I was able to pull up, order, and receive my food within 10 minutes! The employees were friendly and did not give indication of attitude or meanness. KFC has a $5 meal deal that includes chicken, a side, cookie, and biscuit. I chose the three piece chicken tenders meal, and I was pleased with the size of the tenders, the warmness of the cookie, and the buttering of the biscuit. Overall, I was happy with the quickness of my visit and if I need to stop by for a quick meal, I will make sure to keep this location in mind. read more

I recently went to KFC to order one thing and the order came out wrong. When I went back to the drive thru to get the order corrected, the employee did not want to correct the mistake but take the easy way out. Needless to say I left the store with no food and no refund. I contacted KFC customer service line to speak to someone about what happened. Three days past no response from the customer service people so I called back only to find out the store closed my complaint. No one contacted me no one wanted to hear my side of things. Bottom line is KFC in Jacksonville, Fl has terrible customer service. I will never eat at another KFC because of the outrageous behavior I encountered all the way up to corporate. I have lived in Mandarin for 22 years and this location which is a little less than 2 miles from my house is the most convenient in distance. Only once have I ever had a decent if not good experience here. I was so pleasantly surprised i told the drive thru associate that she was a welcome breath of fresh air. I love the food, but in recent years I have been verbally abused, ignored, insulted, yelled at, you name it at this location. As much as I love the food it is not worth it to be treated that way by anyone or any establishment. As with all the prior reviews I would give this location 0 stars if it were possible. Who is the franchise owner? do they not care about their business or themself to allow such abuse of human beings most importantly their customers? i know times are hard and every one is short staffed, but that is no excuse for the way people are being treated by your employees. clearly the managers are no better, but ultimately the owner of this franchise is responsible and needs to stop the "bloodshed" occurring here. Needless to say i no longer patronize this location and have chosen to keep my dignity in tact and go elsewhere. Went through the drive-thru to order an 8 count extra crispy basket. Was told it would be 20 minutes. I parked and placed the order and waited 25 minutes. Other customers also came in and ordered extra crispy chicken and we're waiting. After 25 minutes the counter person stated it would be another 27 minutes because they did not put the extra crispy chicken up. The chicken is still just as good as I remember it.. WHEN they have it. I stop by here a lot for the $5 fill ups (seriously, you can't beat 2 pieces of chicken, a side, a drink and a cookie for $5) but I know to have a plan B for whatever I want to order. This location has the WORST customer service - every time!! I have been to this location about 4 times since moving to this area. No one smiles or is friendly here. The staff don't even acknowledge you as you're standing right in front of them. I waited 5 min for a snarky employee to finally ask me "What do you want?". Then when I ordered the hot wings, I was told in a nasty, I must have interrupted her break-tone, "it's gonna be 10 min at least". They never have any food ready. I always have to wait 5-10 min before even having my order taken, and that's with no one else in the restaurant on line but me! The drive thru is worse, don't even get me started about the woman who handed me a soda out the window as it was overflowing, and dripping down her arm. Did she really think I would take this into my car?? And when I politely asked her to please reduce the amount of soda in the cup and wipe it down, and I also pointed out how it was dripping down her arm, she gave me a nasty look and walked away with it. At that point, I wouldn't even take food from her. I asked for the manager and said I want to watch as you pour my drink and pack my food to make sure no one spits in it, that's how nasty this person was to me, that I had to resort to such a drastic measure. You people need to go to Chick-Fil-A and take a lesson on how to run a fast food place! Not only are you out of the drive-thru in less than 5 minutes (and there can be 20 cars in line!) but they are polite and friendly and inviting! The 1 star is too much. This is the worst KFC. There is always a 25 min wait for chicken regardless of the time of day. The manager was working the window today and wearing the only drive-though headset and went outside on a 15 min break. People were wrapped around the building and a line inside the store. There was no contact with the people waiting in the drive through. It's sad people are conditioned at this location to wait for chicken without anyone talking to them in the drive through. After getting our 16 piece meal as I drove home I thought it smells different. It was fried in rancid oil . It was not edible. In addition we didn't get the sides that we ordered. When I took it all out of the bag at home I had the chicken, Cole Slaw instead of Mac & Cheese, 1 lg Mashed Potatoes with gravy and 1 lg Mashed Potatoes was plain (NO GRAVY AT ALL) and instead of 6 biscuits, there were just 2 wrapped up in paper and tossed in the bag. All this for a fat $37. You would think for the prices they charge that they could at least make sure you're getting what you ordered. This KFC is an epic fail! read more

Wow I have never been treated so poorly. This is the worst KFC I ever been to. From the moment I walked it I was treated horrible, there was a younger girl at the front desk she was horrible and she had a nasty attitude like she was too good to take my order or something. Then she couldn't even complete my order I just sat there waiting my receipt and it never came and then I went to sat down and then the dummy accused us of not paying because they didn't complete the transaction. I also tried to get salt packets for my food and was told not to touch the salt in a very rude way. Because of the way we're treated I spoke up and brought it to there attention and I was asked to leave which I was glad to do. Those workers need to learn how to talk to someone with respect. Just because they are miserable in life doesn't mean they should take it out on there customers. It was a heavy set manly looking woman and a little dark haired girl with a rest b face.
