It was like ambulance chasers after a disaster. In this month alone I have received multiple calls from Asset Realty, which are all blocked, and they don't seem smart enough to check the MLS listing. If they did they would see the house was sold several months ago. I have filed formal complaints with both the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communication Commission about their repeated attempts to get my business in helping sell my home; which I did not need as I was 100% completely satisfied with the realtor I had with Windemere in Issaquah.

We calculated how much money we were getting after their fees and all the repairs they had done (for our 1990 house that was in great shape) and it turned out to be 65% of the rent. If you need anything be prepared to interact with their robust team of offshore folks in the Philippines. We are still unclear why we needed our septic pumped 2x within 2 years and were quoted $3-4k each time as they did not send us the detailed breakdown of the requested work. We had a suspicion that the folks they use for maintenance and for other repairs were financially incentivized or tied to the company as we did not receive multiple bids and it looked like SJA had ties to the company doing the work. Shout out to Kayla Schwartz who never answered any of my emails until I cc'd Claudette Scott. They did not seem to fully do walk throughs and left our property and wood floors covered in dog pee pads during the walk through. We requested that they not allow tenants to use our fireplace and found they had left that in the listing so we were legally obligated to allow it. Neat. If you want to lose significant amounts of value and gain 0 value except for a huge headache, SJA is the property management firm for you!

I had a great experience with Veronica when selling my house. The market was not very favorable to…read moresellers at the time, with interest rates at a high, and many of the buyers were put off by the relatively smaller yard, but she managed to reach out to thousands of prospective buyers, and get at least a hundred people to actually show up at the house. I also had a tight timeline because I had to leave the US within a couple of months. In the end she managed to reach the right buyer. During the preparation phase, she did her own inspection of the house to get ahead of any serious issues. She then put me in touch and reached out with the necessary contractors to get any high-priority repairs needed. Finally she handled staging the house to make it look as pretty as possible. Throughout the selling process she and her team held ten days of open houses, and over 50 individual showings. She followed up with many of them, as well with other agents to get a feel for how the market was doing. Because of that we got a good feeling for why the house wasn't selling and then made further changes. When we got an offer, she tried to make the closing and negotiations as smooth as possible, and tried to handle most of the stressful things behind the scenes. She is friendly, smart and very hard-working. She will get your house in front of the eyes of a LOT of people, and then get feedback from them and gradually suggest fixes to make it more likely to sell.
