The last time we were here the brisket was AMAZING tender, juicy and overall cooked perfectly. 3 of us got the brisket that was flame thrown, dry and the bottom of our baskets were swimming in grease. I ate a hand full of my sweet potato fries but the rest were inedible due to swimming in the brisket grease. Wife had to get our drinks again and had to tap it on the counter to get anyone's attention. Then the manager and owner threatened to throw us out over her tapping the plastic cup on the table. "DO YOU BELIEVE THIS CRAP NOW THEY ARE SAYING THE FOOD IS BAD" I'm 54 years old and have never experienced such a terribly ran restaurant. The pizza was on point. We ordered a Medium Lunar Pie pizza and an 8"Cheese pizza. It was more than expected. It was cooked thoroughly and absolutely perfect. Well, the truth of the matter is, I really love the nostalgia of Pizza Hut for many reasons. Number 1, my late father and I would always have lunch dates at Pizza Hut when I was just a little girl in the 80s when it was a booming business. There were very few places he would dine in at, but Pizza Hut was one of them. As an adult, I made it a ritual to take my children to Pizza Hut many Friday nights. It was a treat for them. I'd give them some money for the jukebox and we'd order cheese sticks and a pitcher of icy, cold Pepsi. They loved it! We would wait anxiously for our large pan pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. In 2006, I moved to Marietta and this one just consistently disappointed. Every once in awhile we would get lucky and have great service and amazing pizza, but more often than not, that just wasn't the case. The last time I ate there, the phone just rang and rang off the hook. There were only a couple of tables occupied, including ours, and I don't know where all the staff disappeared to, but there was no one to be found. Nobody was answering the phone...it was so disruptive that I threatened to go answer it myself. Our waitress was incognito. If I didn't know any better, I would think she was the only one working and was on her lunch break. Anyway, I haven't been back since. If you do miss the flavor of Pizza Hut, I would suggest putting in an order for pickup or delivery. I definitely would not dine in. But even then, you risk cold pizza and inaccurate orders. It's unfortunate that this Pizza Hut is so bad. It could be something great under the right management.
