Hoffman's Chocolates is a place you definitely want to visit. This place has many options in their sweet shoppe for any sweet tooth from their own chocolate creations to one of the best creamy ice cream choices. Hoffman is a Florida based chocolatier, and they make their own chocolate which is amazing. I love chocolate, but I am very picky on quality, and there is a smoothness to their chocolates that sets it above the rest. I've been here many times and figured it was definitely time to leave them the 5 star review they well deserve. The staff is always very nice and, like many places, allow you to taste test the ice cream flavors. They also make their own mixtures with their own chocolates which are incredible! This time around I went with the classic Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream, and it was delicious. I've had other ice cream flavors on visits such as pistachio, strawberry, mousse tracks, butterscotch bomb, and stellar coffee. Also all delicious! They used to do cakes, but I'm not sure why that was stopped. I remember ordering one for a birthday many years ago, and it was fantastic. This is a place for the whole family! Last minute shopping for the right Valentine's Gift and thought Hoffman's was a good choice. The two employees were super helpful and explained a few of their fresh chocolate treats. The employees offered samples of one of their Raspberry Cream Dark Chocolate treats. I immediately took her up on the offer and loved the creamy chocolate delightful hit to my thankful palate and brain. The giant chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels and marshmellows definitely drew my attention. Several items were specifically designed for Valentines Day including the long stem chocolate roses and the pink heart shaped boxes of chocolates. I recently came here because I was dying for dessert right after work so I stopped here with my wife after finding it on Yelp! Parking is decent to find, the place shares a lot with a multitude of other stores. When I walked in, it was empty so I was skeptical, but I was greeted as soon as I opened the door and one of the girls stopped what she was doing and walked to the other bar area where they have the chocolate and icecream and told us let her know when we're ready. Both of us decided to get a scoop of icecream as well as some chocolates to go. I opted for the Caramel macchiato flavor and it was amazing, it had caramel swirls mixed into it and chocolate chunks as well. I would've liked a bit more coffee flavor personally but overall a great combination of flavors. The chocolates were decent, nothing really stood out and for the proce they charge by weight, you would think you were ordering some artisanal chocolate shop. I probably won't get chocolate from them again because of this unfortunately. The place is very nice on the inside with a couple little tables to sit at and a choclate making section where they work as you walk in. You can also by a ton of different pre packaged and pre-selected choclate boxes from the walls for any occasion! A nice icecream place but subpar choclate shop. Came here on an impromptu ice cream stop, and I'm so glad I did. Instantly, my husband and I were greeted and offered help. They have a wide selection of chocolates and treats. I can't recall the exact name, but I got a brownie fudge chocolate ice cream flavor, and my gosh, it was incredible. My favorite part was encountering some of the brownie bites inside. I got gummy bears as a topping, which just really hit the spot. My husband ordered the caramel macchiato ice cream, which was so creamy. Not overpowering in coffee taste either. After ice cream, we ended up ordering a few chocolate truffles to go. Amaretto, key lime, and a raspberry chocolate. Sweet treat to end our work day! (You can get a whole half gallon for that price at the grocery store.....2 if it's on BOGO!) I had already had dinner and was just looking for a dessert when I was in the Fountains Shopping Center. I stopped in for ice cream and noticed they had a Yelp Check-in offer for "2 free toppings" with an ice cream purchase. I decided to get a scoop of Banana Cream Pie ice cream and showed my Yelp offer to the young man behind the counter. He didn't know anything about it so he asked another young man. He had never heard of it either; and then he asked a female employee. She said yes I get one free topping & I had to show her that it said "2 free topping." I had the hot fudge & almonds. The ice cream scoop became a sundae with the 2 toppings and it was really good; but I don't know if it was worth almost $8 by the time I left a tip. Yummy chocolate sweets! Hoffman's has many locations, this one is located within the Fountain Shops. It's a cute boutique style shop. It's bright clean well stocked and organized. There is plenty of parking but during peek hours it might prove a little challenging. When I come in to this store I'm usually buying gifts for the chocolate lovers in my life. However nine times out of ten I'll get a special treat for myself. An item I can never resist since childhood...the caramel apple with nuts. A fun little ice cream and chocolate shop tucked inside a shopping area. The parking lot was a touch difficult as they are on the main strip and that parking fills up fast. So we had to park in a larger lot area a little walk away. Not a huge deal - get those steps in for more chocolate enjoyment! They are a smaller boutique style store with candy and packaged items to the right and then their cold chocolate case and ice cream to the left. There are a few seats outside if you want to eat before you go. Hubs got some ice cream, I had a marshmallow chocolate stick, which is my fave go to for chocolate fixes. The marshmallow was tasty and hit the sweet tooth just right. Cashier was friendly and helpful. She offered a loyalty card, but we passed as we don't live in the area. OMG!!! TASTY STUFF!!!!! My husband and I were walking around in the Fountain Shopping Center and saw this place so we dropped in to investigate. Glad we did. It was late in the