicken from pre-packaged batches (this was explained to me by one of the employees). Each package has a set number of wings, breasts, etc. They are instructed to sell out an entire batch (or most of it), before they open another. This means, if you want 4 breasts or 6 breasts, it would require opening 2 or 3 "batch packages" if all of the remaining parts aren't sold, it results in loss. I have had this issue pop up several times since I last rated this location. Not only that, but since I had to wait out front for my order, I lowered my window, so I could hear people ordering at the drive-thru. Many expressed the same frustrations while ordering. Phrases like "how can you be out of Breasts at 6PM, this is KFC, right?" I understand the business side, but there HAS to be a Better way to do this. EVERY trip here is frustrating, for this reason, we almost NEVER patronize the business. This is a shame, because we actually really like the chicken. Maybe they could have bags of Breasts only, to supplement the "batch" bags. Whatever the case, It needs to get better, of it will forever be a 1-2 star location. read more

KFC is the absolute WORST place in town if you're a DoorDash driver, or if you're ordering from them through DoorDash. I'm pretty sure they forget that you're waiting for an order 99% of the time. So just know that if you're ordering through door dash, your order is going to take forever. read more

This has to be the worst KFC I've ever been to. I ordered my order on kfc.com and when I went to pick it up they told me that they don't accept orders from their own god forsaken website. I had to get out of my car and re order my damn food THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. I'm still sitting at this restaurant like a fucking idiot waiting for my food (it's been 10 min). This place is very under staffed and doesn't work fast enough. I have a husband at home who is sick I did not need to wait that long. Never go here read more

The person taking my order was extremely rude, gave me little time to even figure out what I wanted and rushed me to hurry up and give my order. She barely acknowledged me at the window. I have never been treated like this at any other place in my life. I had decided to give this KFC one more try since every other time before this, the food was horrible. I will never go back here again. read more

I'm not sure why this place gets such a bad rap. Today was my 3rd time there had nothing but a great experience with the workers and the food. It is KFC so you know what to expect. Wish there was a Popeyes closer! read more

45 minutes to get a 2 piece box. When I went through the drive through they said it would take 8 minutes for them to make it. Using Covid as an excuse for poor performance. read more

In a two week time we have had an issue with this location. First time got the wrong order. Second time they wouldn't have biscuits for 16 minutes. Third time as the drive through kid is handing me the bag tells me we were out of biscuits I gave you 2 cookies. Irritated me that he was so nonchalant as he said it like it was nothing. Don't know what is going on because it is bad business. read more

There counter service is an absolute joke. They concentrate more on the drive thru than counter service. Stood in line for 10 minutes and left. Won't be going back. read more

I work for A delivery service and out of all the restaurants I pick up from this is by far the slowest one. I could understand if there was a long line, but I was the only person waiting.it took 45 minutes from the moment I arrived to leave with my food and it took the customer who ordered it 2 hours from the time they ordered it to receive their dinner. I will never accept another order from this restaurant. I hope this encourages them to provide more efficient service for their own benefit and for the Oakdale community, especially in these times where people are staying home and relying on our services for their meals. I could forgive a one time thing but this is the third order I received where I had to wait a substantial amount of time for a small order. I love kfc just not this particular location. read more

First I will start on a positive note, the employees are always friendly. But EVERY TIME we go there our order is not correct, items are missing or they just don't have what your wanting to order. This has been a constant thing for years!! One night we went to get food they "lost" our order which we had already paid for, we waited for over 40 mins before we got our food. We always suck it up because we really like the food, but tonight was what finally did it for me. Tonight they were out of Mac N Cheese, out of Pepsi, items from the order were missing and then were told we would have to wait almost 20mins for our order to be corrected.... I would understand if they were busy but there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot, some belonging to employees (I see these cars there all the time) and there was no one else in the drive thru. Don't go here unless your ready for a headache!!!! read more

They should really get the health inspectors out here and the workers are slow and do not move with a purpose and the counter gives the food away with out checking the receipts causing a confusion read more

Went here the other night and they didn't even have enough chicken to fill 2 3 piece meals, so I ordered chicken strips. Chicken strips and French fries were awful, tough and dried out, definitely been sitting under the warmer way to long. Disgusting. I gave it 3 stars only because the person taking my order tried her best to accommodate the lack of available product. read more

