This made me chuckle and I'll explain why. My family and I are moving items out of 2 storage units. Unfortunately we did not have the correct keys to the locks. The employee of the stoneage units recommended this company. We called and they said a representative would be available in an hour or two. We called 30 minutes prior to when they would arrive, making sure we could meet them at the gate. The gentleman on the phone said the employee would be arriving soon. As he arrived (with no mask on during a pandemic) we showed him to the locks and he had much to complain about the type of lock it was. He tried his best to get it open, but no luck. Still commenting on how difficult it was, he tried the next lock, and no luck stating that he could not use a drill because of a previous injury to his wrist. He could not perform the service that this company provides so he recommended another company who was a god send. The next day the gentleman originally on the phone asked if his employee completed the job, we said he did not. His reply was "oh" and hung up the phone. If you are in a state of emergency or need of any type of service that this company provides, please save your money and go to Sterling Locksmiths. I was rekeying a lock myself, have done it many times... However, this time I goofed it up and needed help getting the lock keyed. I called "A" Locksmith in August, 2021 to have a new key made for my brother's front door. He was out of town and I had lost my key while visiting from CA and asked simply to have a DUPLICATE key made and NOT TO CHANGE THE LOCK. Jack, from the company, arrived and proceeded to let me in and while I was using the bathroom, changed the tumbler and asked me when I returned how many keys I would like. I told him 2 and he finished, I paid him and he left. Found out when an effort was made by employees of my brother that none of the keys worked including my brother's! This has caused me major heartache and explaining as my brother and his people were locked out of his house. When I spoke with Jack he claimed I told him to change the lock. Why would I have my brother's house lock changed??? Listening to your customer is imperative if you want to be considered a 5 star business. Very disappointed and wondered why I was charged $140 for this simple procedure....just thought it was because I was in Naples..... read more