afternoon so getting ice cream was out of the question but since we live locally we wanted to see what was offered for future reference.I am glad we did. I tried the Coffee Chip and was blown away by how flavorful it was! Between the the chocolate swirl and the little chips that look like tiny peanut butter cups but actually have an added coffee flavor I was hooked. We made a return visit a couple of nights later and I truly enjoyed my cup of ice cream. Bonus feature: Ice cream is very much an indulgent treat for me. I must watch my sugar intake so ice cream is a rarity. What really brings a smile to my face is they do offer some sugar free chocolate treats!!!! When leaving a business across the street we decided to check out Hoffman's. They have a large assortment of candy and they also sell ice cream. They will also let you sample the ice cream we found a few flavors we liked and went back a couple of evenings later for dessert. A "small" cup came with two large scoops and they will mix the flavors. I ate half the cup and took the rest home to finish another night. I will be back to try some of their other flavors. The staff was really friendly and upbeat. I ended up just buying some different candy bars to try. My favorite one was the milk chocolate. I like how it comes in different sections so if you want to share your chocolate bar, it is easy to do. I love chocolate and my friend raves about this place. I thought the candy was okay. It does taste like high-quality but I like more flavor to my chocolate. It could be that this chocolate is so pure and they take out a lot of the gunk that is in other chocolate? I like all price levels of chocolate so I'm used to eating higher quality chocolate and a dollar candy bar. I just didn't really love the chocolate here. I will give them another try and get some ice cream next time. I've been eating too much ice cream lately so wanted to stay away from that. Luckily Hoffman's has both ice cream and chocolate! Located in the Fountains shopping plaza, you might not be able to park right in front, but going to Hoffman's is worth a little walk. The staff couldn't have been nicer when I visited with my boys. They were all smiles as they provided us with samples of ice cream and fudge. There is a nice variety of both and of course, the primary attraction for me.....chocolate! 12 year old (with brand new braces) decided on Watermelon Sorbet. My son absolutely loved it! It was creamy but really cold....perfect for a sore mouth. 13 year old enjoyed his peanut butter fudge and we both adored our chocolates. I tried a couple of peanut butter and caramel chocolates but my absolute favorite was the plain milk chocolate. I have been doing a little chocolate taste test in the area lately and Hoffman's was my favorite. There are many chocolate creations you can buy as gifts. Felt like I stepped into Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory upon arrival. It smelled like heaven inside. My only con is you cannot buy pieces of chocolate, only by the pound. I got the small cup and they top it up so much!! In the picture I already ate some of it and there is still so much. The ice cream was really tasty. I think it was around 6.50 but for the amount of ice cream and the flavors they had I think it was worth it. They have so many chocolates (chocolate bark, chocolate apples, chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows) cookies, and other desserts on top of the ice cream they sell there. When you go into the shop it has the ice cream shop smell and it's an overall nice store. The woman and man who served me and my mom our ice cream seemed bored and a little mad or annoyed but I didn't really mind, I was excited for my ice cream. But the lady at the register was really nice. There are a few chairs in pairs of two(for a couple), so if your going with your family you will probably have to walk and eat or eat it on the benches outside in the plaza. read more

For me this is simply one of our neighborhood ice cream shop. Not "the best one". Always clean store, okay service. As much as I like the convenience of the clean cute local store , the variety presented, my family does not like the taste of Hoffman's chocolate. Neither its prices! The rates are quite quite high. Unreasonably high. You would think that Florida based neighborhood store would be a bit affordable to enjoy. But their rates are high. So no, we don't spend a lot of money here. We would maybe stop for an ice cream every once in a while. I would rather go to Ghirardelli. The largest manufacturer of chocolate in Florida needs to make their rates a little more affordable for Floridians who enjoys Hoffman chocolate. read more

Loved all the chocolate displays and sampling the icecream flavors. This sweet shop really gives you some type of remedy. The staff was super nice when we walked in and helped us immediately. I really enjoyed the mini chocolates, they have a variety of chocolate pretzels, marshmallows and candy apples. They also have some sweet gummies to buy! The icecream here was very tasteful, I just get the mint chocolate chip because I love the taste of mint. I wish they had the raspberry icecream flavor but apparently they had ran out. After dining at Duffy's we walked over to Hoffman's for dessert. I immediately noticed that Hoffman's was dead and everyone was at Yogurtland (which is right next door). The employees welcomed us with a friendly greeting. Since all of us were new to Hoffman's, the employees allowed us to try multiple samples of their ice cream. I sampled about 3 of their flavors & decided that cookies & cream was for me. The others in the party decided that raspberry truffle was for them. So far so good. I've tried a few different sweets here, but the caramel apple is by far my favorite. I also love the tangerine and key lime chocolates. Oh and the ice cream is really good too! The staff is great and let you try samples of certain items... like the ice cream. They are in the fountains right next to lime so it's convenient for dessert. But dear Hoffman, I have a request.
