We just left kens pizza. We ordered and when we sat down, the tables, chairs, and high chairs are absolutely disgusting. The caked on dirt and grime is insane. I was so grossed out that we got up and requested to stop the order and they refunded it. I have never been so grossed out before. I can not believe we ever ordered pickup from there. We will never again thats for sure. The chairs were so grimy our shirts were sticking to them. I used my wipes to try to wipe it and it was so caked on I couldn't get it off. These pics were just the edge side of the table I was sitting at. So for anyone else that orders pickup from there and isn't aware of the inside conditions like us, this is your warning. read more

Went for lunch today, absolutely worst pizza parlor in this area. The lettuce was like left over from yesterday. The first pizzas on the display were all burned crust, no pasta and the manager was having to do all positions. We have too many good pizza places in Athens for this one to even be considered. I always feel at home here. Wilt and the crew work hard at keeping fresh pizza and slap bar available nonstop. I love that I can ask for any flavor I want and they make it on the buffet! I totally should have listened to the reviews. Dark and dingy and lots of water damage to the ceiling. Dust caked on the blinds. Just super grimy place. I still decide to try the buffet. Salad bar was really good.. if I had SILVERWARE. Asked one of the 7 employees for silverware and was told they thought they didn't have any. What? No silverware? Another customer came up to me to show me where to find silverware in the bins on the wall. Strange, right? Next the pizza buffet. There were 2 slices of pizza. Yep, that's it. 2 slices of cold vegetable pizza. All other pans were empty. I watched the 7 employees do absolutely nothing. Finally put some pizza out.. all diners rushed to the buffet to get pizza. I just gave up at this point. I will not return. I would suggest a match to this entire establishment. read more

Food is great but the restaurant is less than attractive. In the center of the restaurant there is a whole in their ceiling with insulation showing. While we were there today, it was raining outside and they had to place two buckets on the ground cause of leaks coming through. Again the food is great just an eye sore. read more

Offered us the buffet before it was ready. Asked for veggies or cheese pizza & nothing was put out but mega meat pizzas. I am sure some people prefer tons of meat, but when requested something without meat should be put on the buffet. As we were paying they put out pasta, garlic bread & dessert pizza. $8.99 buffet, $26.00 for 2 without tip. Too much for barely mediocre pizza& the buffet is not ready to serve. Hey Ken, I hope you're reading this because you need to either put a boot in the ass of your staff or fire them. This is our first and only visit to your restaurant. We were not greeted when we walked in and had to ask "is this a seat yourself place" as none of the girls behind the counter or the boy cutting pizza seem to give a rats furry rear that we were just standing there. After cleaning three tables one of the girls finally asked what we wanted. After the sticker shock for the buffet we reluctantly went with it just so we wouldn't have to wait. Some of the food was just ok, the rest was just mediocre. My glass was empty for a while and even though one girl cleaned table right next to us, she didn't take time to check if I needed a refill. I actually walked behind the counter and got my own damn refill. If you're going to have mediocre food, you should at least have outstanding customer service. This place has neither great food or great service; I will eat at a "just ok" place if the service is good. Don't see myself ever coming back here. I will at least give your staff credit for keeping the tables clean. That seemed to be the only thing they were interested in, in the dinning room. 9/29/17 UPDATE At the request of my wife we decided to give Ken's a 2nd chance. Just like before we walked in and no one greeted us as we just stood there waiting. We glanced over at the salad bar and it looked awful with wilted lettuce and veggies. It was unkept with dressing slipped everywhere and food on the floor. I promise there won't be a third chance. This place ought not be serving food; not even to a pig pen. read more

It's a nice & easy pizza buffet & salad bar. Good & convenient place to get pizza! The restroom is only a one-seater, so it might get crazy if it's busy & you just want to wash your hands! The pizza is pretty good, though. I'd definitely come back! read more

If you want cheap pizza and have very modest expectations about the food, this might be the place for you. The restaurant appears to be in a former Pizza Hut building, and unfortunately doesn't match the quality of a typical Pizza Hut. The salad bar is basic, but OK. I did like that it had pickled okra. As it was a lunch buffet, we tried many different pizzas and none of them impressed. The tomato sauce the restaurant uses is very mild and a little flavorless. The dessert pizza was served on a crust that was actually under-cooked. One of the better things was a skillet hash brown with potatoes, cheese, and bacon served in a deep dish pizza pan. I was really impressed with this place. The service was excellent and very friendly. The dining area was clean. They have a menu or you can have the buffet. I had the buffet which was very fresh. All of the different pizzas that I tried were very good. I thought the price was reasonable, especially for a pizza place. Im pretty disappointed with this place. I hate fast food chain pizza so I ordered pizza from Kens last night. They delivered quickly which was cool. I ordered a Pepperoni pizza for the stoners i was hanging out with so they wouldnt eat mine. The lady on the phone recommended the chicken bacon and ranch pizza that they were known for. Willing to try new things I was all for it. The pepperoni pizza was a bust. The sauce was so gross my stoner friends each had a piece and waved a white flag. The dog wouldnt even eat it. The ranch pizza was surprisingly good, my friend and I destroyed that thing. However here we are next day fighting over the bathroom. I was very impressed with the selection of pizza on the buffet. When I placed my order, the hostess asked if I had any special requests, to which I asked for pineapple and ham. Not only did they make one fresh for me, it was delivered to my table. The pizza crust is fresh not frozen and made daily. The salad bar was well stocked and very impressive. The buffet has desert pizzas every day, and on Wednesday, the day I was there, they also have buffalo wings. I would recommend ken's Pizza to everyone. read more

The last time we ate here it was great. Food was fresh. There was a great variety of the buffet. But that was 5 years ago. My family and I went last week and there was like no pizza for the buffet until we were walking out the door. The salad bar was ok but the lettuce, eggs, ham, and pickles didn't taste fresh.
