Arrived at the start of lunch hour. The place wasn't busy at all. One car in the drive through. Two people dining. That should have been my first clue. My 2 piece combo meal was given to me very quickly. I got my pop and tried to find a seat. EVERY booth on the east side of the building was TRASHED! Don't they ever clean the place? If it looks this bad in the dining room, do they even clean the kitchen? I didn't check the booths on the west side. Chose what appeared to be a clean high table. The chicken tasted fine. A little greasy. The biscuits are served without butter? That makes no sense. I was there 20 to 30 minutes and only two people came in and one through the drive through. They must be too busy back there to come clean the dining room or even check on it? After finishing my meal I got up and pealed myself off of the chair. It was sticky! YUCK! Wife and I had KFC last night and it was the worst chicken that we have ever had in our lives, and we are in out 70's. The breading was soggy and very greasy and very dark (like overcooked). The mashed potatoes you had to eat with a spoon because they were so runny. The only reason we didn't give Coldwater KFC a rating of 1 was because the coleslaw was good as usual. Ordered the tenders and unfortunately they were very dry and tough. Need to rotate food when it's been sitting forever in the warmers. The good side was that the help was very friendly, not your typical fast food help! read more

Don't go here... I moved to Coldwater over a year ago and didn't go here until late last fall. The one and only time I'll ever go here I got a chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and biscuits. When we got to the BOTTOM of the mashed potato container I found a clump of someone's hair. I'm pregnant so I thought I was going to throw up for a solid hour after this. I stopped at the drive thru 9:30pm Tuesday 10/30. I was kind of hesitant because where I live if you go to KFC an hour before closing your going to get slow service and bad food. The service was great and the food was good, I was very happy. read more

If I could leave a 0 Star I would. I came in on Sunday night at 8 wanting to get some white meat chicken for my wife. They were out of everything except for a couple legs and some thighs. So I got a two piece meal with fries. I got home and the leg was mangled and it had cold mashed potatoes and gravy. I went back to the store and the manager said that she would give me an upgraded meal for my trouble. So here I am today, and I go in and the head coach or whoever is there and as I try to collect on my meal that was promised, she says there wasn't anything written down and that she won't do the upgrade. I gave her the managers name and what happened and I asked when she was working next so I could come see her to get what was promised and she said she couldn't give out that information. I then told her that this is why this store has such a crappy rating, at that point she said that she didn't have to listen to me anymore and walked off. It's not the free meal, I can afford it. Gag! This place is dirty and nasty. Dirty floors, dirty tables and seating, restroom looked like one in a dumpy truck stop. The service was slow (took 15 minutes) and the food we got tasted like it was old and not fresh. The buffet was no longer used and the girl said the place was going to close up and be remodeled. This place blows. They did a remodel but its still slow as a 7 year itch. My gf and i went here tonight placed our orders and waited almost 30 minutes before i got pissed and demanded my money back. Come to find out they gave our food to another couple. Another annoyance is the lack of decent seating compared to the old one. On route to Indianapolis we stopped in for lunch because I haven't had KFC in a hot minute and really wanted a chicken sandwich, and not a healthy one. We go inside and place our order for two Zinger sandwich combos only to be told it'll take about 10 minutes because they have to make more. Not in a huge rush at that point I agreed. Well...it actually took along the line of 25 minutes....for a KFC sandwich. They kept apologizing, and we kept waiting. We were asked if we wanted a side of something on the house as we were waiting, to which we politely declined. We eventually finally got our order and they threw in 4 free chocolate chips cookies. Now that's customer service you rarely see at a fast food joint, hence why it's upgraded to a 3 star review. Sandwiches were pretty legit, but not 25 minute wait legit. read more

This has to be the worst KFC I have ever been too, the food was mediocre and the restaurant was absolutely filthy!!! You could feel the grime and dust In The air it was so filthy. It was disgusting. I wanted to walk out as soon as I saw how dirty it was, but I was hoping for the best because we really wanted fried chicken. Nope, not worth it. Waste of money and just praying we don't get sick. The food was good and fresh. The kitchen was organized and getting orders ready fast. Now the glitch, there was one young girl at the counter who appeared to be very knowledgable in her job. The problem was she could hardly be heard. I had to ask her twice to speak up and I have no hearing issues. The next problem was my food was ready and in the bag but the girl at the counter was getting overloaded with customers so my food sat for 5 minutes until I could get the girls attention. The manager saw all of this and felt it more important to be doing something else in the kitchen area. By the time I left, there was a line up to the door and the poor counter person was still alone. The manager of this location needs to be retrained in the importance of customer service and not getting the green beans into a pan. read more

Customer service at the coldwater KFC is for a lack of better words horrendous. Cashier slamming cups down on the counter top down. Very rude and short with all the customers. Inconsiderate with some of the elder people that came in. No eye contact was made. Looking in the other direction while taking orders. When we finally did get out food the gentleman that brought it out just dropped the tray on the counter while yelling the order out as he walked away. Packed the cookie in the bottom of the box under neath the chicken. By time you find it it's soaked in all the grease. Last place I'd ever eat again. KFC is literally the best place ever to get chicken. They dont have the buffet here but oh well it still gets 5 stars.
