I was super inclined to leave a 1 star rating. When we needed a little time to figure out our carry-out order, we had to wait after we decided because she went to the back office and left us hanging. Then we were told we'd have to wait 16 minutes for our chicken. Fresh is best, so that wasn't horrible, but it was long before closing (we thought--keep reading!) so we were a bit surprised they were so short on it. It ended up being more like 25 minutes, and we weren't offered a drink until we'd already been waiting more than 10 minutes. We had a hard time finding a clean table--I actually found only 2 clean tables in the whole place, and the floors were covered in debris and sticky spilled drinks. When we were offered drink cups, the unsweetened iced tea was empty and the drink station was a mess--straw wrappers, lids, and stickiness all over. Closing time was posted as 9:00, so we were in shock when they locked the doors before 8:40! One customer kept knocking and they just ignored them! We felt extra lucky that they had actually offered to cook for us instead of sending us away to figure out alternative dinner plans. But...the chicken was awesome, and the sides were fresh as well. We got a few wings thrown in for our wait, and we got our KFC fix. To my surprise, FOX featured the restaurant the next night as having the best Health Dept. ratings (2 consecutive inspections with no critical violations) for fried chicken in the Denver Metro area, so that was reassuring. I've been to far got my order completely wrong and when I came to the window mind you before 12 o'clock when it says that they close probably around 1145 they told me we're closed and refused to remake my order or at least get me the things that we're missing. Start by saying I live in Conifer so a 30 minute drive from here. I started my order I wanted some stackers. The person taking my order says 4 Stackers Uhh hang on? Ok what else 3 Double Stacked tacos ok. Total 19$ I get home 30 minutes later and realized why the "Hold On" when I ordered my kids asked why there were only tacos in the bag no stackers and all the tacos had BEANS!!! Two gripes: I stopped by on 11/24 around 6pm to order and only by noticing the teenie- tiny little piece of paper on the lower right corner drive-through speaker/microphone did I notice the restaurant was closed. The lights were on, the drive-through was lit up - the place appeared to be open for business, but wasn't. I think a good place for the "sorry, we're closed" notice would be in front of the ordering speaker. I ended up ordering Dominos pizza. My second gripe occurred at 5pm on 11/28 when I ventured out again to order a 16-piece original chicken-only bucket for my family. Not surprisingly, they had no chicken ready despite it being the dinner hour. The girl who took my order said it would be 20-minutes. When I told her that I'd wait, I think I shocked her because I am guessing she just wanted me to order the crispy chicken. So, I drove up to the window to pay and asked a question only to find out the girl running the cashier didn't speak English (okay, so before you say that's racist, she was caucasian). While waiting for my bucket I could hardly not notice how slowly the employees were working. OMG, they moved without purpose. So, 30-minutes later my food comes out. At least it was fresh and hot. Two warnings, friends: 1) Do not order online from this particular KFC. 2) Open your bag and check what they gave you before you walk out the door. For the first time ever, I ordered KFC online on Sunday, Sept 12, 2021. Then I drove to the store and went in to pick up my order. They had not even started my order, even though they were not busy at all! I was the only customer. I waited while they filled the order and then they gave me my bag and I drove home. So, ordering online accomplished nothing. I waited just as long as I would have if I had ordered at the counter. So don't bother ordering online from this KFC store. Then, when I got home I found that they did NOT give me what I ordered! I ordered a 12 piece dark meat bucket because I did not want any white meat. It turned out that they gave me a 12 piece variety bucket. That was NOT what I ordered. I wanted only legs and thighs which is what you get in the dark meat bucket. I ended up with 2 legs, 3 thighs, 4 very tiny horrible wings, and 3 breasts. I truly felt I had been cheated. So, again, do not order online, and then before you walk out the door you need to check everything in the bag and/or bucket to make sure they didn't give you the wrong order. It shouldn't be that way, but obviously at this particular store that's the way it is. Needless to say, after having been cheated, I will never eat there again. Came in and the order was completely wrong. Only one person working in front and working on orders. Plus there are about three employees not clocked in and not wearing any form of identification that they work here and kept walking in and out of the back to go outside and back inside. A very unprofessional setting and fast food restaurant. None of the workers are wearing name tags, didn't give receipt when asked and one employee on December 29 was wearing a beanie and sweatpants. Others were on their phones goofing off instead of working. We were given attitude when we went to return a burrito that wasn't one of ours and the gentleman working the POS was a complete jacka**. They also said they can't give me a refund that I "have to go online" but online instructs me to call the store. They somehow manage to always screw up your order. I can clearly give instructions on not to add mayonnaise to my chicken littles or no sour cream on my tacos and they'll get it right maybe half the time. Very poor food and seemingly poorly trained order takers. We ate in (not drive-up). We selected one 2-piece extra crispy order (a breast and a leg) that were extremely dry and had to return for the biscuit ordered but not rec'd (another worker gave to us no-charge, though another trip to the counter was necessary to obtain butter for it -- kind of a natural, I would have thought). We also ordered a 6-piece order of chicken wings (unseasoned). They turned out very spicy and were replaced, when asked, with "regular" crispy wings which were fine. We've only occasionally eaten or ordered to go from here, but we're always satisfied. This time it was disaster, and another group of patrons, presumably aware of our need to return to the counter, admitted that their order of chicken wings were unsatisfactory also. The owner did not honor the coupon we received yesterday with her franchise address so I figured screw it ... what a mistake $17.99 turned into $34 bucks. Got home, this broad put in three hot pieces of corn and (are you ready for this??) a fourth piece - FROZEN wrapped in foil. The other three appeared to have been reheated at least five times (the cob was brown!!). Then we got to the chicken....ummm original recipe resembles blackened cajun these days. First, the guy we ordered from seemed so confused that he had to restart, and used curse words through the intercom ordering system. That should have been a flag that this was a bad idea, but no, we were hungry. Next we asked for the $20 chicken tender deal (you know the one in all the ads?). We get to the window and the total is over $30 and he has no idea what number that is and seems confused. At this point my husband doesn't want to have a confrontation so he pays for it.
