Very disappointed with the quality and service. I was at the drive thru where I was the 3rd car in waiting. I waited about 5-8 min before it was my turn to order. After that I waited literally close to 25 min to receive the order. The server did apologize without expression "sorry for the wait" and didn't really explain why it took 30 min for a drive thru. I did see through my window pane that the 2 previous drivers did not have big orders. I live 3 min away. You'd think that the 30 min wait was due to making food. But when I got home, my 3 piece fried chicken were warm, and my side mash potato was definitely warm-cold. Thumbs down! read more

Busy Friday afternoon of errands and commuting. Craving some fried chicken. Stopped by kfc about 6pm. Ordered a 12 piece meal and got a free velvet cake. The drive through wait was not long. You know that sudden and urgent KFC craving you get, usually after a day of debauchery but there's NOTHING better than that hot crispy bucket of chicken with soft fresh biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy and delicious cole slaw. My bf and I had such a craving last Saturday evening. We ordered the 8piece meal deal with 4 biscuits and mashed potatoes and gravy and cole slaw. We opened the bucket to find 3 wings, 2 legs, and 4 thighs! NO BREASTS! What? The chicken had obviously been sitting for quite a while. Barely hot, no longer crispy, and just tasted.....old. I don't know what it is about this location, but the order never seems to come out right. Stopped by yesterday, ordered through the drive-thru, waited for the food to come out and was handed a bag. Asked if this was everything and they said - yep, you're good. Only to find out when we got home that they had only included half of the order. You'd also think they'd pack some utensils/napkins with your order - nope, that's too much to include with your order. Nothing like paying $30 for $15 worth of food. To top that off, this location doesn't have grilled chicken, so if you're looking for grilled, you'll want to look somewhere else. read more

I'm not really sure where to start with this place. As far as the food is concerned... it was good and what you would expect when ordering taco bell/kfc. The people that work here seems fairly nice. However.. during our trip here on our way home from legoland.. they couldn't get the order right. First as part of our order.. we ordered 3 tacos.. no lettuce.. just meat and cheese... in return we got 3 tacos with lettuce.. so we asked if we could get the 3 tacos without lettuce... just meat and cheese.. and one of the workers (not the one that we ordered from) was nice enough to let us keep the wrong tacos.. GREAT.. but then when we got the tacos..we only got 2 tacos and it only had meat... no cheese.. so we told our daughter to just suck it up and eat it with no cheese.. she unhappily obliged.... So when she finished these tacos she was still hungry and wanted a couple more tacos.. this time she wanted the doritos taco.. so we ordered 3 doritos tacos.. no lettuce.. just meat and cheese... and what do u know.. we got 3 doritos tacos with lettuce.. again.. we had to send it back...it was pretty frustrating.. Order 3 chicken meal deal and 6 wings. The wings were okay. But I wanted 3 drumsticks, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, no soda but and additional biscuits as replacement. Everything was okay until I looked for my 2 drumsticks. I ended up with 3 chicken thighs instead. Since I let the phone ring off the hook and no answer; I'm write them a review. This place is horrible! They're line moves slower than a snail. They never have grilled chicken, if they do its a "5 minute" wait and that turns into 13 minutes. They always get orders wrong, ALWAYS. They never give you napkins or sporks. They try to pass off some half baked chicken as "grilled" like I wouldn't know. The person taking the orders can never hear, I have to yell. I went there last night and they took a long time, then when I got my food is was really cold. I pull around go inside, and this young guy, about 5'10, latin and thin. I didn't get his name but I hope that they give him manager placement, he was super kind, on his brake I believe, and genuinely apologized and quickly went into the back to fix it, and brought it to be as fast and fresh as he could. and again said he was sorry, he said we have some new people that are still trying to figure things out. he didn't throw anybody under a bus or blame just offered some in site to what had happened, awesome workmanship and I hope even though he was young they promote him soon. read more

Last month I ordered an 8 piece original. They seemed very busy and unorganized. The lady that managed to put my order together checked my bucket of chicken one last time. I told myself that should be good. When I get home I found out I have only 5 pieces of chicken instead of 8. So, last night I was craving kfc. So I go back and order an 8 piece and I told the manager that I was missing 3 pieces last time. The manager claimed that this never happens in her store. This is instead of telling me how sorry she is for my inconvenience. She made feel in front of these other customers as a crook. I called this location and told them about getting ill and they stated there has been several complaints and calls that came in about food poisoning. Did I just give a fast food joint 4 stars? I sure did! Having to go through a KFC drive-thru in my Pj's isn't normally something I would bring to anyone's attention, but sometimes it has to be done. This is a dual Taco Bell/KFC. Normally places like this creep me out, but advertising tells me they are running a special that includes TWELVE chocolate chip cookies. They were out of grilled chicken when I ordered, but informed me they had some on the grill and it would be about 4 minutes and to park and they'll bring it out. The nice kid at the window upgraded my kids drink and also gave me a free one and apologized for the wait. The fact is, sometimes you have to delve into the dirty world of fast food. This is by far the worst KFC in North County San Diego. The chicken wasn't done, they serve the food warm and give you biscuits that look recycled. Don't know what happened to that place but the owner needs to put on an apron and do a undercover boss type situation over there. Drove here while on vacation to feed my teenagers. We walked in and ordered. When we sat down every table was filthy and the floor in the restaurant was too. There were no other customers in the restaurant and it was 4:30 in the afternoon. I wiped off my own table and we sat down. Some other customers came in and the staff was blatantly rude to them. I went to KFC last night (drive thru) and within 30 mts of eating a "twister" meal I got extremely sick. I know I had food poisoning for sure, maybe worse. What's worse is, I was driving and all of sudden it came over me. I felt dizzy, nauseous, and actually threw up while driving (luckily I had a bag). I was stuck at a stoplight when this phenomenon happened. I haven't felt that sick in a long time (years). I feel like I should get more than just my money back. This review is more directed to Yum brands , lead company since they direct , if you can call it that, the KFC, and Taco Bells throughout the U.S. ( and the world, for that matter) I've finally given up on KFC. I think THEY lost the Original Recipe along the trip of growth and somewhere between management and profit margin. Quality is very hit or miss, the the misses the big winner. Still love the biscuits and cole slaw, but I doubt that's a valid reason to stop buy to buy. And those TV ads, they seen to take away any class that once was. TacoBell...used to be simple, no longer, I don't go anymore. Just think the originator of the crispy taco is now a "gee, should I stop fast food restaurant ? Naw, why bother." We ordered an 8 piece meal with half original recipe and half grilled. The guy taking the order said "we have original, extra crispy, and grilled" so we repeated that we wanted half original and half grilled. He keyed it in very slowly so we thought maybe he was new. He then went outside looking at his cell phone. The woman putting the chicken in the bucket was talking on a phone the whole time. No customer service skills from either of them.