Horrible Service today. We ordered a burger and fries and a bowl. The burger bun was all messed up and the fries looked old and were cold. The workers were unprofessional and yelling in the back. Customer service was rude. Will not be coming back. read more

What a flipping disaster of a business....zero stars, if I could give less I would. We have tried to eat from here (we moved to Oakdale right before COVID so we've only had a drive thru experience) several times and have never had a good experience. We have yet to get a complete order. Sometimes it's sauce, or corn dogs or an entire meals. Tonight I tried to order dinner. I pull up to the drive thru and there is a sign on the speaker "we are sorry but we do not have biscuits because we didn't get our order. The only substitution are cookies." Cookies instead of biscuits? Okay.... I say " can I get an order of cheese curds?"... "I'm sorry, we don't have any cheese curds". Me, "oh, okay, can I get a large order or popcorn chicken?" ...."I'm sorry, we are out of popcorn chicken". No disrespect to the poor employee having to deliver this message to me, but this is so not okay! I would rather go hungry than support this business!!!!. read more

the lady at the counter was nice. she asked the other a question and she was very rude. the chicken tasted like it was in the warmer all day. we have been eating at other kfc for over 40 years this by far the worst. read more

I don't understand how this establishment is still open, it's terribly organized, extremely dirty, the food sits out and is old, they always forget your order, and they're in such a hurry to leave early that they'll close up to an hour and a half early because they're so lazy. I highly recommend anyone avoid this specific KFC/A&W location. read more

This place is the opposite of fast food. Expect to wait for your food. They never have what you want. On the plus side you often get fresh food, but if you're in a hurry dont go there. However if you are "lucky" enough to get your food expect it to be stale and the chicken will be dry and hard. On my last trip there was hair in my mashed potatoes. read more

So basically your guys are pretty ridiculous. You only get one sauce when you order a $10 bucket of popcorn chicken but yet you get 2 when you order cheese curds? How does that make any sense? And please tell me why you are not allowed to add anything on when you get up to the drive thru window ? Some times people need to change their order and you won't let them ? You make them go back around? I've never heard of any drive thru doing that ever. read more

This place is disgusting out of root beer in the machine messed up my order and then went on to mess up the other 6 orders after mine ordered 5 piece chicken strip and got 4 like how do you mess up a 5 piece meal then the bbq sauce isnt honey bbq it's water and sugar in oil in a ketchup squirt tube absolutely disgusting wouldn't give it any stars if I could read more

The last three times I've been here they have been out of chicken. Tried attempt number 4 and they are out again and asked if I would wait 30 minutes in my car in the parking lot. Really. This is rediclious! It's KFC, how can they be out of chicken! read more

For some reason they can never get the orders right. Last night ordered 12 piece all dark with half extra crispy and half rotisserie. Got 2 breasts in the extra crispy and the rotisserie was 4 drumsticks and 2 wings all over cooked. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to cook the order since didn't have any prepared. Bought a cake and got home and it was not in the bad. The place is dirty, dust bunnies everywhere. Have contacted corporate office on other times and they fail to respond read more

This place has usually been pretty good in the past, but tonight, not so much. We noticed it seemed cold when we first walked in. There were no medium size cup lids, so they gave us large. No complaint there. I mentioned to two different employees how chilly it was, and that it felt like the AC was on, but got no response. IT WAS DECEMBER! Then, no honey sauce for our biscuits. By the time we left, we were FREEZING. I understand when you're working in the kitchen, it can get a little hot, but what about the customers?!?! It will be a long time before I try this place again. Oh, and did I mention it was COLD?! read more

I wish I could give this place NO stars!!!! I went back here tonight because I was wanting some KFC tinder strips. Well I should have known better. Every time I go it's an eight to 11 minute wait for something! Tonight, with just one car a head of me, one car behind me and maybe two tables of people inside, not to mention it was 6:30 pm Saturday night. First I had to wait 4 or 5 minutes by the speaker to order (what could possibly take so long?). Then I'm order the 8 piece meal original recipe. A staple, right? Well 11 minutes for the biscuits. Didn't want to wait. Replaced it with Corn. Pull up to the window, pay, watch them put my order together and there it sat, and sat, and sat. 6 minutes later somebody finally sees me sitting there and the food, and hands it over. Get it home; apparently they were running low on original recipe, and without even asking gave me four extra Krispy. I hate extra Krispy. That's it!! Will drive to Riverbank from now on!! read more
