I was getting my oil changed today, so I walked over to my favorite place to get a pedicure, Kevins Nails. I had my backpack because I was doing some work, and my service dog, Myra. Do, who has been there a long time, took one look at me and told me he did not have any appointments today for a pedicure . I then asked if I could get. Manicure, he said all booked up. He kept giving me funny looks. So I walked out, waited a minute then booked an appointment on line. There were several appointment times available. When I came in Do said "O your back" . I looked at him and said you lied to me. He said no I didn't I just didn't know you had an appointment. I told him I did not have an appointment when I walked in the first time. Do just walked away. I used to come in frequently and get my nails done and I always asked for Do. I guess he doesn't recognize me.I am no longer getting my nails done here, and making sure all my friends know about how I was treated. The shop was empty except for one other person getting a pedicure while I was there. Also if it was about my service dog. Service dogs are allowed in any public facility. She is a medical alert dog, she spent 8 months in Colorado training for her job and cost me thousands of dollars. read more

Wait was long but it was worth it. my nails turned out great!! I got designs with my pedicure and loved it.

So disappointed! The "hot stone massage" was just some hot rocks ran over my feet a few times. There was no other massage. I also had to ask for a towel to wipe my feet off. He had put oil on the bottom of my feet and I slipped in my sandals. I had asked for a French tip. Their powder didn't match my old color. He panicked and I ended having to do an all over color. I had to ask him multiple times to fix the paint where he missed. read more

I always chose to do my nails with Kevin's nails! My go to person is Tina! She is super sweet and detail orientated! She has been taking care of me more than 3 years now, and I have never disappointed with her works! I would recommend give Kevin's nails a try! They did pretty well and I'm happy with all the service they provide! read more

rudest place I have ever been. My daughter and I both came for a Pedi. They sat us together. They Started my daughter. Left me soaking for 30 mins with no comment. Never started mine. After 45 mins, when my daughter was almost done, a worker rudely came to me and said you want Pedi? We had no more time. I had to leave without getting anything done. no apologies. no explanation at all from them. They did not use new utensils on my daughter and she had to ask twice to please use new. OMG, I went this past Sunday for a pedicure and the gentlemen that did my pedicare was outstanding. I don't know his name but I'm sold. I went and got my nails done. The man kept telling me my nails was way to long which I have my nails that long for several month. I get them dripped only my nails was my own nail he cut them to just so they came to the trip of my finger and filed them so they are crooked to the finger trips and not straight with the finger. I will never go back I had problems before there with them cutting my finger with the nail file every time I went there so I stop going there for a few years. I would think with what you pay them they would do a good job since I have paid them thousands of dollars over the years read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. First and foremost, I came in May to get my Prom nails done. Not only did the length not match, one hand was completely different than the other. The nails had fallen off within a day. I went today (06/18/2022) waited for a hour and finally got helped. He was harsh with the drill and cut my skin multiple times. I gave him a simple nail design, and he completely messed it up, it looks nothing like the inspiration. Not only that, there was hair in my nail, and you can see the stroke marks because parts are not fully painted. The nails were sticky still, and the man just kept telling me to put it under the dryer. After 3 EXCESSIVE LAYERS of top coat, I gave up and left. I had called and asked for a refund or for it to be fixed, and the man had refused and I asked for a manager and he said he would give me a call when he came back from lunch. I waited, and no call. I am EXTREMELY disappointed, disgusted, and frustrated with this situation and the lack of help/communication. I do NOT recommend Kevin's Nails. read more

I was very skeptical because of the bad reviews but my nails turned out amazing. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because he was pretty distracted and at some points even playing a game on his phone but he did amazing and wasn't rough and even listened to me when I didn't like the shape. He was also careful around my recently healed broken hand lol. Good prices and would definitely recommend. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone not even a dog. I went here with a bridal party this past weekend and they messed up on everyones nails, they refused to fix them unless we paid more even tho we hadn't even paid for them to start with, when we called the management when he returned from vacation he told us that they are allowed to mess up when there busy. We were the first appointment of the day...... I paid $38 for nails that look like they were done by a five year old not to mention they cut me three times an they cut the bride an had nothing to say about it. read more

