After a year or so of not seeing anyone, I went to visit an in-network chiropractor and I had a really unpleasant adjustment. Again I took a year. Recently, I tried again with another chiropractor and again I was disappointed. Everytime, all I can think is, "I have got to get back to Dr. Todd!" I will be calling him tomorrow ;) Dr. Todd looks deeply into your issues, your alignment, and the causes of your pain. He develops a plan that is personalized to you and as much as he can, works with your insurance to get you the best coverage outcome. He also took care of my kids and even did newborn adjustments for free! Plus, every visit, you will get to see Gina's smiling face and that will make your day!

I was also shown a "treatment plan" of 24 sessions and given the option to pay up front. I have insurance so he was asking me to pay copays for visits I had not yet had. Do not do this! Copays are to be paid on a date of service. The entire thing felt like fraud. I'm sure these are kind people. But I'm not sure what this guy is actually qualified to do. It did not feel like anything worthy of insurance coverage for medical care.

I was needing help with a hamstring that was continuing to bother me. My former chiropractor moved…read moreall the way to Golden and I didn't feel that loyal to him to go all that way. I called Mission Chiropractic and Dr. Fred returned my call immediately. My first appointment he discovered that I had a lot of inflammation in my body, specifically my right side of my body. I was expecting to get "cracked". Instead, Dr. Fred did a series of tinier adjustments using simple painless tools. I have been to him three times now and I feel much better. He and I talked about the longevity in my family but poor health near the end. He and I are starting a plan to help change my outcome from chiropractic adjustments, massage and change in eating habits. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Fred because I feel that I have a professional to help me every step towards better health outcomes.

I was looking around on the internet and came across Mission Chiropractic and, more specifically, Karise Lewin. I called up and scheduled an appointment and she was very helpful and gave me some information to look up on techniques before I came in for the appointment. When It came time for the appointment, Karise, and her husband Fred, were very informative and passionate about the process and techniques they use. Everything was explained to me as they walked me through the process. As we got into the work Karise did, she did a great job hitting trouble spots and releasing tight and knotted muscles, all while being extremely friendly and making the experience enjoyable. She's definitely not out to make It "hurt good" or cause you any discomfort. Once we were done I felt great! Some of the issues I've been having were gone or drastically reduced to a point I could barely notice. As of now I still feel great and I definitely plan on coming back in soon to try see how much better I can feel after more work. I'm also interested in some of the other services Mission provides. Do yourselves a favor and go in to see Karise and Fred if you are experiencing pain, you won't be disappointed and they are really nice people!

I've seen several chiropractors before for carpal tunnel syndrome, minor scoliosis, sports related injuries and even car accidents, and they have used masking techniques (an adjustment that initially feels good, but actually creates more pain issues quickly). I've experienced many physical injuries that made it very difficult to do day-to-day activities and enjoy my outdoor lifestyle. Kevin's approach to chiropractic care involves truly listening to the client's description of their pain and evaluating the client's physical symptoms. He collaborates with his clients to develop a plan and clearly explains what each adjustment will address. His sincerity, honesty, and humorous approach during interactions with his clients really makes the difference. That is why I highly recommend Kevin Portenier, he works with his clients to help them achieve their goals of pain reduction and management, focusing on strengthening those hot spots to release pain and enable movement that wasn't possible before.

I specifically confirmed this because my insurance covers the services at 100%, and I wanted to avoid any unexpected charges. Unfortunately, the front desk scheduled my appointments incorrectly. The front desk needs better training and a better understanding of scheduling and insurance coverage. This experience left a very negative impression, and I chose not to return.
