My cousin requested another sandwich so I let my niece order while I ran to the car. The order was a 6 inch sub add teriyaki chicken. THATS IT. The young lady says "your total is $29.19". So I ask, for a 6" sub add a little meat and she says "yea our prices have gone up." She was charging me $20 to add on the teriyaki chicken (look at receipt attached). TWENTY DOLLARS. And instead of looking and saying "hmmm this doesn't look right." She held strong that the prices increased. And I say mam, but you see how this looks right??? Still holding strong to a pricing increase, I paid and left with every intention to contact their corporate office. However, when I left it still wasn't sitting right with me so I called other local subways to get a price quote and a young lady said that for the meal I got, at her restaurant it would've been $9.09 or something -- so I immediately called the location I'd just went to to ask them again. As soon as I started questioning, the young lady said, "oh you're the girl that just left? My manager is on the way up here to make it right". So I got back up there for my receipt adjustment. SO OK // I get there. The manager said everything but "our apologies" -- she tried to OVER explain what she thought the worker MEANT, which I could care less about. She refunded me and then rang it up correctly. I do believe it should've been FREE for the simple fact that I had to CALL and COME BACK. Honestly, no one in the building had customer service skills. Just a reminder to always CHECK YOUR RECEIPT and ask questions. The manager said, she pressed a wrong button and I'm thinking NO BUTTON in subway should be ringing up a thing for $20. If you ask me, they're stealing -- but no one asked me. I can just imagine how many other ppl they got like this. And before you ask why I even paid $30 for a 6" -- I don't even know! My family was hungry so I brought it.

Had to wonder how long has that junk been sitting there getting stale and soggy under a steamer. Sad to see such an awesome place go down like this, but now it's a hard pass for me. The restaurant/ full bar has high ceilings, open area seating partitioned by potted fake plants and a mix of high tops and tables. Colorful murals and bright cobalt blue tiles splashed through white brick walls. Luke was quick to bring waters and take our drink orders. He explained the menus and offered his favorites when asked. We asked about "aji amarillo" and he explained it was one of their several accompanying sauces. He promptly brought a sample in a ramekin with two spoons. It was very good. Mild and similar to a weak but flavorful mustard colored chili sauce. Other sauces included hot honey and cilantro & garlic aioli, great on their chicken and bbq ribs, my selected entree. The bird was deliciously moist and seasoned. The half chicken was cut up in manageable pieces and plated with French fries, a fairly good slaw and the other part of the duo; the bbq ribs. The sauce was sweet and sticky- and the meat pulled nicely from the bone. The entree was substantial. My wife's build your own bowl started with pulled chicken and your choice of additional ingredients. The bowl was a very good mix of flavors and textures and enough left for a take home meal. The menu is full of chef selections, handhelds, soups and salads and bowls. They offer happy hour drinks and apps until 6p and Mon- Thur there are select specials. We will definitely return with friends and may even try their weekend brunch.

So this is not a restaurant but rather a takeout spot so no dining in. They have a large menu but they're known for the rotisserie chicken and latkes so that's what we ordered. They have an early bird menu and daily deals that offer incredible value. We got the lunch or early bird special which was around $10 for a 1/4 chicken, latke and coleslaw. That's cheaper than McDonald's meal these days. Even without the specials the prices are very fair. The food is awesome, probably the best roast chicken I've ever had. It was juicy and tender and the skin had the most delicious seasoning. The latkes were just as amazing, still crisp even though we had picked up the food a couple of hours before consuming. They were perfectly seasoned, a hint of onion, just perfection. We also had coleslaw and macaroni salad and these were also great but standard. Service was quick and efficient, again no table service so can't comment on that. Overall this is a hidden gem. Value is not only fantastic but the food is really amazing as well.