This isn't the worst nail place I've been to, but it definitely isn't my first choice for a manicure. Overall, the manicure itself was decent (pretty basic with just polish). However, I scheduled an appointment for 5:30 & although I did get there 10 minutes early, I didn't get started until 5:40-45. The employees are pretty nice, but the employee smoking right in front of the front door sealed my 3 star review. read more

I would rate this place a 0. I struggle with major anxiety and bite my nails when I get nervous. The lady doing my nails noticed and mentioned how bad it looked. She then had everyone that works there come look at my nails & was pointing and talking to the lady next to me about how painful it looks. I asked for a design on my finer nail and she did it and I asked to do it on every one after that, because I like it. She rolled her eyes at me and sighed when I asked that, so I told her to forget it. She was so rude and made me so uncomfortable and added to my anxiety. Worst pedicure ever!! Didn't massage left foot at all. I cleaned dirt out of my own nails after the pedicure. And you could see the cuticle on every toe because he only did the side ! Which btw he cut so far down they are sore!!! Glad I didn't get them polished. No telling what it would have looked like. read more

Don't waste your money. I have been her twice and was disappointed both times. The first time, I had their pedicure with the wax treatment. The wax dried my feet and my heel split and it was painfully to walk. I went back recently to get a gel manicure. Nothing spectacular just a simple gel polish. I have posted photoes from what my nails look like after 1 week. ONE WEEK! My index polish just peeled off. The edges are peeling up (I do not pick at my nails!) Plus the before I left, there was a bubble on my thumb and the lady didn't do anything to remove it, just brushed it off. Please, do not waste your money here. read more

Very disappointed! Called a few days before going in. Asked about price for a back wax and was told $50. Got to the register and was told $80 ($50 and up!) My back was not very hairy at all, just wanted to clean it up for the summer. I am from Omaha and the going rate for a back wax at a nice salon is $50. I verbalized my disappointment to the manager and she still would not budge on the price, $80! Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment. They have lost me as a potential long term customer and if this is standard business practice, they will be out of business before long. Honesty, Integrity, Service and Relationships are non-existent here. All about the money. Proceed with caution. read more

Today I went to Kevin's nails for Mother's Day, me and my mom wanted mani pedis. My usual guy Shawn wasn't there ( the buisness is is great and show it's Shawn and I've had a 5 star experience every time until today) and my moms usual wasn't there either so she decided not to get her nails done but I had broken nails and wanted them fixed so I just let one of the guys there do them. And don't get me wrong my nails look good but there are some flaws. 1. My fingers are cut up , the grinder he was using on my nails had cut my fingers up. 2. My toe nails and finger nails are messy and a little rushed yet it still took hours til we got out of there. 3. He was very impatient with me and wasn't very tolerant. I'm not sure of the mans name who did my nails and no shame to Kevin's nails at all, it's a great place with wonderful business and my usual nail guy is fantastic. I have been there several times, but this last time was terrible. I had the pedicure, he didn't do all of the steps, and had asked me about getting a manicure along with my pedicure. Not speaking good English, it sounded like $7 for a manicure, so I said yes. He did not let my nails soak very long, clipped them straight across and started polishing them. I asked him to shape them and he said already did. While cutting some curticle, he clipped my finger and could not hardly stop the bleeding, it was sore and took a long time to heal. The worse part is on one of my toe nails he clipped it wrong so that is grew inward and is now infected and sore. Thanks for nothing, very disappointed and will not go back nor would I recommend them. I also failed to mention that he charged me $11 instead of $7 for a lousy manicure. read more

I just moved to St. Joe. And just had my fingernails & toe nails done today. My pedicure was great. But... I wanted sculptured nails. I picked a color to match my toenails. Ended up doing some kind of a dip. Not the right color. Dee Dee used a machine to cure my right hand, but not my left. I asked her two times if she needed to use the machine on my left hand. I asked her to make my nails a little shorter. And asked for her to soften the edges of my nails. They are very pointed now. Every time I had a question or request she got agitated. There was very little customer service. Most of the time the nail techs were visiting back & forth with little interaction with the customers. My visit took 2 hours. I am going to Hawaii next week. And am "hoping" my left hand nails don't peel or something. I always tip so my total was $75. Not going back. read more

If I could go lower than a 1 star I would. Took my daughter in to have her nails removed. He went all the way through her nail on two fingers and made them bleed.
