The (small) chicken wings are simply seasoned, which I didn't mind because it allows for the grill taste to shine. The accompanying sauces bolster the flavor. My favorite of the sauces are the Peri Peri Extra Hot Sauce, an acidic cayenne flavor. You can taste the hint of lime/lemon and definitely regret not purchasing a bottle to carry back home to Brooklyn. I will say the Peri Peri Extra Hot Sauce wasn't as hot as I'd expected. I thought it would be "need milk hot" but it wasn't. I chose several sides -- chips (aka fries), garlic bread, spiced grains & butternut squash, and rainbow slaw. I wouldn't get the latter again but would order the chips. The chips were dusted with the Peri Peri seasoning and I feel fries and chicken wings are like peanut butter and jelly. It just goes together. Who gets slaw with chicken wings? Apparently, I do, and won't do that again. I would return to Nando's.

You can't really say anything about the food-- because, come on, it's McDonalds; the genius is that it tastes the same everywhere. The service is pretty much the same as anywhere in Britain that employs disinterested teens-- sullen and can't be bothered. But they get a 3 for the new parking docks where you wait for your food to be couriered to you after you've gone through the drive-thru (which to me defeats the entire purpose of "drive-through" but what do I know). Beats parking in the first spot you can find in the teeny, always crowded lot and watching while the poor bloke designated runner for the day tries to find you. You just know that the order taker purposely tells them the wrong make and model of car to have a laugh. Efficient, consistent and sparkly. Sounds like a good recipe to me.

The Nandocas here were friendly, I was greeted upon entry and taken to a table by one of the managers, she explained that due to stock issues, they were out of many menu items including chicken thighs, and chicken on the bone, with a limited number of butterfly breasts left, so she advised me to go for a burger or similar. Frustrating, but visiting just after the festive period with many holidays including a Manchester United fixture, it's reasonable that they just haven't had a chance to get a delivery yet. The restaurant area as a whole was tidy and well-presented, except for one chair, which I had to swap due to having food on it. Some of the larger tables already had a selection of sauces, but there was the usual area where you could get sauces anyway. I still managed to go for my usual Nando's order, a medium chicken butterfly with peri chips and rice. My food arrived in good time and was hot. The peri-chips were salted perfectly and tasted good, and the chicken and rice were also tasty. As with any Nando's in general, you can order via the Nando's app / QR code at your table, or if you prefer the personal touch there is always the option of ordering at the counter. If like me, you have an allergy, you will need to order at the counter with a manager to ensure the request is sanctioned correctly. I did find the food expensive for what it is, as of January 2024, my meal came to £14.45, which seems to be regularly going up at least every 2-3 months, and I did have to bring my own mayo from home as Nando's, despite being a meat restaurant no longer have it, replacing it with a vegan alternative or a paid option of Perinaise (Nando's peri-peri sauce + mayonnaise), but these are issues I have with Nando's in general which are not specific to this particular location. 4* - A good Nando's overall in terms of quality of food and service, and I would return in the future.

They're known for their multiple different sauces for your chicken that you could choose and add onto your table. They also have a vegan menu which my brother ordered from.
