I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. They installed a hot water heater for us,…read moreand have completed multiple plumbing jobs such as toilet installations, sink faucets, UV light systems, and more. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Their response was almost immediate with technicians to address both a plumbing and heating emergency; a furnace failure which had resulted in a frozen pipe to burst causing catastrophic damage to our entire home. Thank you all on the Robert Bradway team for your excellent service!

Both Trevor and Fred were very professional and personable. Trevor took the time to answer questions and concerns with the requested tasking and even walked around with me to discuss air conditioning resolutions for our house. The bill was very reasonable, and the quality of the work was even more impressive. (They took a little extra time to fix a small leak on the sink after the initial install). This was probably the best plumbing experience of my adult life, these guys were awesome can't recommend enough! Oh almost forgot, earlier in the year Trevor found a small gas leak on a union to my furnace during a kitchen remodel in my crawl space and fixed on the spot. He kept my wife and I safe and probably saved us thousands with Central Hudson!

Moen was kind enough to send me all replacement components for free as they are committed to doing. Houghton was concerned that he wouldn't be paid. Being somewhat capable myself, I was able to do the repairs myself. I also pointed out to Houghton, after leaving him a final unpleasant voicemail, that he came back to my house about a year earlier and I paid him within 15 minutes of his presenting the invoice. How could he be afraid to return again? His lack of response and then his stupid comment about not paying him, are patently absurd. His lack of ethical responsibility is the biggest concern. I also discovered that he made some basic plumbing errors in the installation of the Moen iO digital shower control as shown in the Moen video on how to install this device. Hopefully folks will realize that Steve Houghton is unreliable and has no integrity toward old clients.

Buyer Beware: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Unreliable…read more We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk's Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. We cannot recommend this business. All statements above are true, verifiable, and protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act. We hired Arnold to replace our interior doors, door and window trim and baseboard. We asked him if…read morehe would be able to be complete for the painters who were scheduled to begin 3 weeks later and he agreed. We are now 8 weeks past that deadline and still not complete. He is also no longer answering calls or text messages. He damaged some of the freshly painted walls adjacent to the trim he installed and the paint was not applied appropriately to cover his patch. The trim in 3 door openings is not level or plumb and the doors are sticking- brand new doors are sticking!!! One door cannot be installed as the door frame he installed is 1-1/2" out of level. We asked for 1x4 finger jointed pre-primed pine trim for all door and window trim and 1x6 finger jointed pre-primed pine trim for he baseboard. To save money he used common pine boards with major knots and holes in them. We needed him to finish the install so that we wouldn't lose our spot in the painters schedule, so we agreed that he could install it if he caulked all the holes and painted it so the knots didn't show through. He didn't do that. He used different trim that doesn't match what we asked for on the first floor of our home because he said it would allow him to go faster and it was similar width to what we wanted. We agreed, again, to get him to finish before the painters. He didn't finish before the painters and now our walls were damaged when he was installing, caulking and painting the trim. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.
