Surprisingly the food was hot and fresh. I was a little hesitant on coming to this location because of the bad feedback I've heard from friends about this place. Glad I decided to check them out anyway. The employees on the other hand showed lack of good customer service. The place was busy when I dined here. Employees kept it clean for the most part. Food is always fresh and never old. The staff is very professional and courteous. They go the extra mile to make to make your experience a pleasant one. I don't do drive-thru so the interior is important to me and this store is a newer one so the aesthetics are very nice and clean. read more

She called out the Manger who just kept trying to get me to up my order instead of giving me a refund. We were In the mood for pot pies last night and decided to try KFC for the first time. We call 3 or 4 times over a 15-minute period and all we get is voice mail. We drive in from our country place - 13 mile drive each way - park the car (we believe in doing our part to try and save the planet and avoid drive-thrus) - doors are locked and the guy says we must use the drive-thru. I pull into drive thru - the menu sign's lights are out so it is practically unreadable. I ask for pot pies and am informed that they don't have any - something that I would have known if someone would have just answered the phone. Our almost first time is the last time. I hope your store goes out of business, your franchisee takes a financial bath, and the local small business, Julio's Chicken, continues to thrive. I just spent over 20 minutes waiting on my drive thru order. I finally had to go inside to get it. It was an order of tenders and one wing and one breast. The employees acted confused and the so call manager could only offer excuses. A thank you or you are welcome would have been nice. Of course the food itself was great but the service can be improved. read more

This business hasn't been opened but about 6-7 months (if that long) and we decided to finally try it out today for the first time. We eat out a lot so we see lots of fast food places. Outside parking lot and landscaping is well manicured and appealing. That's where it stops. Inside the restaurant was shocking. Out of the 10-12 tables in the place there were 2 other customers besides us and not one single table was clean!!!! There were crust crumbs, trash and napkins on the tables and chairs. We chose the "least dirty" table and brushed away crumbs. Meal was ready In about 5-6 minutes. We had 3 meals that all were supposed to have biscuits. Only one had a biscuit so I went to ask about getting 2 more. I was told that none were cooked and it would be 10 minutes! We ate the rest of our meal and I went back to ask about the 2 biscuits and after standing looking for someone to help me for 2-3 minutes, FINALLY a worker came to the front. They didn't remember that they owed us the biscuits and because I was standing there for an extended period of time I was able to get a good look at the kitchen. There was food and grease all over the floors and not one of the 4 workers seemed too notice anything about the kitchen or dining room appearance! My last time there and I will share this with friends. Athens has too many chicken places to waste my time there. I will spend my money at Julios next door (which I love) or chicken express (also loved). Unfortunately we found Popeye's in Athens to be in the same filthy condition about a month after it was opened. We boycott it too! read more

Pulled into drive thru at 5 pm on Sunday. Ordered the 10 piece and a double Cole slaw. They said sorry we're out of Cole slaw. I said okay then just get me the 8 piece white and they said ok but it will be 20 minutes. I said okay and I pulled to the side and waited for 25 minutes. I got out to walk into the lobby to check on it and they had a sign up that said sorry, Lobby is closed. ???? They finally brought it to me. Moral of this story is Athens has plenty of chicken places to go to and I'm not going back to this one. If you own a restaurant and cannot make food and clean the lobby and bathrooms you either need to hire more people oclean you need to find a different job. read more
