The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork were tender but bland, with one strange flavor I couldn't identify. The barbecue sauce helped some, but mostly just covered it up. The catfish was the highlight, crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the tartar sauce. The banana pudding came in second, creamy, sweet, and actually really good. The red beans and rice were okay, but they used instant rice and didn't include much of it. The coleslaw was bitter and hard to enjoy. We ended up throwing away more than half the meal. We really wanted to like this place and support a local business, but for the cost and quality, we can't recommend it and won't be back.

He barely spoke & when he did it was almost inaudible. But he didn't hover or annoy us, & that goes a long way with us. As we were walking out our waiter was exiting the kitchen. Rather than checking the table first, he leaned on the counter we were immediately shown upon arrival as if he were on a break & very loudly accused us of trying to dine & dash. Had the dip shit checked the table first, he would have seen the cash that covered the bill & his tip entirely. I know cash confuses the young so we had planned to let it go & let him feel like a jerk silently & hopefully remember this. That didn't sit well with us... we went back inside & got the tip back in full! I'm not rewarding some small town pain in the ass for accusing me or my family of theft. I love this location because it's typically much quieter and you don't have to deal with Mountain Home crowds. Plus I'm just one of those wEiRdOs who thinks BK is better than McDonald's so this works out perfectly for me. Bringing it back to why I took the time to leave a review on a location that hardly anyone probably knows about, this was the best chicken sandwich I ever had from BK.
