We were busy when they walked in. We ended up using the kiosk. We were never greeted. We placed two separate orders had to ask for cups for each order. I went to go grab, honey from the display stand and honey had exploded on the inside. I kindly let the woman that front counter know she said don't worry I'll take care of it. Then when we went to go throw our trash away and clean up after ourselves, every single trash is overflowing and all over the floor. Extremely not food safe. When leaving, we were not spoken to you. Location 3780 E. Grand River, Howell, MI Ordered 2 piece breast and wing and tenders meal. YES!!! Finally some KFC that is made really well! For years breading on their original recipe at many locations is soggy or lacking in flavor or sometimes not too hot. Today is what I would call a perfect KFC day. I am hoping it's this location that has it together and I will continue to get great food quality. KFC is hot or miss and when your craving it and it's not to par it's such a mood killer. First of all they are rude. If I could do "0" I would. I did a mobile order at 855p to pick up at 930p. They close at 10p. OPEN sign flashing...Drive thru OPEN sign was on. Doors were locked so we went thru the drive thru where the lady and a friend in the background proceeded to tell us they had no food...the car in front got food but no fries. A rude lady said we close in 15 minutes accused us of ordering at 930...umm no sorry, we ordered at 855pm! IF YOU ARE OPEN TIL 10...have food til 10! Period. Or say you close at 930! We didn't want to leave and the background lady said we don't have food and I wanted my money back cause I was already charged. The service was absolutely terrible. My bf and I went through a while back we got a worker who didn't seem too interested in waiting on our order so much so she told my bf she couldn't hear him what so ever and he needed to stop talking and pull around. I have work in the food industry I get not being able to hear someone but having an attitude is not the way to communicate with them. Anyway we pull around nobody shows up to the window. It doesn't get worse than this place. The last few times I've been there have been awful. I've had orders completely messed up. Orders that were missing items, like a biscuit, or a cookie. Their chicken stripes are either super thin or super tiny. No quality control at all. The interior is run down and out dated, however, I believe they are remodeling now. I generally give restaurants the benefit of doubt, and understand mistakes happen, but I'm all out of chances for this place. This KFC is only serving up gross incompetence. read more

So not sure what happened here. Went in for the $20 dollar fill up special. Asked for Georgia gold sauce and was told they can't give sides. So we asked for it tossed in the sauce and was told that it would be .50 a piece then told by two people speaking through the speaker at the same time that they knew what meal would be best for me never asked what sides I wanted gave me a total and told me to pull up. What I got (I was really tired otherwise I would have just drove off.) six chicken nugget size tenders with a literal drop of sauce each two tiny sides I did not want and two cold biscuits for $13. Stay away from this place it is awful and based on the other reviews I see that nobody seems to care about the mismanagement if there is any management at all. read more

My wife went here for lunch and was over charged by a new employee. When she asked to have it corrected the Manager verbally assaulted her. Opened the register and slammed the money on the counter. When the employee apologized for the mistake the Manager told him not to worry about it and yelled "She's just a biotch (spelled so it would post). When my wife said excuse me? Woman taking the orders tonight (sep 6 at 6pm) through the drive through was so rude. The speaker kept cut out and I couldn't hear her, according to her and her attitude she told me to wait. Then when I ordered I asked to swap something and before I could finish talking a he cut me off to ask what drink I wanted... Then gave me more attitude when giving me my total. I've had it with this location. Twice I've had to call because the order was mixed up. The first time, the manager agreed to replace the meal for free and did so the next time. Last night, not only did the manager whine about how busy they were -- they weren't -- but she hung up on me when I told her that was no excuse. Then she blocked me from taking my call after I called back. The orders in both cases were $5 fill-ups. We're not talking about seven course meal. And how well is it going to go over with corporate when I tell them about the mix-ups, the hang up and the fact that when I called the franchisor to complain, I got no call back? Should have read the reviews first but the Nashville commercial was tempting! We ordered 8 pieces and only got 4 but only noticed that when we got home, 20 MINUTES AWAY! after calling the manager he said my employee said she packed it, unbelievable! He said if you come back I'll give it to you, we didn't want to but the kids were looking forward to it and that is what they forgot. I got the chicken strips basket with carolina gold flavoring. It came with three pathetic sized chicken pieces that were a little tough. The biscuit was half drenched with sauce. Well it was really hard to select a review because I wanted to give them a zero out of five because they are horrendous. After they pushed the biscuits on top of my chicken were the wings were going through the biscuits. I asked them to fix that because my son has special needs and they told me I needed to do it myself and handed me a box... that's not OK. Since when did the biscuits not come in their own box, since when are the biscuits shoved on top the chicken...this is inappropriate and I'm sure not in standing with corporate regulations. They also shorted me on my order and when I went back they were very rude and Angelica the manager I spoke to was laughing at me in front of Glenn the other manager. I spoke to you and all I wanted was to return my food and get my money back and I was left to be laughed at by both the managers and when I said I want to know why you're laughing, he threatened to call the police seriously... I am completely sure they were both on drugs even falling into each other laughing. It was not only disrespectful but uncomfortable. I had my kids with me. In my opinion they have junkies running that store. Glen and Angelica are a disgrace! They have ruined KFC IN HOWELL. I'll go elsewhere. Went thru the drive thru and ordered three chicken tender fill up boxes. I asked them to add the smoky mountain BBQ flavor to each box. A fill up box comes with a drink and it wasn't until I got to the drive thru window that I reminded the employee that he forgot to ask my drink order. As I drove home I was thinking I was overcharged. When I got home, I saw that they did add the smoky mountain sauce to each box..but it was extremely thin. I looked at my receipt and and noticed I was charged $1.50 EXTRA PER BOX FOR SAUCE. For a total of $4.50 extra. That's .50 extra per tender! I also did not receive pickles in any of the boxes, which the smoky mountain is supposed to come with. IN ADDITION, the fill up boxes come with a cookie...yep you got it...zero..Nada...none, NO cookies in any of the three boxes. I just finished writing corporate! Unacceptable service! Yesterday, my friend's mother went here to pick up dinner. The only thing that she ordered was a 12 piece chicken finger tub. First of all, she waited for 20 minutes and on top of that, the service she received was unacceptable. She asked for a few extra pieces of chicken because of the long wait and they said yeah ok. Come to find out, she didn't get extra chicken at all! What she did get was a cluster of "fried batter" dumped on the top. That level of service is inexcusable. Completely screwed up my order. Asked for two orders of each and only got one. Asked for pickles got none. Asked for butter and honey for biscuits and got none. No napkins. Was told I have to request them to get. Obviously asking doesn't get you anywhere either because I didn't get half my order but they had no problem charging me for it. Only solution they offered over phone ( I went through drive through) was to offer me 25% off my next meal. Ridiculous!!! Will let everyone know how petty they are and how they screw people out of their money for orders they paid for and don't offer to make it right other than 25% off next order. Yeah right... think anyone has time for that considering they aren't going to get everything they paid for anyways. Total scam artists there. Would not ever recommend going to KFC in Howell Michigan. This by the way is NOT the first time this has happened there. Just thought it was a kid or something that screwed up on accident.
