Normally, I go vinegar slaw with my BBQ, but my wife got the mayo slaw and it was delicious. The service was fast; plenty of seating and room to get around. Everything was clean too.

A couple times have been a little…read moreoff (we ALL have off days, people), if they were short staffed but on the other end of the spectrum, the food is normally excellent. The service is usually very friendly - they have no problem joking around with you...no dry personalities reciting from corporate requirements, here. One particular occasion, we called a to-go order in and they had sold out of peaches and cream fried corn on the cobb (which is to die for). The sweetheart on the phone literally went to the Winn Dixie across the street and purchased some, so I could have it along with their fantastic, hand pattied burger. How do you ask for better service than that? You can't. Their chicken and dressing is excellent, the hoe cakes are straight out of my childhood and the catfish....the huge, plate covering pieces of delicious white meat (no slimy stuff in theirs...looking at you, chain restaurants) are my absolute favorite. We've always had overwhelmingly positive experiences at Christine's and can't wait to go back. We've been there when they're short staffed and I've had to resist the urge to ask if I can help them when I see them running around like crazy. Instead of griping when something isn't perfect, maybe figure out how you could help? It's not like they are expensive. We have no trouble grabbing our own extra napkins or going to them to ask for butter or a drink refill, ourselves. This has only happened 1-2x but cut them some slack. You're getting good food at a really good price - maybe don't be so high maintenance. Or, go to a Michelin rated restaurant, instead, if you want your every whim indulged, the moment you have it. As for us, we'll happily keep Christine's as one of our favorite local spots and return as often as possible.

The last two times, I've ordered through DoorDash, so just to give them another chance, I went to the actual location and ordered through the drive thru. The person did not repeat my order back to me, when I got to the window, they tried to charge me for someone else's order, I ordered lemonade and was not told that they only had the hibiscus lemonade and I was just given that, I asked for a Coke instead and was given a root beer which I discovered when I got home, and part of the food order was also wrong once I got home and actually looked at the food. Worst restaurant in Lafayette, TN. Probably never going back.

Spicy McCrispy extra sauce was fine, the spicy deluxe did not come with tomato chicken didn't taste ... and well the bacon quarter pounder with cheese didn't come with bacon ( please see photos ) absolutely ridiculous! Even after 2 years still the same old same old... you charged me for the bacon but didn't care enough to put it on the burger... sounds like a training issue or the very least employees not giving 2 fig's about the customers who support them getting their paycheck or both..
