He explained that the underbody shield sometimes attaches to the bumper and that if the mounting points are damaged, the bumper can occasionally need replacement. He gave me rough estimates - around $330 if it was just the underbelly piece, and roughly $2,000 combined if the bumper also needed replacement. I appreciated the transparency about the potential range of outcomes. Even though they didn't have the replacement part in stock, Zachary checked with the technicians in the back and had someone come take a look. They ended up patching the panel so it would stop scraping and be safe to drive, and they did the quick fix at no charge. Overall it was a helpful experience. They took a moment to help me out even though it wasn't a full repair job that day, and the staff was straightforward about what the possible repairs might involve.

This accident really took me for a loop in the first place...when I called around about getting my…read morenewer Blacked Out Edition Chevrolet Traverse (which is like my other baby; we had the rig custom made for us) repaired after a very scary situation, I was told 6-8 weeks before most places could even get my SUV into be checked out/looked at; I then called Caliber Collison in Post Falls, Idaho and from the beginning, Melissa was kind and compassionate, she told me it could be towed in right away. When they received my Traverse she called me to let me know it had arrived safely and that they would get started ASAP. It was mind-blowing how fast I got the call from Mike Chaffee, my now Service Agent with all the details of what was next and what the expectations were. No matter what the reason was he always called me back, answered right away, emailed or even would text through their text line with updates, pictures of the progress and so forth. He helped explain all the things that I had questions about and made working with them extremely pleasant from start to finish! Mike kept me apprised on all the timelines even from the 3rd party companies needed to come in to assist with glass and tire/wheel issues etc. and made having to get major repairs less stressful! Huge bonus, we also didn't have to deal with the insurance company, he dealt with it all, if you have ever had to deal with one, you know what I mean, so that was nice!! ;-) When I got my rig back I couldn't have been more impressed with ALL the work, attention to details, cleanliness and overall experience with Caliber and the entire staff! I was advised it was not ready and had not even been started. Due to staffing., No communication prior to me calling. After the vehicle being there 30 days I felt lied too numerous times. I told them I needed the vehicle back on a certain day after them having it 2 1/2 weeks it gave them another week 1/2 to get done that I was going out of town and it still wasn't done. I was told on 4 occasions that this vehicle would be done and all I got was excuses of why it was not done. Very poor communication. Will never bring a vehicle back.

first is there a way to vote negative 5 stars? this is a…read morehorrible experience review. We were in an accident no too far from the shop, which is on the Chevy dealership lot. So we had our Chevy truck towed there. In the end, they totaled the truck. We spent 4 weeks trying to work with Abra on solutions for pulling critical after market parts from the truck. Every time we requested a quote, they said they would get back to us and did not. Each time we were met with a more bizarre reason as to why they could not do the work. The first time, we were told we needed permission from insurance. We pointed out that first, we are still the owners of the truck (because we had not settled yet) and second, we were already in conversation with insurance, who was ok with us getting the after market parts. Insurance is ok with it because the after market parts are not part of the overall settlement value of the truck. They said they would get back to us. They never did, so we followed up. The second time, we were told that truck is not moveable and the guys could not work outside. Therefore, we would have to pay a third party to move the vehicle into the shop to be able to work on it. We said, ok, can you give us a quote for that? When we followed up the third time, we were told that they had to talk to Accessories because the front bumper has a grill on it which means it is a job more suited for them. We said great, please get us a quote. They never got back to us. When we followed up, the manager let it slip that he never spoke to that Accessories department. . Then we received an email telling us why we should not take the tires off of the old truck because they might have severe impact damage, which can be dangerous. We were already well aware of that and told them so. The whole reason we want the tires is because they have less than 200 miles on them and are under warranty. We already talked to the Chevrolet Dealer we purchased the tires from and they said if any of the tires were damaged we could get them replaced via the road hazard warranty. In the final phone call with the manager he proposed: (1) They could not help us take two of the after market parts (receiver hitch and auxiliary fuel tank). We would have to do it ourselves, but we cannot do it on their lot for liability reasons, so we need to have the vehicle towed somewhere were we could do the work then tow the vehicle back. (2) to remove the bumper we need to pay to have the vehicle towed to the Accessories shop for them to remove the bumper (who he still had not talked to), then (3) we need to pay to have the vehicle towed from the Accessories shop on one side of the lot to the auto body shop on the other side of the lot to remove the tires. But he wasn't sure they could do the tires because "they were not set up for that" (we want just the tires, not the rims) At this point I realized that for whatever reason they just do not want the work and just cannot be honest with us about it. called his bluff and said, "OK, can you get me a quote for that?" 10 min later the shop manager called again and said he was looking at the front bumper with one of his guys. They have determined they cannot remove the front bumper because there is minor damage. We never did get a quote of any kind. The saddest part of the whole thing is that Abra created their own problem. They wanted the truck towed off the lot. Instead of being honest with us and simply telling us something to the effect of "we cannot accommodate you; you will need to find alternate arrangements", they kept stringing us along and wasting our time and energy, for four long weeks. This only delayed us in getting the vehicle towed, which would have been done much sooner if they had been honest and up front from the beginning. Knudtsen Chevrolet should cut ties with them or run them off the lot. That body shop reflects badly on them.

Stay far, far away! The worst experience I've ever had with…read morea repair facility. Mike the manager didn't take responsibility for damage to our truck and neither did Crash Champions corporate. Their "warranty" is worthless. Tim, one of their advisors lied to me repeatedly about the repairs. They got paint overspray inside the cab, water was coming into the cab when going thru the carwash, automatic rain sensing windshield wipers didn't work, additional dents and dings caused by them, broken trim pieces put back on, old corroded mirror was installed, rusty rear bumper was installed and the license plate lights didn't work, weatherstripping damaged and loose. Mike and his Post Falls shop didn't follow any of the Crash Champions policy and commitments outlined on their website. The worst part was them agreeing to make things right and then taking 51 days to return our truck with many items not done. Good luck if you decide to use them to repair your vehicle
