There used to be a chicken house called Terrace Garden beside Hopocans chicken house, it was tore down many years ago. One thing they did was to do away with the dark rye bread and replaced it with wheat. The rye bread was always given clear back to the 1950's why they decided to mess with tradition is beyond me. The hot rice is overcooked to mush and is not very good. The chicken seems to not have the same taste not sure if they are still using lard or changed that also. Some things that made a restaurant an icon you just don't mess with. Let me say the food is not that bad but could use some improvement. Hopefully they will see this review and take steps to correct their path they are on before it causes them financial hardship. I called to order a sheet pizza and large pizza, went in 10 mins before I said I needed the order and was RUDELY told, "you said 130pm so it's not 130" I said ok, well I'll be back and she just shook her head at me. This pizza is hit or miss, sometimes it's the best pizza and sometimes it's burnt and dry and awful. So it's a gamble.
