He is unwilling to admit or accept responsibility for my vehicle now being two tone. When the sun is out my car appears to be goldish on the driver's side and is a silver metallic on the rest of the vehicle. He first stated that he removed my fender and sent it to a paint specialist to be matched. Later he stated that there were 8 options for my paint code for which, in my opinion, he clearly chose the wrong one. In addition to the run down the driver's door and lack clear coat on the fender jam he billed my insurance for things including the blending of the hood. You can clearly see from the pictures that no blending was done. I am attaching pictures of some of his work. The final picture is from the prior year when the passenger side was painted in Long Beach, WA and they matched the color perfectly. Jay was a pleasant man to work with until there was a problem. He failed to repair part of the damage and told me it was not from the accident but from me removing fender flares. However I still have the original receipt from the purchase of this vehicle from the factory and at no time has it ever had fender flares. Even his own invoice states this. At this point it is going to cost me thousands to fix his mistake. This has been extremely disappointing to say the very least.

They also needed to keep my car for 7-10 days. Spokane Dent Repair was my 3rd and final request for an estimate. Ryan, the owner, came in at $675. Ryan telephoned the driver and made arrangements for payment. Ryan made the damaged area looked good as new and it only took 1 day. The Cummings Shop in Arcata, Ca., authorized to work on Freightliner chassis, gave me an estimate of $1,100 to do the job. Thank goodness I didn't have time to wait around for an appointment. Freightliner Northwest, in Spokane, did the height adjustment, greased the chassis, and discovered that my Cummings Engine had a recall due. Freightliner accomplished all the work for 1/3 of the Cummings's estimate. Due to the availability of parts, Nate recommended that I transfer the recall job to the next Freightliner on my journey. What I was most impressed with, is that Nate took the time to explain every facet of the work accomplished, as well as the importance of having the recall accomplished as soon as possible, possibly saving me thousands of dollars in repairs, should the recalled part fail. It was obvious that he was taking care of me, the customer, working for MY interests, and talking to me like I was the most important job in his garage. I will continue to have Freightliner work on my chassis and any other system they're authorized to work on due to their competency, expertise, and respect for their customers. I'm a fan.

I wanted to avoid making an insurance claim and figured I'd give J.J. at Dent Viking the first shot at fixing it. My expectations were not high, as the dent was made by a sharp corner of the chair, which created a mini-crater on my otherwise nice car. I was hoping J.J. could make it look better and less noticeable. I got an appointment right away and J.J. told me he could make the hood look almost perfect again. J.J.'s repair exceeded my expectations, by far, and he returned the hood to perfect condition. He's a skilled professional, a very nice guy and I highly recommend his shop for affordable dent repair.
