The tutor bios online along with the director's chat with my son gave him a better idea on who to work with.

Tutoring Club, however, was very inclusive and accommodating from the start. I have the highest regard for Anil and his son, who run this center. They are soft-spoken, humble, polite, and--most importantly--very understanding and flexible. Before joining, both of my kids had difficulties with comprehension and writing. While it took some time, the dedicated tutors at Tutoring Club made a real difference. Their efforts helped strengthen my kids' reading and writing skills, which clearly showed in their most recent CAASPP scores. I credit the Tutoring Club for this progress. If you're looking for a tutoring center that is not only effective but also INCLUSIVE and supportive, Tutoring Club is truly worth exploring. I would recommend them anytime, to anyone.

The owner Anil is the greatest when it comes to making the kids feel welcomed and seen and he's great with communicating with the parents. Both kids have always been tutored for math, and just recently I reached out to see if Tutoring Club tutors chemistry - and they do! Anil and team, thank you for giving the kids confidence in their subjects as they navigate through the San Ramon school system. I am grateful to have you help the kids with things I know I can't do and I'm blessed to be able to lean on you guys with helping my kids.

My ADHD 4th grader has been coming here for English help for over a year. They start with a very…read morethorough 3-hour assessment, after which they're able to tell you about your kid's strengths and weaknesses in great detail. At $150 (or more or less depending on the promotion), I think the assessment itself is worth doing even if you don't end up purchasing their tutor services. After reviewing results, they sell you an intimidating package. I say intimidating because at $75/hour for 1-on-1 tutoring, a 60-80 hour plan becomes a very significant expenditure, but if like me you know your kid needs it then it's worth it. They typically will recommend coming at least twice a week to start, and there's a detailed lesson plan with multiple workbooks for vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing (for English, but they also have math tutoring). One thing I really like are the monthly check-ins where the center director Mona shares exactly what the kid is working on, how much progress, and upcoming lessons. They're also very flexible and accommodating regarding schedule changes, your concerns about the direction of learning or progress, etc. I feel like it's pricey but you do get what you paid for, and actually the rate is reasonable considering it's private tutoring. After the initial package runs out, you'll be able to purchase hours at a little more discount. Anyway, given my son's condition we'll probably be with the center as long as he has homework to do.

I like it here, my kid likes it here, and she seems to be learning. Although anything would have helped my little struggling kid. The neighborhood is a tiny bit sketch (by Tri-Valley standards i guess), but it's fine. It's near a dollar store and a pub. If you'd like to connect the dots, you may. But anyhoo, if your kid is struggling with math, take them here. You'll see a nice improvement. We're leaving for a bit, only because we have to tighten some finances. But we'll be back for sure.

She breaks things down algorithmically and gives practical real-world problem statements that help students truly understand how to apply what they're learning. I ended up signing up for the bridge the gap program and writing program. It was advertised for 30 hours. It's a week program - and when you sign up - I signed up for 9-12 ( 3 hours)--- so I figured the "30 hours" was for 2 weeks. I will show screen shots. The business owner told me when signing up to give my sons email. Days before -- no email on what to bring. I messaged Anshika, the business owner and asked her what to bring. She said no need to bring anything -- and that the class is now 9:30-11:30. So class is cut down 1 hour. This weeks class is only 4 days - which would mean it's 8 hours of instruction. She explained that most kids can not sit that long and that her teachers are highly qualified and that we are paying a cheap price for what we are getting. She said she would give us the extra hour for free-- even though our receipt indicates the class is 9-12. $335 is not cheap for a 4 day class. First day of class- we are the only participants in this class. We are told that my son has huge gaps and that his writing is messy. 2nd day - I mention that he does have adhd but he has ok grades. He is not disruptive and he is willing to learn. 30- 45 mins later - I get a call that because I am unsatisfied with the program that she will credit me and that I can pick up my son at anytime. She said they are not equipped to teach someone who has adhd and to mention it on Yelp. I was credited my full amount for both classes that I signed up. I do not recommend this business. They have highly qualified teachers that are not willing to teach someone who has learning gaps per the owner. The owner should not be in customer service.

Teacher actually has good reputation because my daughter said she has some classmates come from Stockton! She got a 2380 in the real test (her diagnostic test was only 1940, after the test, her general counselor analyzed what were her weaknesses so she could really work on those parts). Class management was satisfying, teacher assistant reported to us how well she was doing, so we could keep tracking her progress. Later, we had a counseling meeting with their counselor and agreed that extracurricular was important but also her weakness since we didn't know much about how and what to do was good for her. Then we joined IvyMax's counseling program. I have to say, this one year so far, overall is good, even though not all the time being extremely satisfying, they have been adjusting and coordinating, willing to listen and communicate. My daughter now enjoys participating in their students actives. They have provided many volunteering opportunities and encouraged my daughter to try and challenge. I have seen how my daughter have changed!
