At the time I was supposed to receive the photographs hers were nowhere to be found, ok, maybe it was an oversight. I contacted him and he took a while to get back to me, again, fair enough. When he did get back to me I was met with a very defensive attitude, no reassurance whatsoever. Again, I wanted my photos so I helped as much as I could, gave him a lot of information but I had to chase him for a response. His response left a lot to be desired, he was super rude, and I of course expressed how disappointed I was and started to give the same energy. I asked if he had a studio where he could photograph my daughter since the photos were paid for but ultimately settled for a group photo. He repeated over and over again how he did not receive the order form and how my daughter didn't turn it in, she's FOUR and he knows she had to be around that age. I turned it in to whoever the woman was receiving them. It is NOT my fault that Marty misplaced my order form and did not photograph my daughter when that same woman told him I wanted her photographed. If he did not have time to photograph her, was out of memory, or whatever the case was, he could have told me. It's not about the money, it's the principal. I will NEVER hire Marty myself, I do not like his attitude, service, or even his work, I only bought it to have the memory of my daughter's dance season. If I could give zero stars I would.

I'm all about the "experience", and if I walk away with a smile, the 5 stars is theirs! Take for instance this awesome video studio. I was referred to Chuck by a photographer who'd mentioned he had worked with him on a wedding and that he was a riot! I looked at his work and immediately was impressed! Not sure how they got their studio name but imaginative they are! I spoke to Chuck on the phone and felt completely at ease and was ecstatic to find out that he was available (at such short notice), to film the wedding ceremony and a few pre and post ceremony clips. He showed up on time (even drove from Modesto which is super far from Oakley), dressed professionally and most importantly hustled like there was no tomorrow even helping the DJ move his sound gear closer to the ceremony. How nice was that??? All this to make me happy? Well maybe but I also know this guy is super professional and wanted to do a great job! What I also love about Chuck is that he has been in touch with me since then and is keeping me posted on the final reel. I highly recommend Mindless Imagination....I felt I was in good hands before the wedding and feel like I'm being spoiled after the wedding.
