Dr. Dooms is absolutely amazing and the nurses too but some of his staff (check in) aren't. I encountered a rather rude receptionist.

He ran every test needed for possible food allergies, and I'm so glad he did--his thoroughness confirmed a few things I had suspected. This year, I returned to get tested for cat, dog, and environmental allergies. Same great experience: I got tested, learned exactly what I'm allergic to, and now we can stay on top of everything. One day I also asked him to test me for bee and wasp allergies, since I had a reaction after being stung by those mean white-faced hornets. Sure enough, that allergy was confirmed as well. We made a plan together, and we're following it now. Honestly, Dr. Welch and his staff are the sweetest human beings--so professional, yet so warm. I love when medical staff treat you like a real person, not a robot, and that's exactly how they are. If you have allergies of any kind, this is the place to go. You won't be sorry.

In only one visit and one follow-up appointment, which she came into the office on Christmas Eve to give (!!), Dr. Bobovski resolved an allergy/immune issue that four doctors, two allergists and a dermatologist couldn't, over the course of 18 months and several dangerous prescriptions/injections, couldn't. A food allergy test! who'da thunk it? My insurance covered the appointment and blood work, and although I did pay out of pocket for the food allergy panel ($85) and for the vitamins I purchased, I'd take that cash payment anyday over a life of free but questionably safe and clearly ineffective prescriptions that covered up my symptoms but didn't help the problem whatsoever, or teach me anything about my body. If I hadn't taken the "radical" plunge into naturopathy (the quotes are a JOKE), I would have taken steroid injections for goodness knows how long, and never learned about my semi serious food allergies that 23 years of cluelessness turned into an eventual allergy and weakened immune system. Two years after seeing her for the first time, I have never had another allergic reaction, and my gut has re-built itself after 23 years of abuse (poor gut!). Dr. Bobovski has respect for her patients and their sense of their own body. She's open about the benefits and limitations about naturopathy. I've never felt uncomfortable for a second in the waiting area (which has great magazines, btw) or naked in a gown on her table. I have never for a second felt rushed into or out of her office -- the level of focus and devotion to each and every issue or question you have is unreal for a doctor at a busy office. Dr. Bobovski and this lovely facility not only fixed the problem I went there for, but helped me to learn about my body from my body, and utterly rejuvenated my faith in medicine and doctors. I could not offer a higher recommendation for this doctor or the facility! And although I haven't personally seen any of her fellow doctors, I've heard good things.

Do your homework before booking anything--one glance at the mountain of negative reviews should be enough to raise many red flags. The staff, to their credit, are generally polite, but they often look like they'd rather be anywhere else. That vibe unfortunately carries over into the quality of care and organization. If you happen to overpay, don't expect a prompt refund--if you get one at all. Got an appointment? Don't get too attached. It may be cancelled and rescheduled... repeatedly. And if you run into any issues, don't hold your breath waiting for a manager to reach out to discuss or remedy them. Providing great care doesn't appear to be a priority at Columbia Allergy. I lived in Las Vegas I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. I had been given a cream to apply every day. The scab even went away. Due to personal health issue, I had stopped using the cream. When I was examine, the specialist said it wasn't cancer and proceeded to burn the scab off. When I reached home, I noticed that the small round bandage that covered the wound was soaked in blood. The intake forms had asked if I ever had to stop taking aspirin before a denta procedure. I checked the no box. I take aspirin every day to help with sciatica nerve pain. When I replaced the blood soaked bandage with a bigger one, that too was blood soaked. I started to panic and looked online to find out how I could stop the bleeding. It said put pressure on the wound and keep the arm elevated. I did that for 1 hour. I decided to fold a tissue into a 1 &1/4" long by 1" wide bandage and tape it on. In the morning I cut the end off the tissue and peeled each layer off. By the time I got to the wound, it was still leaking a little blood. I decided to leave the wo uncovered in order to dr it out. The same evening I called the office, after hours and left a detailed message as to my problem. I requested a return call w instructions on what to do. I never got a return call. 4 days later I received an email saying it was cancerous. I then received an estimated copay for $ 1,381.00. When I called to speak to the billing department, I told the female employee what had happened. She apologized and said she would put notes on my record. i canceled my appointment to get Mohs surgery 2 days later. I couldn't wi good conscienc, not report this on Health Grades. The scab has dried and there is no sign of infection thankfully. Terry B.

Her other reviews on Google are all 5-star so I thought maybe that was just a weird circumstance and proceeded to work with her. In the end, I think "unsafe", "rude", and "dismissive" are all very accurate. The first 2 months with her were fine, but yesterday she said something wholly unprofessional that I think is worth mentioning publicly. For context, we increased the dosage of my medication in July and agreed that we would recheck in September, which we did. My understanding from what she said in July was that the follow-up would be to check if the increased dosage was working. My bloodwork came back in the normal range; my understanding is that if you do blood tests while on medication, if the tests come back normal (not high or low), it means the dosage is working. She said I should lower the dosage. When I said I was confused and asked for further explanation, she just said "Your thyroid is working." When I again repeated why I didn't understand, she responded that I should take endocrinology classes, boasted about her medical licenses, and said "To help you understand, you will need to have knowledge and terminology with clinical experience in both for me to explain." Note that in both of my emails I said over and over I wasn't opposed to following her advice, I just wanted to understand her train of thought. No matter how you slice it, that is a wholly unprofessional answer, to put it generously. A good doctor will fully understand a concept well enough that they can assess a level that their client can understand and explain it to them without just regurgitating what was learned in med school. Patients should not need to get a medical degree or take classes themselves, they should trust that you will guide them with compassion and explain what you are asking them to do with their bodies.
