I honestly try to be nonjudgemental, as I am required to professionally and because I don't want others judging me for what I'm sure are many faults. But I've also heard that Maury Pauvich may or may not get a lot of his talk show contestants right from this restaurant.. This is of course total hearsay and should never be repeated, but when i ate here recently (well some people may call it eating, others may call it suicide by cholesterol), I can tell you that i think this may be true.. The reason I love this restaurant is not the food.. its the people watching.. I can sit there for hours in utter fascination and watch the sheer miracle of diversity which is our great nation waddle past me. Since the renovations, the store has a nice clean modern look now. Service is still as fast and friendly as ever. Over the years I must have lost my tastebuds because although I still remember what the secret herbs and spices are supposed to taste like, they don't taste like that anymore. And the chicken doesn't really taste like chicken either. But that may just be me. A few things to note: they no longer serve the hot wings which were my go to meal even though they were very expensive. Also the three piece chicken meal no longer contains a side salad/gravy so if you need those it's cheaper to get the for piece. read more

I have NEVER had a worse meal from any KFC. I went in at supper time when they were busy and assumed the food would be fresh. I got a bucket, 2 sides, and, fries. Only the sides were edible. The chicken was cold, dry, and tasteless. It had obviously been cooked a looong time before it was ordered. This is not the first time this restaurant has disappointed me, but it will be the last. Give it a miss and go to ANY other chicken restaurant. read more

Waited 25 minutes after being told it would be 8 minutes for some chicken strips. Then was told it would be another 4 to 5 minutes, must be some kind of complicated deep fryer. People were served and ate their meal I was still waiting. Very poor management, will not be back. Money refunded, Mary Browns was good. read more

The Taco Bell website lists this as a location...but apparently if you dream about Taco Bell for months, fly to Halifax, speed to Lower Sackville, you'll then only find a useless KFC. And then you'll find the Quinpool Rd location closed for renovations! Thank god for reliable Stewiacke!! read more

This KFC looks completely different since Taco Bell was gone. Personally I hate that Taco Bell is gone. The new KFC in Sackville does look great! A lot of seating space with a nice look. Clean. But not satisfied with the WOW Box meal. The sandwich and fries are small. I will admit they tasted good though, but the sandwich should have had more sauce, covering the whole chicken. When I went there was almost costumers, which for me personally is good, as I have a problem with being crowded and socialising, etc. So I enjoy the lack of people there. I didn't think the meal I had was worth paying $5. They could have atleast given more fries. read more

I'll never be back, the place is under new management and I guess the plan is to hire liars and incompetence. The last two times I went there I was treated like garbage. First I ordered specific pieces of chicken and told them I'll pay extra if need be to have 3 legs and 2 breasts. What do they do? They threw in 5 random pieces of chicken, as I was being handed the bag I asked if it was correct and was assured it was...Wrong. Next time was the final straw, I was made to wait nearly 15 minutes for my food, a bag was brought out and the employee (trina) pointed to the bag and said "we're just waiting on your popcorn chicken, can i get you to pull up front a we will bring it out to you" 15 minutes later I gave up and told them I wanted my money back. This liar Trina then said that my food was begin prepared together when I told her Im not paying for cold food made 15 minutes ago....she said that the bag I seen was someone elses...."we're just waiting on the popcorn chicken" Filthy incompetent liars work here. Go somewhere else like I have, I used to provide them with $40 sales once a week, now Ill never return. read more
