I was craving fried chicken. I hadn't had KFC in years. There was a bit of sticker shock. So I downloaded the app to receive half off my first order up to $10. We decided to go all in and order the Family Meal with 16 pieces of chicken, 4 large sides and 8 biscuits. Before discounts it would be $50 so I was happy for the $10 off. They didn't have extra crispy ready so was told to come back in 20 minutes. We did. But when we came back we were told they had mistakenly turned off the fryer, it would be 9 more minutes, but they'd be happy to give us an extra large side. Ok. Sounds good to me. The chicken was very fresh and hot. The sides were good just as expected. I did go inside the KFC before placing my order on line. The worker insisted I said 12 and became loud and had an attitude Instead of trying to resolve the issue. The situation could have been handled much more professionally. We have ordered from this location a couple of times, and they never send any of the sauces that are included or the drinks, then we call customer service and they can't give us a refund or discount because these are included items. Ordered Online and paid. Order wasn't ready when I got there on Time. Waited an extra 25 minutes for the young cashier to not only get my order ready AFTER she waited on ALL the people in Line. Manager on duty was Useless and did not help her. I apologized for her poor management skills to this over worked young lady. Ordered three tacos, one the shrimp tasted pretty good, beef taco was something I could get at Taco Bell for cheaper so it was nothing special. The steak was the worst of the three, dry, unseasoned and cold. I appreciate the manager having a new one made for me that was hot but it tasted just the same. Had to use lemon and sour cream to slightly enjoy the first taco. Service was okay, server had back turned to our table most of the time when we wanted to ask a question or get ready to leave. Wasn't worth the 18 bucks for the meal which added up to 25 bucks since the tip was set to 25% on their system unless you put something else. Charged 1.18 for two small sauce cups of sour cream. I have to give this place a lot of credit. Usually people only give negative reviews but this place turned everything around. I stopped going there a while ago because it was old, the food was not fresh and the employees were always angry and apathetic. I guess they remodeled and started over. The place was sparky clean, the employees were friendly and the chicken was super fresh and hot. Even when I was walking out to the car there was an employee picking up garbage in the parking lot. I don't know why there is a negative review on the new KFC in Lantana. I always had friendly service even when it was old. The service is even more courteous and I won't be going back to Popeyes. Popeyes was rude and they keep me waiting 10 minutes for chicken tenders and did not even apologize. The associate was too busy talking on the phone. Wow, this place just renewed my love of KFC! I've been disappointed so many times by the chain. My husband suggested this for dinner today, so we went to the drive up at 3:15. Picked up our order, they were FAST! Once we got home we ate right away, I am blown away! Biscuits, HOT, delicious, flaky....mashed potatoes were HOT and gravy TASTED great, coleslaw was fresh, crispy and COLD, spot on flavor!!! The original fried chicken was perfect, hot, juicy and tasty. I am a fan once again! Maybe we got lucky, but I'm willing to try this place again! read more

I don't go to KFC that much but this experience made me feel really positive! I went through the drive through and the service was immediate and fast. And Thalia was one of the nicest fast food employees I've ever come across. She was cordial and patient and took care of me super fast. I got a tender GoCup and and the chicken is fresh and savory! I don't know why people keep saying the chicken here is dry because it's anything but. The only downside I suppose is that I didn't get a receipt for my two small orders and the potato wedges were either a bit old or fried in old oil again. But still good! I work close by and twice now I have gotten sick from their food. Stomach cramps,nausea and well you know what else. I though maybe it was a fluke the first time but it happened again no less than 2 weeks later. Also 3 co- workers also got sick eating their. They are not changing the grease or using bad chicken.
