We ordered the Hawaiian Paradise package for $3,000 with a ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park's R2 location. This particular location had an extra fee of $500, but it was absolutely worth it. This location is a beautiful swath of beach, gorgeous rocks, tropical foliage, and the beach faces the sunset perfectly. It is STUNNING, especially when the sun is setting. I couldn't have imagined a more romantic place to be married! They managed the difficult steps of the ceremony setup and breakdown, ensuring that all the vendors arrived on time, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! They handled the arbor, decorations, flowers, chairs, chair decorations, officiant, musician, photography, wedding cake, a beautiful sign made by a local artist, a ginger ale toast, transportation to and from the ceremony, and more. It seemed like an endless list, and they managed everything perfectly! The florals were absolutely exquisite! Say Yes had Karro Florals provide the flowers, and they were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen in my life! I was so worried they wouldn't be premium flowers, but WOW, they were stunning! They included so many floral arrangements, and draped the flowers and beautiful fabrics over a gorgeous bamboo canopy on the beach. It was SO PRETTY! They had the cake delivered directly to our reception at the Rooftop Cafe, and it tasted so amazing, everyone loved it! We ordered a two-tier cake so we could keep the top for our anniversary. Say Yes handled all the details and served as the middle man for all my requests, and throughout every stage of the planning, they never made me feel bad for being particular about something or trying to save money. They really made it so easy, and it was the most absolutely incredible dream wedding! Just like a fairy tale! I definitely recommend them, you will not regret it!

We made numerous changes and updates after paying our deposit (guest count, bar package, signature drink, etc.), and she was responsive and sent back updated total costs every. single. time. we made a new decision. THE FOOD: I am still thinking about the Cajun butter steak, and our guests are still talking about the conch fritters. They have a HUGE selection of entrees and appetizers. The mahi, creamy Tuscan chicken, and steak were our selections and they were INCREDIBLE. Schedule a tasting - the view from the affiliated oceanside restaurant is part of the experience! EXPERIENCE: On the actual day of the wedding, CA kept all of the trains running on track from keeping the bar lines virtually nonexistent to spreading the love and ensuring everyone got the passed apps, including the bride and the groom. Martina made sure my husband and I had everything we needed the whole night and that I actually took a minute to sit and eat (very important for the bride!) COST: Not only was CA the most cost-effective caterer, but we didn't feel like we were nickel-and-dimed for everything like with the other vendors we considered. The cost to add tableside wine was negligible (instead of the $1,000+ we were quoted elsewhere). The signature cocktail came with the package we bought. Eric came to the wedding with his working shoes on - he was incredibly engaged and ahead of schedule the entire day. Instead of coming to me with questions as I was getting ready, he came to me with solutions and updated me on the process of his work. Not only did he act as our day-of-coordinator, he also acted as our florist last minute! I had put my mother in charge of arranging our DIY florals from Costco, and Eric immediately saw that the situation required a professional hand. He arranged everything in the most beautiful way, and we received compliments on the flowers and greenery all night. My only regret with working with Eric, as I told him, is that I didn't hire him for the entire wedding weekend! I can't recommend him enough - THANK YOU Eric!!

Working with Eric was by far the worst and most stressful part of our wedding experience. Far from…read morealleviating our troubles and making our lives easier, it became apparent the more we worked with him that he didn't have a high level of attention to detail, dropped the ball on a number of things, and simply wasn't executing at close to a high level to help us "plan" our wedding. Eric only had a few key responsibilities: (a) day of coordination and (b) sourcing a handful of vendors (hair/ makeup, videographer, DJ, and florals) -- we planned everything else ourselves.  Despite this slim list of responsibilities, Eric was unreliable, not proactive, and unapologetic: 1. After taking our full deposit for the hair and make up stylist, Eric failed to follow through on the contract and never booked the stylist. We found this out two months later, right before our supposed trial appointment (for which we had to fly in out of state) when we reached out to the stylist directly and learned that Eric had never followed through on the booking. There was no apology and we were left scrambling to book the stylist ourselves. Thankfully, she was still available on our wedding day but we couldn't believe that Eric failed to book her after taking our deposit. 2. Eric failed to properly coordinate audio during the day of our wedding. First, he failed to tell the DJ to set up a speaker outside for our ceremony and, even worse, he failed to inform our videographer that a string quartet was to perform at our ceremony. Accordingly, our videographer did not bring any mics for the quartet and we have learned after the fact that none of the audio of their beautiful performance was captured.  Eric's response to this was to have us ask the quartet to re-record their entire performance -- which we found to be unhelpful and completely unacceptable. 3. Eric's idea of preparing vendors was to circulate a "day of" itinerary -- and little else. This left our photographers and string quartet emailing us for details in the lead up to the wedding. He also failed to provide us and our hotel with the names / contacts of the shuttle bus drivers for the wedding day, leaving us and all our guests in the dark about when transportation would arrive. Hiring Eric as our wedding planner is the largest and only regret we have during our entire wedding process. We hope other couples look elsewhere for their wedding planning and coordinating needs (or just plan it on your own).

She was always quick to respond to our email questions and reviewed all of the details with us over the phone a few weeks before the wedding. Booking a destination wedding sight unseen can be like taking a leap of faith, and soon after talking to Ivanka, we realized we couldn't have been in better hands. We were not expecting to be able to choose as many things about the ceremony as we did--we had an afternoon beach wedding followed by a 3 hour sunset sail reception (highly recommend adding the extra hour for the sunset sail) for 19 people including ourselves-- and we were able to select from choices for the decorations, flowers, music (we had a steel drummer who was also our DJ on the boat, DJ El Capitan,--he was fantastic!), vows, and cake. Ivanka provided us with information on how to obtain our marriage license, recommendations for transportation (we used Old Town Trolley Tours), hair, makeup, and wedding insurance along the way. Any questions we had, she had answers to. Ivanka served as both our wedding coordinator and photographer - we cannot say enough about how amazing she is. Our day went seamlessly, our family and friends had a fantastic time, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We received our beautiful pictures in only 2 weeks! The boat crew was also fantastic--they were so accommodating for all of our guests. Ivanka encouraged us to add on additional sandwiches to the food on the boat and we were so glad that we did--the appetizers would definitely be considered "light" appetizers, even for our smaller group, so the sandwiches were a must. If you opt for the sunset sail (highly recommended), just have reasonable expectations about the food - this is not going to be a sit-down dinner, but with appropriate expectations you will be pleased. After we returned from our sail, we went with our guests to the Waterfront Brewery for drinks and appetizers/food and this was a really great complement to what was available on the boat. Overall, our wedding was a perfect day for us. While we were able to have input into almost everything, I strongly encourage you to trust the process and to trust Ivanka. If you are looking to have an intimate ceremony without the stress and pressure of coordinating venues and vendors, then I couldn't recommend this enough!
