My older daughter is very picky and was looking for something special. She wanted strawberry chocolate, and one of the associates (I wish I knew her name!) kindly suggested a milk chocolate bar with strawberries and tiny crispy pearls inside. My daughter absolutely loved it! That employee was amazing--so patient, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to her for making our visit extra memorable. Another thing that impressed me was the packaging. Everything was wrapped so beautifully and felt very luxurious. The sturdy paper bag with the Läderach logo, the elegant tissue paper, and even a complimentary greeting card made the whole experience feel extra special. It's those little touches that make a difference, and I really appreciated that they included all of it at no additional cost. For such a small shop, they sure offer quite an assortment of chocolates. My youngest chose a starfish and a sea turtle. They were $2.50 apiece. I chose a key lime cream in milk chocolate. A Dutchie (caramel/peanuts). And a sea salt caramel in dark chocolate. They were all so smooth and decadent. Not cheap, but very much worth it. Service was a bit slow that day. After we had made our choices and I paid, the young woman working that drizzly afternoon offered a piece each on the house. Lol. That was a bit backwards if she was trying to get more sales! I tried a blueberry cream in white chocolate. Its richness and creaminess took me by surprise. I would definitely recommend it. Afterwards, I did some research on this little place. It was hard not to buy one of everything. I purchased the pistachio halava, pistachio marshmallows, pistachio baklava and sampled the pistachio Turkish Cotten candy (ooohhh soooo good). The woman who took care of me was super friendly and helpful. They have samples of a lot of their items, so it was nice to try the halava (since I typically don't like it) before buying. I definitely now have a reason to visit Sawgrass Mills.
